As they reached the hospital corridor, Dev hugged Sonakshi from the side and in a very soft voice he said 'congratulations Sonakshi' Sonakshi looked at him, he seemed like the happiest man but Sonakshi was scared about the future because they had been separated. Sonakshi gave him an awkward smile. They walked towards their car and this time, Dev had to drive as he had sent the driver to pickup Ishwari and mamaji from the temple. Nobody in the Dixit or the Bose family know about this news, they had to tell them. They sat in the car but before he started the car, he looked at Sonakshi and asked 'ab kya?'. Sonakshi said 'Dev, aaj hum sab Kolkata ja rahe hai. Mumbai mein mera kuch bhi nahi raha hai'.

Dev was shocked to hear that. He hesitated and held Sonakshi's hand and said' Sonakshi, I know ki kal raat jo hua woh theek Nahi tha, lakin kya hum iss baby ke lea iss relationship ho ek chance nahi de sakte? This was Dev's last chance to save his relationship and not loose Sonakshi forever.

Sonakshi fumbled and said' itne dino se hum dono ke families ne bhaut suffer kia hai. I don't think ki abhi kuch bhi ho sakta hai.

Dev didn't know how to respond but then he said 'Sonakshi hume iss baby ke lea iss relationship ko ek chance dena hoga, aur I know ki in dino mein jo kuch bhi hua woh galat tha. Maine baba ko galti se mara, mera koi intention nahi tha.' There was silence in the car. Dev decided to drive to Sonakshi's home and give the Bose family this news and apologise to Bijoy. Dev and Sonakshi didn't speak throughout the drive.

They reached the Bose house and Dev rang the door bell. Asha opened the door she saw Dev and Sonakshi together but didn't react. By that time, Bijoy saw dev and Sonakshi standings at the entrance. He became extremely furious seeing Dev. He began to yell and Dev and tried to create drama. Asha and Sonakshi tried to calm him down. Asha asked Dev to come inside. He looked around in the house and saw that the house was nearly empty. They had packed everything and were ready to leave. The four of them sat on the sofa. Sonakshi looked at had parents and said ' maa baba, mujhe aap done ko kuch batana hai. Vo....vo baat yeh hai ki I am pregnant ' she handed her reports to Asha. Asha and Bijoy were extremely happy. She narrated everything that had happened in the hospital. Dev didn't speak a word. Asha and Bijoy hugged Sonakshi while Dev silently watched them. Soon, Dev stood up and walked toward Bijoy. He hesitated and said 'baba jo bhi us din hau, was a mistake main aap ko marna Nahi chaatha tha. Woh ek galti thi. Main aap ko marni ke soch bhi nahi sakta.' Dev folded his hands and apologised to Bijoy but Bijoy looked away. With that Bijoy went towards his room. Dev was disappointed. Asha had a big heart and she said 'Dev, Bijoy abhi gussa hai, unhe thoda time do.' Dev smiled at Asha. Asha left the room and went to Bijoy. Sonakshi was standing there. Dev said to Sonakshi that he wanted to give this news to everyone in the Dixit house. He requested Sonakshi to accompany him to give this good news. Sonakshi agreed as she had to collect her suite case anyway.

They reached the Dixit house and Ishwari saw Sonakshi with Dev. She didn't like it at all. But before she could say anything, Nikki and Riya asks Dev what happened in the hospital. On hearing the question, Ishwari was confused. By that time mamaji and mamiji saw them. Dev made everyone sit and said ' maa, main aap sab logo ko kuch bata chaatha hu. Sonakshi maa banne wali hai.' Ishwari had mixed emotions, she didn't know how to react after all, that was all what she wanted, a 'grand child'. Nikki and Riya hugged Sonakshi. Ishwari hugged Dev. Mamiji was shocked, she could see that she was failing in the plan of keeping dev and Sonakshi away. Ishwari rushed to the kitchen and got the Aarti ki thal. She didn't like Sonakshi but she faked the affection for the baby.

After Ishwari was done with all the rituals, Sonakshi went upstairs to get her suitcase. Dev followed her. He looked at her and said ' Sonakshi, mujhe pata hai ki tumhare saat iss ghar main jo kuch bhi hua, woh galat tha laki kya iss baby ke lea tum yaha reh sakti ho?' Sonakshi stayed quite as she didn't want to say yes to staying in the Dixit house. Dev understood her answer and said 'agar tum chaathi ho toh hum dono ek alag ghar main reh sakte hai, humare ghar mein, mera tumhara aur is baby ka ghar.' Sonakshi was sceptical about this. She said' Dev is bare mein sochne ke lea thoda waqt chaahati hu.' She said that, because she knew that their families would not want them to stay together. On saying that, Sonakshi left the room with her heavy suitcase and a heavy heart.
