《Destiny Rewritten》Chapter 181

"What are you doing?" Laurel asked Oliver as she walked up to him on his computer later on that night after they returned home from Thanksgiving dinner.
"The reason Lyla called John and I earlier was because an Argus prisoner, a hacker named Cayden James was broken out of prison. I'm trying to see if I can find anything that might lure him back to Star City, since from what Lyla said, we cannot underestimate him." Oliver said, since he also knew this from experience, Cayden had basically set the groundwork for both Diaz's rise to power and Oliver's incarceration. But since Oliver had put Diaz in the ground a long time ago, if Cayden's son was dead, he wasn't sure who could've had Owen killed, if he was dead.
"So you're trying to know your enemy." Laurel said.
"Yeah, but the downside of him being a hacker is that he makes it next to impossible to track down." Oliver said.
"Maybe try looking into his family." Laurel suggested.
"Working on that now, but I'm no Winn. I'm actually going to be bringing this to him tomorrow, since I get the feeling that we're going to be seeing James around here sooner rather than later." Oliver said and Laurel nodded.
Kane Wolfman was sitting in his cell, actually carving hash marks in the walls of his cell.
"Dinner time." the guard said as he brought Kane his meal.
"About time." Kane said.
"You're lucky we're feeding you at all." the guard said.
"You know someday I'll get out of here right. No prison lasts forever." Kane said.
"You really think you'll have the chance to escape? Keep dreaming. You maybe deathstroke's kid, but you forget that this island kept him trapped here for years." the guard said as Kane finished eating.

"Well, I'm not my father." Kane said, right as they heard an explosion and lots of yelling.
"What the hell?" the guard asked as the door was blasted off its hinges and someone walked through the smoke. When it cleared, he saw it was a man you actually looked kind of like Kane, only a few years younger.
"I'm here for him. Hand him over and I'll let you live." the guy said.
"Not happening." the guard said and the other guy shrugged.
"Suit yourself." the guy said as he pulled out a sword and shoved it through the guard's chest before walking up to Kane's cell and unlocking it.
"You're late. By several years." Kane said.
"Sorry, but it was hard to find you without tipping off one of the interested parties." the guy said.
"Fair enough. Better late than never I guess." Kane said as he stepped out of the cell.
"I also stopped by the armory before I came here." the guy said as he held out a bag to Kane, who grinned as he took it and saw it contained his own gear.
"Any chance this is a shopping spree? I know Queen's put a few of his other more dangerous enemies here." Kane said.
"We're going on a tour next." the guy said and Kane grinned as he held out his hand.
"I'm glad we still think alike Grant." Kane said and the other guy looked up and smiled at him.
"We are brothers aren't we. And speaking of Queen, plans are already in place to prepare for our arrival. Things are in motion." Grant Wilson said and Kane grinned.
"Let's get moving." Kane said as they headed out of the cell.

Law of Shadows
Mercs are causing trouble in my city. They are hunting someone, whatever the cost. It’s not like I care that some lowly humans died, but if I don’t act now it would set a bad example. So what would the hero do? Probably he would save the victims and protect them while the enemies keep coming… Yeah, as if I would ever do something so troublesome! They aren’t calling me the demon lord for no reason. I suppose I’ll just shoot the victim and be done with it. ——————————————————————————————— Reading Order of the Multiverse-Books ——————————————————————————————— Author's Comment: If you find mistakes, pls tell, thx. I don't like mistakes.[/window] Author's Comment: I was asked about reading my work on other sites. The answer is simple: Currently, I am not active in any other networks than royalroadl.com. Only here, I correct mistakes and errors. If you read it anywhere else and have to pay for it or have to deal with an annoying amount of advertisement, You Are Being Betrayed. You would do good if you make other people in that network aware of it. This is a free project of mine for the purpose of having fun. And if people try to make money with it you shouldn't bother visiting their website. I have no problem with translation and reposting of the story, as long as the person in question isn't doing it for money or stealing my identity. The only one whom I actually allowed to have my work on his website is Armaell who invested the time to compile them into pdf. (http://armaell-library.net/author/andur)

The Horseman's Culling
After millennia of normalcy, a primal change came over the earth. A horde of gigantic drills burst through the earth’s crust all over the surface, punching a hole out into the light of day. From these dark chasms, creatures of fiction sprung out into a world that has never known magic or monsters. There was no warning, there was no gloating from some deity figure or system notifications designed to give humanity a fighting chance. There was only unbridled chaos and slaughter, as most of humanity’s technology no longer worked.Deep in the dark void of space, nestled within the huge mass of dirty ice known as Halley’s Comet, an ancient guardian noticed the change on Earth while in its perihelion approach to the Sun. On that day, Týr returned to the realms of mortal men.Warning: Rated 18+

Daily life of a cultivation judge
Tired of those cultivators who think it is righteous to eliminate a sect or clan root and stem all in the name of revenge and avoiding future troubles, fights over treasures that end up destroying cities with no consequence whatsoever to the culprit, these psychos whose aim for the peak always involves a trail of carnage and bloodshed in its wake for some reason. Then look no further than the daily life of a cultivation judge. Yang Qing, is a young genius cultivator from a low-tier family whose only safe choice to get resources and hopefully lead an easy life led him to the courts of the Cultivation Order Society. Author’s disclaimer: Hey there this is my first novel so any criticism will be well taken though beware I’m a million-year-old monster who has cultivated the way of the sword to the peak. The daily life of a cultivation judge will be true to its name so it will be heavily on the slice of life lane with a bit of action here and there.Meaning we will see the life of Yang Qing when he clocks in and out. Hopefully, it will be one of those novels you read if you need to relax or are in a slacker mood like one of those otakus who listen to the noises of cicadas in the summer famously used in most animes. And it is in the slacker spirit that chapter release will be on Wednesday,Thursday and Friday. Sank yuuu Cover art by Conny Schneider on Unsplash
