i took in a deep breath. it felt like the walls were closing in on me with all of the words than people said

the shower was still running as i got up leaving my phone behind and open onto twitter. i ran down the stairs and grabbed my keys

i went straight for my car and left the house. i rolled all the windows down and the radio all the way before driving towards the beach

i had to get away from it all. it was way to tiring to deal with this. as i made it onto the road i took in a shakey breath and started my way towards the beach.

with in 15 minutes i was at the beach and in tears as the sun set. i stayed in my car since it had started to rain.

i knew luke was probably scared and looking around for me but at this point i didn't care.

maybe i wasn't good enough. he definitely did deserve better than me.

i noticed a car pull up next to me but refused to look at who it was. i saw them get out of their car.

when my passenger side door opened i finally looked to find luke getting in my car with wet hair and sweatpants.

he obviously didn't want to find me.

"you need to start carrying your phone if you are going to be running off kayla" was all he said to be while handling me.

i took in a deep breath and looked away. how could he say that to me. after me getting death threats for being with him he says that. with no emotion

"fuck you luke" i said looking over at him

"what?" he said shocked and looking back over at me

"you heard me" i started. "fuck you"

"and what did i do to deserve that?" he asked clearly upset. i rolled my eyes and opened my phone to shower him twitter

"my phone was open to twitter. you could have taken a second to look. or maybe you could have asked if i was okay" i said as he read through the tweets

his jaw was dropped when he got to the death threats. he handed me my phone back and i took it

i stared at the tweet and liked it. i put my phone in the cup holder before looking over at the blonde who was raging with anger. i looked away.

"get out of my car" i spoke quietly. he listened and went back to his car. as soon as his car turned on my tears started up again. i let them fall

my phone dinged and i checked to see a text from karl. i just ignored it. i looked to my right to see luke's car gone

i sighed and started driving again while adele played softly on the radio. i changed the station to country. my roots lmao.

i drove back to the house only to see luke's car missing. i sighed and pulled into the garage.

as i turned the car off i checked my text from karl

kayla whats going on

why did you just run away from luke?

he is really upset right now

check twitter then get back to me.

i turned off the car and headed back inside.

"fuck" i cussed out and slid down the wall
