we sat in the studio listening to the last finished songs. luke was enjoying his time as i sat on his lap. katie laid on the couch and harris in his working chair.

i sang along softly as luke played with the hem of my shirt. i leaned into him and he kissed the side of my head. i smiled before turning towards me

"i love you" i mouthed which caused a smile to appear on his face

"i love you" he mouthed back before kissing me. i kissed back then turned back towards where harris was sitting.

i listened carefully to the music and paid attention to my vocals as well. i had a smile on face, excitement on my face.

as we hit the last song i got nervous for what was to come with this album. luke noticed my nerves rising and rubbed my side.

i leaned more into him as he placed a hand on my stomach and rubbed it as if he was talking to the baby.

"okay! that's the album" harris said as the last cords played out

"i love it" i said with a shaky voice. luke kissed my shoulder. katie and harris looked at each other confused.

"so 2 weeks then your second album will be out! you excited?" katie asked

"more nervous that anything" i said

both harris and katie nodded understanding how i felt. harris got up and stretched before saving everything and turning off the computer

"i'm tired as shit so we are going to head out. you can stay here and work on stuff if you have anything" harris said while katie stood

"i might stay for a little. i will see you both later" i spoke quietly

"see ya" luke finally spoke

"bye guys" katie said as they walked out and left.

i got off luke's lap and grabbed my guitar from the booth before sitting in a bean bag and changing the light color to green

"i have been working on something" i said while strumming softly

"can i hear it?" the blonde asked playing with his ring. i nodded while getting the correct pattern and trying to remember the lyrics

"it's about my mom so ignore how sad it is" i told him and he gave me a warm smile as an okay

luke and i got home and i instantly went to teddy and hugged her. luke laughed as he closed the garage. he gently gripped my waist and turned me around

i smile up at him as he looked down at me. he leaned down and kissed my forehead and wrapping his arms around my waist

"i'm going to shower then stream. you should join my stream" he said

"what are you doing?" i asked

"probably minecraft if you are joining. we can work on our world together" he said and i nodded excitedly

we hadn't worked on it in months. we had a huge shared house along with a house for karl and one for gumi.

he smiled at me before picking me up so my legs wrapped around his waist. he carried me up to our room before placing me on the bed

"care to join me in the shower?" he asked

"no i want to relax for a little" i told him while taking off my shoes.

he nodded before kissing me then getting up and going to the bathroom. i pulled out my phone and noticed a few texts from karl. i sighed while opening them

yep!

i clicked the call button before placing my phone to my ear. it rang twice before karl's voice rang through

"good evening kayla" he said making me smile

"good evening karl" i copied his tone

"so i recommend not checking twitter if you haven't because it's going to crush you" he said making me nervous

"why?" i asked trying to stay calm

"nothing! it's all okay. just stay off twitter for awhile" he said

"okay i guess. thank you?"

"of course! i love you" he chirped

"i love you too" i said and then he hung up. i went to twitter to see 'kayla tays neg' trending at number 3
