"hey you two" luke's mom said as we walked into the door. i smiled and gave her a hug then his dad.
his siblings weren't here tonight so it was a bit more one on one. we planned on telling his parents during dinner then tell all our friends tonight when we got home
i didn't know when i was going to tell my dad but hopefully soon. i was scared as to what he would do in all honesty.
miley never talked to me so i had no clue when she would find out but probably around the same time my dad does.
luke and i sat at the table since all the food was done. we sat next to each other and across from his parents.
he held my hand and squeezed causing me to look up at him and smile. he smiled back at me before kissing my forehead
"so what have you two been doing?" his dad asked us
"not much. streaming and working on music"
"how is that album coming along? i heard it should be out in a few weeks" luke's mom pointed out which made me smile
"comes out on my birthday" i said before taking a bite of food
"september 22nd correct?" she questioned and i nodded. "looking forward to it"
luke choked out a laugh knowing his mom would hate the album due to its meaning. i slapped his thigh and he smiled
"so luke what have you been doing besides normal streaming?" his dad asked
"not much honestly. just keeping the animals and this one alive" he said scratching my head
"she must be a handful" his dad jokes and i laughed. i loved luke's dad more than anything. he was extremely funny and kind.
"she really is" luke said smiling at me as i gave him a glare.

"don't make fun of little kayla. she could hurt you" his mom said making us all laugh
---
"so mom dad. we kind of have something to tell you" luke broke the small silence as we sat at the table playing a card game we always played when we came over
"what's up sweetie?" luke's mom asked
"well, we just found out that we are having a baby" i said placing my cards down
"OH MY GOD!" his mom said smiling. luke's dad sat there in shock with a smile. "come here give me a hug
we both stood up and i hugged her. she kissed my cheek. she was clearly happy when she pulled away.
she looked over at luke and hugged him as i sat back down. she sat down and clapped.
"so how far are you along?" luke's dad asked
"4 weeks" luke and i said together. he held my hand again which made me blush
"you got a long time girl. got any name ideas?" his mom asked
"haven't really talked about it" i said looking at luke and he nodded
"i have definitely thought some up, don't worry mom" he joked and she rolled her eyes
we spent the next 30 minutes talking about baby stuff and other things before i got extremely tired so we decided to go home
in the car i decided to call caroline and tell her. she answered on the second ring
"hello my love" she said
"hello darling. you are on speaker because luke is here"
"hi!" luke said and she said it back
"so umm imma just get straight to this. i'm 4 weeks along in my pregnancy" i said quickly
"YOU ARE WHAT" she yelled making luke and i laugh at her reaction
"she is pregnant!" luke cheered
"i'm going to be an aunt! does karl know?"
"he knew before luke did" i said truthfully
"and i didn't? rude" he joked.

Madness Led by the Hands
‘Great, no… splendid. It was for naught.’ ‘Naught? Depends. If your desire is to send an army of killers our family’s way, yes indeed. If it’s plain survival you seek, then no.’ ‘They don’t coexist?’ ‘What… don’t tell me you’re still all groggy from the fall. Perhaps in novels, but real life is much tougher–––many more times a drag than anyone can possibly imagine. If dusty history is not a reliable teacher for you, then the pandemic surely took that place. At least that one has the advantage you needn’t be literate to savvy how reality always trumps imagination.’ ‘Whatever you say, whatever you say. So… what now?’ ‘Now? Isn’t it obvious? Now we shall survive. And live a good life.’ ‘Ohh… pretty much everything here has something against this little weird wish of ours. Might you consider?’ ‘Then pretty much everything here is a goner.’ ‘Hm, I don’t like the sound of that. Too much trouble, you see. I’d prefer laying low somewhere safe.’ ‘…nobody told you it’s mutually exclusive, no–––or did you forget about that too?’ ‘Fine, then I wish my future enemies all the best.’ ‘They are undeserving of your pity.’ ‘Of course not. That unlucky bunch won’t ever comprehend the reason behind their demise. Just let me smoke in peace and offer my condolence in advance.’ ‘Idem, let me study alchemy, unobstructed by all, if possible. This also includes you. By the way, are you sure you smoke to offer condolences? It seems like an excuse to me.’ ‘I-it is none. Plain truth, you see?’ ‘Seriously, why did I even ask...?’

Hemophobia
Having a good life Chris never even thought about joining virtual reality. A lot of friends and even more girlfriends. Expensive clothes and cars. A handsome athletic look and highly intelligent mind. In addition a Family that can provide everything to him. Pretty much everything someone wants to have at the age of 20. However Chris starts to have second thoughts about his ''blessings'' and decides to join virtual reality with the purpose of having a very different life there.PS. There will be no violation (rape) scenes in my story. Rape, sadly, is part of our world with many culprits and victims and I don't accept to 'create' another victim OR culprit of such monstrosities, even if they are fictional. The story in general will remain on the bright side most of the time.
