i woke up the next morning wrapped in sheets with the sun shining through the windows. luke was asleep next to me. i smiled and got out of the huge bed.

my stomach growled and i realized we never got food for the the week. i threw on a pair of black shorts and a pink tank top.

i put on my birks before getting my phone and sunglasses. i quickly went to the bathroom and brushed my teeth and hair

after finishing that i walked out and down the stairs. i put my sunglasses on and walked out the door.

i knew there was a smoothie shop down the street since we passed it. i slowly walked towards the shop sending luke a text

hey babe. i'm walking to get us breakfast for

the day.

we need to go to the store later

i turned off my phone and kept walking the short walk towards the small shop.

"luke baby?" i called out closing the door behind me.

"in the living room" he called out after me.

i walked into the living room to find him in shorts just sitting on the couch. he set his phone down and looked up at me

"hey baby" he spoke as i handed him his smoothie "thank you"

i sat down next to him and took a sip off mine. he took a drink before kissing the side of my head. i looked up at him and connected our lips together

"you could have woken me up, you know that right babe?" he asked and i nodded

"yeah but you looked cute sleeping" i said and he scoffed at my words

"shut up" he said with a smile on his face

"how is your drink?" i asked

"amazing. you are the best" he said and i smiled. he kissed my forehead "so what are the plans for the day?"

"well we do have a huge beach across the street" i said and stood up

"okay. also we are trending on twitter" he spoke and i look at him confused. "for good reasons. people are talking about how happy they are for us"

"good. they should be" i smiled before going up the stairs and to our room.

i walked into the room and set my drink down before slipping off my shoes and going to pick out a bathing suit.

i picked out one and brought it to the bathroom with me where i changed into it and put my clothes back over top

my phone dinged and i looked at it

"holy shit" i whispered clicking on the audio and listening to it. i started to tear up in excitement

i jumped up and down before walking into the bedroom to find luke walking in. he saw my excitement and gave me a confused look

"we got the add in to the song" i said. he smiled before walking over to me

"you deserve this kayla" he said holding my face and i nodded understanding. "you know you deserve all of this right?"

"not really but yeah" i said breaking eye contact

"baby look at me," he started "you deserve the fucking world. i knkw shut has gone south with everyone in your life but it's time to change that so you can get better"

"i know luke. i promise i know" i said before walking towards my suitcase. "get ready i want to go soon"

"ok" he said quietly before walking to his suitcase and getting out his stuff while i organized our stuff a little bit

my phone started ringing and i noticed it was nick. what the fuck. i grabbed my phone and walked downstairs and out onto the back deck before answering

"hey! you okay?" i asked

"kayla" he started "i need to talk to you"

"okay? whats up?"

"i think luke is doing shit behind your back. like i don't know for sure but ever since he proposed he has just been different about talking about you" he said making me laugh
