《Transformed || Zed || ✔️》Chapter 12 - Homecoming Game Disaster

Later on, Y/n and Zed had finally made it to the Homecoming game. Today was the final game of the year. Everything was going great. The cheering was solid and the football team was on its way to victory.
The Mighty Shrimp were down by 5 points, so the coach called their final time out.
"Okay everyone, we have to cheer our best today!" Bucky called. "Any slackers are going to be on suspension, so I better not see ANY of you slacking, especially with the cheer competition soon!"
Y/n rolled her eyes and brought her attention back to Zed. She noticed him sitting on the bench, looking upset. She frowned and ran over. "Zed? Are you okay?" She sat down beside him. "What?" He covered his wrist again, "Yeah, I'm all good. I just have to win this game and it's zombie freedom for all," He smiled.
"(Y/N)!" Bucky yelled. Y/n sighed, "I gotta go." Y/n kissed his cheek and smiled, noticing him blush, "You're gonna do great today." She ran back over to the squad.
The game continued, and she got an idea. She grabbed Bucky's megaphone, and stood in front of the crowd. "Give me a ZOM!" "ZOM!" The crowd cheered back.
"Uhm, (Y/n)? What do you think you're doing?" Bucky raised a brow. Y/n shot a quick glare his way, ignoring him, "Give me a BIE!" "BIE!"
"Stop! (Y/n), I'm warning you! Stop what you're doing right now!" Bucky challenged. She looked at him and smirked. "What does that spell?!" She yelled. "ZOMBIE!" The crowd roared.
"YOURE OFF THE TEAM!" Bucky shouted at her.
Y/n shook her head and threw her poms down, and walked up to the bleachers where Bonzo and Eliza were sitting. "Did you just quit cheer?" Eliza questioned, confused. "Nope. Bucky fired me. I'm glad he did, I seriously hate cheering," she laughed.

Zed had just won the homecoming game. Y/n was so proud of him! She ran down the bleachers, down to where he was tackled by the opposing players. As she ran over to him, the football players got up from him and started running away, screaming. Y/n furrowed her brows and walked closer.
"Zed? Are you.." Zed turned around and Y/n froze. His skin was a darker gray than normal, his veins a deep greyish/red color piercing through his pale skin; his beautiful brown eyes hidden through his blackened eye sockets. He growled at Y/n and she gasped.
"Zed! What happened to you!" She looked into his eyes, desperately searching for the real Zed. He said nothing and continued moving towards her. Realizing that Zed could do anything to Y/n since his Zband stopped working, she ran. She ran off the field to find a hiding spot.
Maybe I could lose him...
She dove behind the bushes separating the football field to the walkway. She walked to the base of the bushes in hopes that she had lost Zed. She started panicking, what if I lost Zed forever? What if they can't fix his Zband and he stays a brain eating zombie like that forever?
Her thoughts were cut off short when she heard a deep growl. She turned around and saw Zed. Her heart started racing as he slowly moved towards her. Thank God Zombies were slow.
"Zed! Zed it's me, (Y/n)! What happened to you?!"
Nothing.
He came closer.
"Zed, baby, it's me, you don't have to act this way! This is not you!"
...
"Zed, please!" She was backed up against the bushes, nearly laying on the paved floor. "Please.." Her eyes flickered behind Zed and noticed Gus was right behind him, with something dangerous in his hand.

Her eyes flicked back to Zed's as she noticed him dash towards her, pinning her down. She screamed and squirmed under him as he lowered his mouth down to bite deeply into her neck, which was the closest place he could get to her brain from that angle. She screamed and tried to pry him off of her, but it was no use. Light drops of blood began to trickle down her skin. She fought as hard as she could as Zed pinned her arms down, forcing her in place. She looked back at Zed with pure pain and betrayal clouding her eyes as she let the tears fall, "Z-Zed?"
Zed was about to strike again - probably to snap her neck fully - when he screamed out in pain and fell down on top of her, making her grunt loudly. Behind him was Gus, who had just zapped him.
Zed began to turn back to normal. He looked up back at her and noticed her neck and gasped. "(Y/n)... did i...? I..I'm so-"
"(Y/n)!" her sister Addison came rushing towards her. "Bucky and I told you! Zombies are evil, they'll eat you alive! They'll- oh my God, your neck!" She gasped and glared at Zed.
Gus started to handcuff Zed and Y/n screamed, "No! Stop!" She scrambled to get up and move over to him, but Addison held her back. "Don't take him! He couldn't control himself! He's not evil!"
"Tell that to your bleeding neck, (Y/n)!" Addison frowned. "I'm sorry," Zed looked down with tears and guilt in his eyes. Gus and Zed get up, and lead him away.
"Let me go!" Y/n struggled to free her wrists from Addison's grasp, and once they were free she sprinted off towards Zed and Gus.
"(Y/N), STOP!" Addison screamed after her sister. "NO!!" she ran after Zed. "STOP! LET GO OF HIM!" She yelled to Gus. Zed sighed, "Let it go, (Y/n)," Zed muttered quietly. Y/n ignored him, "Please! Let him go! He's not bad, I'm their friend!"
"We don't have human friends!" Eliza cried and Bonzo looked down. Y/n's heart broke. "Please, stop! Let them go!"
"You know, maybe they're right. Maybe we shouldn't be together, (Y/n)." Zed said, his head hung low. "W-what?! No! Zed, don't say that!" Y/n's voice cracked, scared. "(Y/n), I hurt you! I bit your neck and almost ripped your head off!" Y/n noticed a tear trickle down his cheek, "I'm sorry. It's for the best. Just forget about me, and move on."
"I can't do that, Zed," Y/n responded, her tone quiet and wavering. Why not, (Y/n)?" he said, his lips forming a flat line. "Because... because I-"
"It's time to go," Gus said, cutting her off. "No! Wait! Zed please!" "I'm sorry," Zed mumbled so quietly that no one but him and Gus could hear.
Gus lead him, Eliza, and Bonzo into the zombie patrol truck. Y/n broke down as Addison came by her side followed by Bucky, "C'mon, we need to fix your neck before it gets infected. That looks deep," Addison and Bucky help her up. She let them lead her to the infirmary, too wrecked to speak and fight back.

Dauntless: Origins
Snow white hair, blue eyes, pale. Devil, monster, mutt, failure. This story follows one Tyr Faeron, crown prince, heir primus and mass murderer. A wrathful, angry, and lost young man that has made it his goal to hunt down the men that killed his mother - and he is on the cusp of finishing the promise he'd made before her cairn stones so many years ago. On the surface he is duplicitous, whimsical, and base of cunning - but within the depths beyond the many masks he wears, something is waiting. Waiting for an end, the end he'd come to long for, whether it be to himself or any possible threats in his vicinity. After that long labor of vengeance is completed... Nobody knows, not even him - an arrogant and otherwise solitary individual with nothing in the way of friends - only the brothers of the blackguard who follow him through life as he pursues this mission. He was born a prince, but he'd be called a disappointment - failing to manifest the great power that he was born to before being summarily discarded by his father, a 250 year old 'primus'. That word again... Men who can shatter mountains and level cities, that's what he was supposed to be. Some call them demi-gods, all Tyr sees is a poor excuse for a parent. Time had made him bitter, cruel, and arguably psychotic - seeing only enemies wherever he looks. They'd come for him, too, one day - to wipe the slate clean and make room for another - and it's his conviction to ensure that he dies while taking as many of those rats with him. This is a story about finding acceptance, growth, and understanding - from the point of view of a cold and brutal individual who wears many masks. Of someone who was born to be the greatest emperor the eastern continent has ever seen - but he failed in that. Strong, yes, but only in the context of a man - Tyr's magic is weak. His convictions are weak. He has been made a beast of instinct by loss and a constant confronting of his own impotency in the face of his father. A mythos that stretches across planes, of magic, a pantheon of cruel gods. Of someone who's dedicated his entire mind to the art of killing a man, and none to living a normal childhood or coming to understand friendship, empathy, or compassion. The first five years of his life a mystery, a hole none have ever been willing to fill, leaving him warped and twisted. His formative years gone and what must've been most of his humanity along with it. Now 17, he is on the cusp of leaving the city he'd never been permitted to leave for what might be the first time in his life. Always searching, though he won't know what for, for some time. An episodic that follows experience and symbolism rather than a never ending series of battles - where the conflict lay in constantly searching for wholeness in lieu of great villains or heroes. This is where it all started, the origin, the tale told a million times - and yet it hadn't been, 'reality' is tricky like that. The greatest lie ever told by the tongue that speaks is that any of this was real at all.

Tale of the mage hero [Completed]
so I've been into rising of the shield hero for a while now... a lot of things about it ALWAYS bugged me starting with the fact that the world functions like a game and the heroes are supposed to fight together in a party.... BUT WHERE'S THE ARCHMAGE?! THE BLATANT DISRESPECT TO THE MAGE CLASS IS REAL AND ANGERING! so I decided as a gamer who rather enjoys being a mage and healer, I'd rectify that. and other things. for all intents and purposes this is a self insert but I will be using my proxy OC that I use in my nutty fangirl daydreams. DON'T WORRY! I'M NERFING MY PROXY! this will follow the plot of the anime because..... I want to. and I'm..... LAZY~! and using the manga is too much trouble and the light novel is 800+ chapters long. So FUCK THAT! anyways if you read this and think it's lackluster then I want to see you try your hand at writing tate no yuusha fics! no that's not a challenge or insult it's just a desperate plea for more tate fics... we need some more variety! Alright I'm gonna be honest here. This story is laughably bad. So read at your own risk. The only reason I'm not revising it is because 1 I'm Lazy as fuck and 2 to serve as a lesson on what NOT to do for new writers. So like I said, read at your own risk.
