《Transformed || Zed || ✔️》Chapter 7 - Pro-Cheerleader

.:: Y/n's POV ::
A week had passed, and Zed continued to wrack in those wins. Zombies were given so much freedom throughout the school, and it was beautiful.
Y/n was sitting at the table with her friends, thinking about her and Zed. She looked up and saw Zed across the lunchroom, smiling and laughing with his zombie buddies with some humans surrounding them. He was popular, and fitting in. Her heart swelled. He looked so happy. His smile made her heart beat at unnatural rates, his laugh sending butterflies flying in her stomach. She was completely falling for him.
She decided to stand up and go sit by him. Just as Y/n got up, a hand grabbed her shoulder and turned her around quickly. "Bucky?" she asked, surprised.
"You're either pro-cheerleader, or pro-zombie. Make your choice," he says sternly. "What..?" she froze, hoping she heard him wrong.
"Now," he snapped. "Choose wisely, cause if you choose wrongly..." he nodded his head towards Addison and smirked. She gulped, "I..."
She thought about Zed, and how happy she is with him.But then she thought about Addison and how much she loved cheering and her fitting in. She sighed, "I want to be a cheerleader."
Bucky grinned, "Good choice." Bucky walked off, leaving her standing there, consumed in her wary thoughts. "Hey (Y/n)!" Zed yelled from across the room. She looked over at him and tears welled up in Her eyes. She ran out of the cafeteria to cry, away from everyone and away from Bucky and Zed.
.:: A few minutes before the game, 2 1/2 hours later ::.
Y/n tore out a piece of paper from her notebook, took a pen, and began to write.
"Dear Zed, I'll always be cheering for you on the inside. Xo, (Y/n)❤️"

She ran to the lockers and slipped it in his locker. She heard footsteps, so she ran off to the football game quickly so she didn't get caught.
After what felt like the longest football game, it finally ended. All Y/n wanted was to go over and give Zed the biggest hug and maybe even a kiss, but she couldn't risk it, and it frustrated you to no end. The cheerleaders started to clear out, but she continued to watch Zed have a blast with his football friends. He caught her eye and winked at her, then ran off the field. She was about to walk away when someone wrapped an arm around her shoulder, holding a note. She looked at who it was and saw it was Bonzo. He whistled and gave her the note, hugged her, then ran off. Y/n laughed, Bonzo was so weird sometimes. She opened the note.
"Ready to break every rule in the book? Meet me at the border tonight at 7. Xo, Zed"
She gasped. "I could get in so much trouble.." she mumbled. After she thought it through she grinned, "I'm in."

Dear Spellbook (Rewrite)
Live. Study. Repeat. Tal never saw himself as an adventurer, but the call to adventure never much cared for his opinion. Despite his best efforts, his search for answers on the murder of his parents ever draws him into danger. Accompanied by a group of seasoned warriors, thus far Tal has gotten by on his own meager magical talents, but when one day he wakes up to find himself back in his bed of the night before, he is faced with a challenge he must conquer alone. What to expect: This story was born of an attempt to create in world lore reasons for many of the mechanics and tropes of D&D, but you do not need to know of them to enjoy the story. It's a single POV time loop story with slow paced progression fantasy elements. The story is not one of fast-paced power ups and non-stop action, but as it progresses, the action picks up. There is a lot of magic system exploration on a system built to unify the diverse magic of D&D into one cohesive magic system. The setting is an original world with familiar races and monsters but with new unique origins and motivations. The average chapter will be 2-5k words long, most being around 3k but there are a few less than 1k, due to the nature of the story telling device I used. Book 1 is complete. Posting is on hold until I finish book 2. Book 2 progress: The rough draft is done at 141656 words as of 7/9/2022. I need to reread and edit it but Im aiming for resuming chapters in September.

The Blood Queen
The rain fell from the sky with ferocity and smashed into the pavement filling the air with the sound of a stampede. The noise was deafening as I struggled to stand up. The blood from my wound was covering the ground beneath me and I covered it with my hand as I pushed off the pavement. On my feet now I struggled to step towards the grass. Through the howling wind and pounding raindrops I could hear what sounded like a chant, calling me and drawing me towards the cliffs edge. "Vienna, my Queen, my blood Queen" I started to move my feet faster until I could run towards the edge. Only when I was at the edge did I turn and look back one last time at the castle behind me. I could see him standing on the balcony, he was screaming my name. I could just hear it over the rain. I unclipped my red cape and whispered goodbye to him. As he jumped off the balcony to run towards me I leaned backwards and let my body fall with the rushing water to the river far down below. I carried her whispers with me to the dark edge until they vanished.
