After the world was forever changed by a calamity over a thousand years ago, Litteral "Protagonist" Miles Trainer unlocks his Fate Dissociation System the night of his Class Awakening. With it, reality literally bends to accommodate his pace on the journey to become the Hero of Fate. "So you're saying that until I cross certain points or 'flags' calamity won't strike?" "In other words, unless I make my 'predestined' move, the world will be safe, right? I could just train away for years peacefully until I'm more than strong enough for anything and wreck shit when I damn please?" "Heh, yeah. I 'totally' won't abuse this~" [Author here, Just a forewarning that I'm writing this synopsis and the story without a solid outline/plot/whatever-you-want-to-call-it. The dialogue, here in the synopsis, probably won't ever be directly spoken in the story; though, it might. I only just finished writing the first chapter, so, we'll see.]

English is my first language. I appreciate it when people point out grammar issues. I also appreciate constructive critiques. I'm writing this mostly because I've read so many novels on here that i feel that I should give back to the community. Will be at least a chapter a week. Every Friday. I keep a buffer of 3 chapters, so if i get on a roll and write more chapters, there will be more updates. My chapters will be at least 3000 words, prologue excluded. I'm shooting for more like 6000 words a chapter, mostly because i never like how small the chapters are in most novels on here. Not enough MEAT. Oh and comments that touch my heart get me excited to write. Just figured that out.

Nihon no Niko
Curious about his heritage, Niko Kamawari intends to spend a month living in a boarding house in Shibuya, Japan. But as he is unable to speak the language, the teenager struggles with many day-to-day activites. Just as Niko is considering giving up and moving back to New York City to live with his father again, he comes across a sharp-tounged, pale-looking girl called Hanako, who can seemingly understand him. But after meeting her, Niko begins to notice strange things about his boarding house, its residents and even the things in his new everyday routine, like how some of the residents will always are constantly wearing hats, scarves and thick coats inside, others always covering their mouths whenver they speak and some of the residents don't leave their rooms until nightfall. Other strange occurences and rumors begin gaining attention throughout Shibuya, like a group of people all seemingly disappearing at once or a group of strange people who are apparently turning into humans and going on wide-spread murdering sprees... Things begin to get even weirder when suspicous black cars and people in black suits begin appearing around Shibuya all of a sudden and they seem especially interested in the boarding house for some reason... Niko's stay in Japan may just end up being a lot more...eventful...than he and anyone else could have ever expected it to be...
