The novel is written in third person in the views of Ying-tai and Xiu Juan who are lovers. Both descendants of Qin, they are separated by the unfortunate events that take place during the 7 Warring States of China and they fight from opposite ends of the world to reunite. In their trials, they are tested against all that they know and the fine line that once divided mankind disintegrates as camaraderie is found amongst the known enemy. They were artworks done by other amazing artists that inspired me to write what I wrote and to create the characters in the story. Children of Danu, People of Skill Book 1. (LitRPG/Gamelit)
Hi all, this is my first attempt at fiction ever. I'm sure it's awful, first attempts at new things usually are. Hopefully you can find something you like in it. I had a great deal of fun writing it. It's a basic Litrpg/Game, God sends you to a new world to do their bidding plot. I Know I did too much telling and not enough showing. I'm working on that. The underlying system is one haven't seen or done much. a full Point Buy system, like Gurps, Champions or the Hero system. After writing it a while, I see why folks don't do it. The record keeping is tedious. And once you start doing math in subsequent chapters, you can't go back and add more action, just because you dread redoing all the math. I've got about 80k words written in two "books" on the novel so far. I'm going to edit chapters and try to drop a couple a week till it's finished. Hopefully that will work for folks. Adventure of chance is the story of Aias Geno’s journey. Aias was brought up in an orphanage for children who were left behind in war. He and the rest in the orphanage were trained since joining to become strong capable warriors so that no other children would have to lose their families. Most who were brought up in the orphanage decided to become soldier, generals, or knights, but Aias wanted to see the world! When he turned sixteen he would go out for his own adventure. This is his story! Note: I have slight dyslexia so you may find points in chapters which make no sense. If you see these please tell me! I often miss these when reading through checking for discrepancies.
