《The ThickGirl and The Badboy》Chapter 49: Lights Flashin.

She looked amazing, with her long hair falling behind her back. I felt lucky having her in my life, she made me so happy.
"Remember when you neglected me to talk to some other girl in the carnival?" Koleen asks slurping into her gross, but oddly appetizing smoothie.
"Who?" I ask confused. I remember no such thing, much less a girl in a carnival.
She rolled her beautiful hazel eyes at me, "When I had to call you my man for that girl to let you go?"
I recalled back to the date then remembered my satisfaction when she did ,in fact, do that. I liked the sound of it coming from her.
I chuckled. "Oh yeah! It was funny you gotta admit."
She scoffed. "Not when you had that stupid smile of yours the whole time it happened. It was embarrassing for me to say it."
I leaned toward her, "That what, I'm your man? Is it not true?" I teased.
She blushed. I fucking loved when she did that. Her pink cheeks, I wanted to do things to her that she probably didn't feel comfortable to do now, and kiss her soft skin all over again.
I wanted to see her breathless, and hear her moan-fuck. I'm thinking too much on this, I should stop.
"It's true now." She says in a small voice.
I take a deep breath and try not to think dirty, I'd only make things uncomfortable for her.
"Is it?" I say, wanting to hear her say it.
"Yeah, you're my boyfriend now." She smiles.
I wanted to lean in and kiss her but instead I ask, "I'm your what?" wanting to hear her say it once more.
"You heard me." She says with a bit of attitude.

I narrowed my eyes at her and replied, "Apparently I didn't if I asked you, now what was it that you said?"
She scoffs, but nonetheless repeats herself. "You're my boyfriend."
I smiled smugly. "That's what I thought."
"Oh shut up."
"Did you have a good time despite the running?" I ask her curiously.
After that night I was slightly embarrassed, mostly because she was the last person I wanted to be in that situation with.
I thought maybe she didn't want anything to do with me, maybe thinking I was a delinquent.
"I mean, it was an interesting date."
"You mean your only date." I teased.
"Whatever, I still had fun. It wasn't how I imagined my first date to be, but looking back at it makes me laugh. "
"Really, I thought you'd ignore me after it."
"Well maybe, but I still had a good time so I guess that's all that mattered to me."
"That's good to hear ThunderThighs."
We smiled at each other until she broke eye contact and said, "Anyways I don't mean to be rude, but I kinda have to get home."
"Let me guess, homework? Running?"
"Homework, math is not going good for me."
"If I were the smart one in this relationship I would help, sadly I fall asleep in math."
She laughed, "I bet you do, so who are you in the relationship since I've taken smarts?"
I thought about it for a second before finally saying, "The hot, clever, and funny."
"Aren't I that too?" She flirts exiting out the restaurant.
Once we were close to my car, I grabbed her waist pulling her towards me, and said "You're really hot too, I don't know about funny though."

She shoved me off, " I am funny."
"No you're not."
"Am too."
"Maybe just a teensy bit."
"Bryson!" She whined.
"Okay Leen, lets get your beautiful ass home now."
I didn't want to drop her off, but I had to. I'd see her again tomorrow,so there was no need for me to not want to.
I just found myself wanting to be with her consistently, I didn't want to be clingy but I liked her a lot. I wanted her presence more than anyone's.
She made me forget about the world, and only focus on her beautiful self.
As I headed home I noticed police cars in my driveway. I couldn't help but feel a little worried that they were possibly coming for me?
I haven't done anything bad, but someone could've blamed me.
"What's going on?" I asked once I got inside.
I was surprised to see my dad home talking to two of the policemen, with a blank expression.
Danielle noticed me, and ran towards me embracing me in a hug.
"Be strong Bryson."
I pushed her off of me confused.
what the fuck.
"Why are the police here, did I do something wrong?"
The two men, looked towards me with a sympathetic look, "You must be Bryson right? Son of Auroa Lackowski?"
My heart started beating fast.
Did they finally find her?
Was she with them ?
"Yeah, was she found? Is she nearby? Where is she?" I desperately wanted to see her, if she turned into a drug addict, or an alcoholic, I didn't care, I just wanted my mom back.
But my heart soon started to sink as the police held a saddened expression.
"Son, her body was found near the lakes outside the city. We identified it as hers with DNA studies.I'm sorry."
I couldn't believe it. I didn't want to.
It couldn't be.
She disappeared, and just died?
Did someone do it?
Did she commit suicide?
It couldn't be, because she loved me.
I know she did, I've waited half my life wanting her to be back and embrace me in her warmth.
The woman who raised me, and showered me with love couldn't be dead.
"Are you okay? Do you need some help?"
"What happened?" I whispered, feeling numb.
"Well as we told your father, and stepmother, it hasn't been identified yet as to what exactly happened, we're guessing accidental drowning. What we do know though is that she's been dead a while. We just came to notify the family. And we will keep in touch with y'all with further investigation."
This couldn't be true. My chest felt tight, and I couldn't breath.
I ran towards my room, and pulled out a box under my bed.
A box that held all of my memories of her.
I clutched it tight, while sobbing uncontrollably.
I wanted her back.
I hoped she'd come back, and now she never will.
The pain that I buried deep inside of me resurfaced, I couldn't handle this.
She was everything to me, how could this happen?
I cried myself to sleep that night, grateful no one disturbed me.
