《The ThickGirl and The Badboy》Chapter 14:Chicken Runner

' You asshole.' I thought as Bryson raced past me, his arms behind him.
His form was really bad, like really really bad.
Right now he was running like a chicken..
Litterally, those little chicken legs of him really can run.
He wasn't even pumping his arms, hand to ear pocket like every runner should when they're sprinting, no this boy was running with his arms pointing straight behind him.
I thought I was doing good, but considering Bryson the little chicken runner was speeding past me, I was going straight downhill.Literally.
I freaking forgot there was a bump along the road, hills usually speeded up my pace but all I was feeling was winded out.
Exghaustment.
I wanted to laugh at Bryson's running, but I couldn't.
'What is going on with me?' I thought as I sprinted the last few yards.
Soon, my legs started giving up, and instead of decelerating I stopped at the finish line.
"Yeah baby, who's the cheetah now ?!" Bryson yelled, loud enough for the whole world to hear.
I paced around alittle and manadged to say ,"Yeah yeah, you just got lucky."
I seriously hope he doesn't give me a punishment, we didn't even shake on it, so it doesn't even matter...right?
"Boy do I have a gift for the looser, aka you, Thunderthighs, Koleen Pares." He says rubbing it in my face.
"Can you not? It was already bad enough that you beat me." I grunted.
He smirked.
"I beat your ass real good.So looser gets a punishment."
"But we didn't even shake on it!" I screamed, ny hands up in the air.
"We didn't have to."
"Uh, Yes. We did."
"ThunderThighs-"
"Stop calling me that!"
He ignored me.
"- We both said bet as we agreed on and looser always gets a punishment, and you're the looser..." He said, then walked towards me provocatively, with a mischievous smile plastered on his face.
My eyes shot daggers at him, my heart racing inside my ribcage, while my fists were clenched.
He got so close, I could smell the little hint of Downy drowned in all the nasty icky sweat.
He then caressed my face with his icky hands, his face close to mine.
I blurted out, "I am not gonna have sex with you."
He backed away from me looking at me confused.
" Who said anything about sex?"
"Isn't that what you were gonna say? Something sexual?"
"No."
"Oh."
Well now this is awkward.
"Sorry.." I mummbled so quietly I didn't even know if he heard, then started walking to the car first to avoid the embarrassment.
"I'll go get the car, you'll wait here." He tells me jogging ahead.
"I don't want to stay here by myself!" I call after him.
My anxiety took over, I didn't know when he'd come back or what would happen to me.

'What if he just leaves me here?'
Koleen calm down, everything is gonna be allright..
"Screw this, I'm not staying here." I said jogging too.

"Principal Stevens may I please have the privilege back to compete in Cross Country?" I pleaded him with my hands inter-whined.
Instead of going to my third period and deal with Mr.Winner, I asked for a chance to talk to our principal.
It's only been a little while, but my mind was going crazy and anxious to be competing.
Maybe that's why I lost to Anders yesterday.
"I am sorry Miss.Pares, but I cannot reasure that to you. You still have 1-2 weeks left of your punishment. I cannot do that." He replied his hands closed together properly.
"But Mr.Stevens the team is bound to loose against our rival without me! And Track is almost coming, you don't want me to be out of shape do you?"
His thin lips curled into a smile, " Nice try Miss.Pares. Unless Sean wants to postpone your punishment, there is nothing I can do."
"But who cares what Sean thinks? This is about the school's Athletic Points!"
"But Sean's parents are in the school billboard. What would his parents think if word got to them?"
I was about to say something, but immediately closed my mouth. It was no use.
Picking up my backpack, and slamming the door shut, I angrily stomped out of there.
'Dumb bitch.'
"I need a run." I angrily murmured to myself, only to be stopped by someone.
I looked up, only to be disappointed.
"Hey loser, where were you in class today? Were you too upset of losing yesterday that you couldn't face me?"
I looked away and focused on the trash can behind him pretending it's him and replied, "I gotta go to fourth period." I was about to walk past him, until he gripped my arm again.
"Hey!" I yelled at him, my arm still in his.
"Come to my baseball practice." He demanded, then let me go.
We stared at each other for a minute, me looking at him as if he grew horns. Then walked away from him.
I'm sure his punishment was to embarrass me in front of his teammates.
It was bad enough I had to do Inch Worms across the whole gym for the rest of class, while everyone went to the weight room.
'Ugh this is just great' I pitied myself. I never ever thought I'd ever get punished, because I was always a good athlete.
'It was all his fault.'
'Stupid Bryson. Making me late.'
'Stupid Sean too.'
"Well, well, well. Look who's finally getting punished for her behavior. Wait till I tell Sean." I hear Kimberly's disgusting snake voice.
What was she even doing in our athletic period?

I painfully got up, my back and hands were throbbing, then argued, " Why dont you stay out of people's damnn business, and mind your own."
Her reaction wasn't offended or even angry. She smirked instead, her pink sticky icky lipgloss shinning with pride, as well as her manicured bird hand proudly on her waist, "I'd watch my words if I were you, because me and Sean are this close-" She emphazised how close they were with her fingers, then continued, "-to being together. And I can get him to do whatever I want. Especially if it comes to you." She pirked one of her eyebrows up, smiling at me.
My mouth dropped open, as she proudly walked away satisfied.
This couldn't be happening. My worst enemies cannot be dating. They'd mess up my life double times.
"Leen! I don't see you working! Get back to inch worms!" The coach yelled at me, making me immediately get down again.

Having Spanish as my last period only made the class seem so long. I didn't mind the class, it was just hurting my brain having to translate essays.
Whenever the final bell rang, I quickly got out to exit the boring environment. Not before going to my locker first.
As I closed my locker, a demon figure appeared near it.
"What do you want?" I asked annoyed wanting to go home.
"Let's go." Bryson ordered.
I studied him, realizing he was in one of his practice uniforms.
He didn't look too bad for some reason.
Pretty cute if you ask me.
It was something about boys in their sport clothes that made them more attractive to me.
I looked back into his brown eyes, " I'm not going anywhere with you."
He sighed, licking the inside of his mouth, while his eyes drifted to the walls then back to me.
"I said let's go." He simply answers.
I noticed his foot was moving viciously, so he must be in a hurry.
"No." I answered.
He closed his eyes then placed them on mine, "ThunderThighs, please."
"Bryson I don't have time for this! I have other things to do!"
"Things like spending the day at the gym?!" He shot back.
Ouch, that stung. It stung becaus it was true. The gym was the only place I wasted most of my gas money on, but I couldn't help it.
"Where are you taking me?" I asked.
"My baseball practice, you need to loosen up a bit."
"Me?!"
He pulled me to him and walked us to the driveway.
"What about my car?" I asked.
"We'll worry about that later."
"I don't think I trust that...." I replied.
This was crazy, he was crazy, I was going crazy.
There was no way I was going into that baseball field, it was sprinkled with boys, and not the good kind.
"But there's boys there. " I stated.
"Awe," Bryson said, turning the car on and driving out of the school's parking lot, "Is lil ThunderThighs scared of a bunch of stinky boys?" He cooed.
I crossed my arms over my chest stubbornly, "No! I just...I don't want them to say rude stuff to me."
"ThunderThighs, as long as you're with me, trust me, they won't say shit." He reasured me.
"Can we get some food first at least."
"We can't eat before practice, are you crazy?"
"Ugh! You suck!" I groaned.
¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤
"No, I don't want to!"
"Thunderthighs Come on! You promised!"
"No! I'm not gonna get out!"
"You're making this difficult than it already is, now get your ass out of the car!" He yelled.
"But I'm in leggings and a t-shirt!" I complained.
I could see the boys popping out like popcorn now, and my stomach did a triple back flip at the sight of it.
"Shit, it doesn't matter ThunderThighs."
Stubbornly, I got out and followed him close, walking into the baseball field.
I was sure he wouldn't let it go, and we'd be arguing all afternoon.
Maybe after one game he'll let me go.
"Hey Anders, what you got there?" A team mate nodded towards me.
"None of your fucking buisness Tim." Bryson answered impressively.
For some reason, I felt like he'd call him me his girl. I was glad he didn't.
"You're taking field." Tim then said, irritated now.
"K."
Once Bryce got his equipment, he strolled to the benches.
"This is where you'll be watching my ass win in the mean time, got it?" He told me, his foot tapping on the sandy floor.
"Okay, good luck." I tried to say nicely but instead coming out sarcastic.
He ran into the field taking his position, whilst the rest did as well.
The pitcher tossed the ball up and down, smirking at Bryson.
I've never been to a baseball game, so it was pretty interesting to see.
Bryson focused on the ball, clenching his bat.
I'm not even gonna lie, even though all the boys in our baseball team are freaking jerks, they still look good in their uniform.
Boys and their freaking uniforms.
I wonder how Bryson looked in his.
He probably looked cute.
The pitcher thrusted the ball with full force, shooting as fast as a lazer towards Bryson, and he amazingly hit it.
"Yeah! Go Chicken Runner! Go! Go!" His teamates encouraged him.
"Chicken Runner?!" I laughed out loud.
That's exactly what I called him the other day.
"Yeah! Let's hear it for our boy!" The boys all cheered.
