《Learning to be the Luna (Completed)》Trouble in paradise

Esmarelda wasn't kidding when she said we were having tea. We just sat in the middle of the woods, drinking tea, and talking about what I knew of my mother and father. I told her everything, from the witches curse to my powers developing. When I was younger, I was always able to do strange things, but I thought nothing of it. The first time I ever really experienced my power was when I turned 16.

Some kid at school said something about my mother's death, and I just got so angry. I wanted to punch him so badly, and as I was thinking of all the ways I could hurt him, the book on my desk flew and hit him smack in the head. I was shocked, and so was he. He wasn't really hurt, but I was shaken to the core. I got up immediately and bolted all the way home from school. When I told my dad what happened, that's when he told me everything.

After telling Esmarelda all this she was deep in thought. "So you believe you have the telekinesis power also?" She asked me. "I'm not sure, I've never done anything like that since then," I stated. She stood up from our picnic blanket, and motioned for me to do the same. When I stood up she said, "try to move the teapot." I looked at her like she was crazy, but she remained expressionless.

I gathered up all my strength, and focused on the teapot rising in the air. Nothing happened... I was getting frustrated, why isn't it working? "Remember how you felt that day, when the boy said those things to you. Remember the pain..." Esmarelda whispered, and suddenly, I was angry all over again.

I felt tears prickle in my eyes, and thought of that horrible witch that cursed my mom... my mom, I missed her so much. I could feel my powers boiling as I felt all the pain that could never be erased. I couldn't focus on the teapot, I could only focus on my hatred. The whole picnic blanket went flying across the hill smashing into a tree, and I collapsed on the ground exhausted.

"Alright we're gonna have to work on that, but I think that's enough for today," Esmeralda said extending her hand to me. "Yeah, I think so too," I said standing up and wiping my tears away. "If you learn to control that anger and pain, you can be unstoppable," Esmarelda said walking with me.

After a few moments our path parted into two paths, and Esmarelda turned to me, "same time tomorrow," and left me walking alone to the pack house.

The pack house wasn't far from where we were training, but the walk was still 10 minutes for me considering I didn't have wolf speed. About 2 minutes after Esmarelda parted from me, I began to smell something foul. It was the most God aweful smell imaginable. I wonder where it's coming from.

Suddenly, two horrendous looking wolves began circling me. Blood was mangled into their matted furs, and although not the biggest wolves I've seen, they were absolutely terrifying. I was beginning to panic as they got closer, growling viciously. What do I do?!?

I had to defend myself! There's no way I went through all the struggles of my life to be killed by some worthless rogues. I closed my eyes and concentrated, picturing Blake's bedroom, in vivid detail. Please work, I thought. This is my only chance. I opened my eyes to see myself in Blake's room, staring at an astonished Blake sitting on our bed.

"Sarah?!? What the actual fuck??? How did you do that?" I can't believe that worked! Oh my god, I almost just died! "Umm I think I just teleported..."

"You can do that?" Blake questioned still amazed at my presence. "Yeah, I guess so. But that's not important right now, I think we have a slight rogue problem."

"What do you mean, a rogue problem? We haven't had rogues on our land for years, and even when they came, it was just to pass through." He said. "Well the ones that I just encountered were definitely not just passing through, they were on the hunt," I stated

Blake growled, "you encountered rogues? Where, I will go kill them myself. Who do they think they are." I sighed, "Blake, we have to find out what they want. They circled me like I was dinner. Maybe they know something about me or us. It can't be a coincidence that now they are coming here after steering clear for years." Wow that explanation even impressed me.

"You're right, it is very odd, I'm beginning to think that's just the word that will describe our lives."
