"Doctor Shepherd?" Derek heard a voice and he turned around
"Mister Clark? Can I help you?"
"You pulled the plug after doctor Webber told you to"
"Mister Clark, I'm sorry but I did what I have to do" Derek said as he tried to walk further with Meredith
"Doctor Shepherd, you killed the only person I had, I'm lost!" Gary Clark shouted
"Mer, please go" He said rubbing her belly
"No, Derek. You did nothing wrong. Excuse me mister Clark but me and doctor Shepherd have work to do" Meredith said as she grabbed Derek's hand
Meredith and Derek started to walk off feeling bad for Gary Clark but knowing Derek made no mistakes
As they walked to the pit Meredith stopped in her tracks.
"Mer? Are you okay?" Derek asked worried
"Just our baby that's kicking me like crazy" Meredith said as her fingers were tapping on her belly
"Hey, baby girl. You better be a little gentle with mommy" Derek whispered
...
Later that day, Meredith was walking around in the hospital. She was searching for Derek as she stepped into the elevator, showing Gary Clark again. As she tried to step away he took out a gun and pointed it at her "Get in" He said. Meredith did what he asked and she stepped in the elevator. The elevator went up as he started talking "I need to find doctor Shepherd, doctor Webber and doctor Nelson"
"I.. I don't know what's going on in your head, mister Clark but there are people who can help you. You can ta-"
"Help me? Those doctors should have helped my wife and now it's too late!" Gary Clark yelled as the elevator stopped at the second floor. Doctor Percy walked in and once the doors closed Gary Clark asked him if he knew where one of the 3 doctors where. When Doctor Percy replied "Can't you as a nurse?" Gary shoot him in front of Meredith. Leaving her freaking out as she clamped her hands around her belly

"You? He.. Oh my god" Meredith gasped
"Quiet, lead me around" He said as he lead Meredith out of the elevator
"No! You can't kill my husband!" She protested
"You'll help me find him and then I won't shoot innocent people"
"Please, no! We're expecting a baby girl, her name is Bella. I'm six and a half months along, she kicks me a lot but she keeps quiet during surgeries. Derek build us a house and then we.. I had fertility issues. We did everything, please don't take that away. Please don't hurt all these people. No one deserved what happened with your wife but she signed this papers. There was nothing they could do without getting sued." She begged him
In the meanwhile the hospital was starting up their lockdown to find the person who shot doctor Percy.
"Please.. We're going in lockdown. I can tell the police that you treated me well"
"Doctor Shepherd.. I.. I need to do this for my wife"
"You don't, you really don't have to do this!" She begged, tears streaming down her face.
"Doctor Shepherd, we're going in a lockdown" Reed yelled as she ran by
Gary pointed his gun at her and shot her, he was doubting what to do with Meredith who fell on the ground after a heavy contraction, caused by the shock of Gary shooting someone else
"Get up!" He yelled at her as doctor Nelson crossed their way, Meredith was slowly getting up clenching her belly
"Doctor Shepherd, sir. You need to get away. It's not safe here" Nelson said
"Doctor Nelson"
"Mister Cark?"
Meredith saw this as an opportunity to sneak away.
She hurried herself tough the hallways of the hospital hoping she would walk into Derek as another contraction hits her making her lean against the wall

"Bella, baby. Not now, please" She whispered crying in silence
She pushed herself to keep walking as she crossed Addison and Mark transferring a patient
"Mer? What are you doing here?" Addison asked as she hurried herself to Meredith
"I.. Gary Clark.. He.. He shot Reed and Percy! He's searching for Derek.. I.. Addi!" She sobbed
"Mer, we need to get out of here" Addison said
"No! I need to find Derek! He wants to kill Derek for unplugging his wife I- AAH" She was saying before another contraction hit her
"Mer? Are you having contractions?" Addi said worried, making Mark come closer as April Kepner and Teddy Altman kept walking with their patient to the exit
"I.. no, just kicking and no! I need to find Derek!"
"Mer, you and Bella need to get out of here, I'll find Derek" Mark offered
"AAH!" Meredith screamed again as her legs gave out but Mark was in time to catch her
Addison looked at Mark, worried about their friend. "Mer"
"Mer?" Derek screamed as he run towards them
"Derek?" She screamed back before she felt another stabbing in her stomach
"Mer, we need you to get you out of here, now!" Addison said
"Mer? Are you okay?" Derek got scared "Mer? You're bleeding? Did you get shot?" Derek asked but Meredith was failing to stay conscious
"Mer? Meredith!" Addison repeater her name "We need to get her out of here!"
"There's a damn shooter!" Derek said
"We know! But I'm scared she's having a placental abruption" Addison said
"Fuck" Derek yelled before he lifted Meredith into his arms as they started to run towards the exit
They got closer and closer to the exit, trying to be as fast as possible without making reckless decisions with could let them right into the shooter
They finally reached the doors and ran out before some police officers started yelling at them to show their hands
"Mer! It's Meredith Grey, she's 6 and a half months pregnant, help her" Derek yelled as Bailey, Richard, Arizona and Callie ran over to them
"Okay, let's get her to Mercy West, now!" Arizona yelled as they loaded her into one of the ambulances. Everyone except Richard and Callie got in
On the way to the hospital she slipped in and out of consciousness as all doctors were hoping to get there as fast as possible. They needed to get Bella out as soon as possible
"Addi.. It's way too early for Bella" Derek whispered
"I know it's early Derek, but trust me, we'll do everything we can. They will take care of this and I'll take care of Mer and this little one together with Bailey and Arizona, okay?"
Derek nodded before grabbing Meredith's hand "Come on, Mer"
