The next morning Derek came by with the kids to see Meredith. He barely slept because Ellis got concerned and threw a fit that led into heavy cramps again
He was now carrying the exhausted girl in his arms as he held Bailey's hand when they made their way to the floor Meredith was on
"Okay so if we go in and mommy's still asleep, you guys need to be quiet, okay? Mommy really needs her rest" Derek warned them
"Kay d-addy" Ellis whispered as her head was still resting on his chest.
Derek opened the door a bit and revealed a waking up Meredith
"Derek?" She whispered as she rubbed her eyes
"Yeah, I brought the kids" He whispered back "Can we come in?"
"M-ommy!" Ellis yelled, wiggling in Derek's grip, the other 2 kids running in when they heard Meredith's voice
"Of course" She laughed
Derek helped the kids on Meredith's bed and they immediately started to hug their mother
"I missed you all so so much" Meredith said
"M-ommy b-oo b-oo?" Ellis asked innocent "M-ommy, kay?"
"I'm okay, Ellie Bell. I just didn't feel so good yesterday but I'm all better" Meredith smiled
They talked for a while until Meredith had to use the bathroom
"I'll be back in a minute" Meredith said and slowly got up out of the bed, grabbing her IV pole. She still felt dizzy and needed the support but she didn't want to tell Derek because he would be worried again.
She slowly made her way to the toilet and did what she had to do before washing her hands. As the water was running she felt dizzy. Even dizzier than before. She wanted to yell for Derek's help but it was too late.
The only thing she could see was black and collapsed on the ground. In the room next door, Derek was chatting away with his kids when he thought Meredith was taking a long time so he got up and knocked on the door. He could hear the water running but it didn't stop after a couple of minutes so he opened the door, revealing a lifeless Meredith laying on the ground.

"Mer? Meredith!" He yelled as he ran towards her before trying to shake her awake
"ZoZo, hit the nurse button and make sure you and your siblings stay there" He yelled and Zola did what was asked
"Daddy? Is everything okay?" Bailey asked as nurses ran into the room
"Derek, out and take the kids with you" Miranda said as she ran into the room
Derek did what Bailey asked and quickly grabbed the kids and waited in the hallway
"M-ommy" Ellis started sobbing
"Mommy is okay, the doctors are taking care of her" Derek told his daughter that was clearly getting stressed
"N-oo! L- L.. N-ot! L-ie!" Ellis sobbed and started to overstretch her back again
"Ellie, listen. I promise that mommy will be fine" Derek cuddled Ellis closer in his arms
"W-ant m-ommy" She whimpered
"Ellie, mommy will be okay!" Bailey said as he held her hand
"B-ayyhh B-ahh" Ellis only kept panicking more
"Zola, can you hand me Ellie's bag and give the box with her meds, please?"
Zola nodded and got them out
"Here, Ellie. Take these" Derek said and placed the pills in her mouth
"Here, Ellie" Bailey handed her his bottle of water
The little girl took the pills and as minutes passed by, her body became limp in Derek's arms
"Can we see mommy?" Bailey asked after a bit
"I'll go see if they have some news" Derek said as he stood up, Ellis till resting in his arms
Derek made his way to Meredith's room where a few doctors were talking to her
"Mer? What happened?" Derek quickly asked as he entered the room
"I'm okay, Derek. I was a bit dizzy" Meredith said
"I want a head CT to make sure you didn't hurt your head" Amelia said as she walked towards Derek

"Der, her blood pressure was way too high again. I have a feeling that Hunt and Bailey wanna keep her overnight again to let it drop again" Amelia said after she pulled him to the hallway"
"I don't know if she wants to.." He sighed as Ellis stirred a bit in his arms
"Derek, she'll need to take some time off and rest" Amelia said
"Alex and I can monitor her at home. She'll calm down once she's home with the kids" Derek told her
"I wanna help too but Derek, it would be best if she stays here" Amelia told her
"I know but I feel like being here stresses her out even more" Derek told her
Amelia nodded and stayed silent
"She's okay. We're bringing her to CT" Owen said as he walked out of the room
Derek nodded
"I wanna keep her overnight" Bailey said as she walked out after Hunt
"No. I'm taking her home if her scans are clear. Being here stresses her out even more, we don't need that" Derek said with an angry look
Bailey nodded. Disappointment projected on her face. She felt guilty
"Now if you don't mind, I'm gonna bring my 3 kids to my office so they can nap" Derek said
"I'll watch them so you can go see Meredith" Amelia offered
"Thanks Amy" Derek smiled and the two of them walked away
"Derek, to be honest I don't think it's the best idea to take her home"
"Amy, I know. But she's getting an IV here and rest. We can do that at home too. I'm grabbing a few IV's to keep her hydrated and we'll work on getting her blood pressure to a better level" Derek said. He was convinced to take Meredith home

Talius
The two moons of Talius gleam with a hypnotic glow; Araius with the color of a cooling blue, and Kranos beaming in a gentle orange. Arairus obscures Kranos with his enormous celestial body, letting Kranos peek out only halfway. This means that it's the month of Gantelos, the season of cold that hovers over Talius for half a year. It also notifies the residence of this planet that the dreadful Fuune will rise from the deep snow, deep from beneath the crust every night and feast on the humans who inhabit this tundra-infested world.
