BENEFITS — CHAPTER SIXTEEN!
were interesting would be an understatement.
They spent most of their days together... just not in the ways they'd done as children. As it turns out, [Y/N]'s favour could also be described as a summer fling.
A key part of the agreement was that they weren't supposed to catch any feelings. I guess Peter Parker forgot.
[Y/N] wanted to get good at sex so that when the right guy came along, she'd know what to do with him. Peter didn't really care about impressing other girls, the only girl he saw was [Y/N] — if only she realised.
Another part of the agreement was that once summer was over, so was their fling.
Peter felt himself going a little bit crazy with all the sneaking around and lying he had to do. Not only was he sneaking out to see [Y/N] all the time but he was still Spider-Man.
He wasn't sure which one he'd done more. Stopped more crime or slept with [Y/N].
He could feel his heart sink as he flopped down on the bed next to [Y/N] on the last day of summer. "That was..."
"Amazing?" [Y/N] suggested.
Peter nodded. Both their chests rose and fell in sync. "Round two?" He suggested, expecting her to say no.
Before Peter could take another breathe, [Y/N]'s naked body was on top of his. A pleasure filled groaned escaped from his lips as their lips met. He had no idea how he was going to give this up.
[Y/N] was practically glowing as she walked to the train station the next day. Her smile only grew once she read the text she'd just received.
Can't wait to see you.
She felt her heart swell with excitement. They'd been talking all summer and now she was finally going to see him. After all her her practice with Peter, she felt ready.

She was a sophomore now. She was on a whole new level.
"Hey stranger," Peter said as she sat down next to him on the crowded train. He'd kindly saved her a seat.
[Y/N] rolled her eyes at his obvious meme reference, "you know that video creeps me out." She whined, placing her bag on the floor in front of her — earning a glare from the guy standing in front of her.
"Why do you think I always quote it?" He asked jokingly, hitting her shoulder with his own.
[Y/N] rolled her eyes.
A few seconds later, her phone buzzed.
I'll see you there ❤️
Peter frowned as he read the text over her shoulder. "Who's that?"
[Y/N] shut her phone off and shrugged. "Nobody."
Peter sighed. He knew for a fact that it was nobody.
"Welcome back, Midtown Science and Technology! I hope you're all well rested and ready to start the school year." Betty Brant said, holding her script up to read.
The curly haired Jason Ionello sighed from beside her, "I know I'm not."
Betty elbowed him in the ribs. "Stick to the script," she hissed.
Peter couldn't help but chuckle to himself at them. Though they didn't mean to, Betty and Jason's news reports always made him laugh.
He squeezed through the boards of people gathered around the halls as they caught up. He couldn't help but admire some of the cool science projects he saw his peers carrying. "You, my office now." He heard Principal Morita say to a student who was flying his drone in the halls.
Finally, Peter reached his cream coloured locker. A group of cheerleaders were gathered at a neighbour locker, gossiping. Peter ignored them as he unlocked his own locker.
"Join me and together... we'll build my new LEGO Deathstar." A voice said, imitating Emperor Palpatine.

Peter spun around excitedly to face Ned. He heard the cheerleaders call them lame but he didn't care. "What? No way, that's awesome. How many pieces?" He asked.
Ned grinned, "Three thousand eight hundred and three."
Peter's eyes widened, "that's insane!"
"I know," Ned nodded excitedly, moving a piece of his dark hair out of his face. "You want to build it tonight? I'm sure [Y/N] would want to join as well—"
Peter shook his head, sighing, "I can't tonight. I've got the Stark—"
Ned groaned, "mm-hmm. Stark Internship."
Peter gave him an apologetic look, "yeah, exactly."
Having picked up his textbooks, Peter starts to walk down the hallway with his best friend. "Always got that internship," Ned sighed.
"Yeah well, hopefully, soon it'll lead to a real job with them." Peter explained, he still felt bad about blowing Ned off. It felt like that was all he did during the summer.
"That would be so sweet."
"Right?"
Ned sighed wistfully, "He'd be all, "Good job on those spreadsheets, Peter. Here's a gold coin.""
Peter gave him a bemused smile and Ned shrugged, "I don't know how jobs work." Ned defended.
Peter let out a small laugh, "thats exactly how they work."
"Oh." Ned grinned before going back to the topic of LEGO. "I'll knock out the basic bones of the Death Star at my place. And, and then I'll come by afterwards..."
Peters gaze drifted to [Y/N]. She was walking down the hall towards their first class with Michelle. He couldn't help but feel mesmerised by her. The way she smiled. The way her hair looked when she wore it like that. Just her. He could never get sick of looking at her.
"...because for the most part, the difficult thing is the base of it. The top half we can knock out in two hours, tops."
"Yeah, that'd be great." Peter said, though he had not listened to a word Ned had said.
Peters eyes widened as Harry Osborn approached [Y/N]. Since when did they talk?
His eyes narrowed when he noticed Harry's hands on her. His blood boiled as he saw how close they were standing. His vision turned red when Harry leant in and whispered something into her ear, causing her to blush.
Before Peter could do anything, the bell rang.

Greg Veder vs The World
The average person can easily understand that when it comes to living in a villain-infested, crime-filled city like Brockton Bay, treating life like a game can get you killed. It's kind of ironic, then, that Greg Veder has always been far more serious about games than he ever has about life. (Worm/The Gamer AU)

Saga of the Great Wolf
In the Dragon Seal Universe, humans worship the Celestial Court of the Dragon Gods. As per the edicts of the Celestial Court, humans Cultivate the Dao to seek strength and rise above their common roots. If they rise to one day serve the Dragon Gods directly, they have the chance to be initiated into the Greater Secrets of the Daos, which can allow them to live for millions of years. Coalescence, the Path to Transcendence, is considered a Heretical Art of the Demonic War Masters, whose evil empire was said to have been overthrown hundreds of millennia in the past by the Celestial Court. Wolves, a species that are said to have once served the War Masters, are listed by the Temple of the Celestial Court as one of the most corrupt of Demonic Beasts. They are killed on sight. Surrounded by the Demonic Wildlands and protected by the ancient Watch Towers, a number of human nations and empires thrive atop the Great Plateau. Cultivators rule over the general populace and the Temple of the Celestial Court rules over the Cultivators. Anyone caught practicing Coalescence is sentenced to death by torture. I am half human and half Wolf. Since I am already under a death sentence for my Bloodline, there is nothing to stop me from setting out on the Path of Coalescence. As I promised my mother, I will grow strong. When I am strong enough, I will destroy the Dragons and Dragon Gods. I will set this world, once known as Sirius, free from their chains. Re:Mento Mori
When Ryuji, a disgruntled salaryman, is supposed to reach an unfortunate end, he is instead thrust into a new world, inhabiting a body that isn't his own. Forced into a world filled with strife and death, can he claim freedom and happiness? Or will his turbulent new life only lead to suffering and pain? As with every time-loop story written by an amateur author, this is heavily inspired by Re:Zero. If I had to explain my book, I would say imagine Re:Zero, but the main character can actually fight people instead of just getting merked every time he meets someone with a weapon. The themes of this story are dark, so be forewarned. This is my first story so keep that in mind while reading it.
