The lights on the buildings of Tokyo sparkled and shined bright in the dark night. The streets were busy as always, people walked and minded their own business while crossing the road or side roads.

As usual the city was lively.

And in the said lively city, there walked a certain girl in a park who caught several attentions from both genders as she passed by.

She wore stylish yet simple clothes, and she looked rather elegant. Her [h/c] [h/c] bounced and swayed lightly with each step she took. Her [e/c] only held boredom in it and her face was blank but due to how her charisma oozed out plus of how elegant she looked, there were just those people who couldn't help but stare or gawk at her.

She was probably a college student, a freshman at that who's popular in school and is on her way home after hanging out.

But in truth, she's just a normal girl...who is kind of still popular in school because of her looks. She likes to watch anime, read shonen jumps or mangas, webtoon, manhwas, etc.

She likes fictional characters and even claims that she's married to not only one...but a lot. Male or female as long as they catches her attention or is her type, or whatever particular reason she has.

[F/n] [L/n], 19 years old. A young adult who can't wait to get home to read the latest shonen jump she bought right after school thanks to the allowance she's been saving.

Tokyo revengers, volume 9. It hasn't been that long since she's got herself put in that fandom which was all thanks to a friend of hers who got her in along the ride.

'Calm down my heart.' She said to herself with a subtle smile. 'Don't cause any problems, especially to me today.'

[Y/n] let out a light hum when she saw a beautiful butterfly pass by. It looked like it was sparkling or something that she couldn't help but follow it as if she was under a spell just after gazing at it.

When she followed it, she went inside the forest part of the park without any questions...which was quite weird because it was indeed just a butterfly.

Who knows what'll happen to her once she goes into a place with probably no people in it..

[Y/n] walked for about a minute or two, then there she saw an enchanting small lake which felt she being drawn to as she continued to look at it.

"Did they build this place and plan to show it someday..?" She mumbled, completely in awe as she took a step closer. "Does this have some kind of chemical in it? It's sparkling so beautifully.."

The female raised her head to look up at the bright moon. "Maybe it's your doing?" She asked which of course the moon didn't reply as there was only nothing but silence there.

[Y/n] scanned the area and the more she look at the place, she can't help but think that it was just so breath taking, so ethereal.

Almost forgetting on how she discovered the place, the butterfly she saw not too long ago flew in front of her and went towards the lake.

She shouldn't have taken that one more step.

Now she was now struggling in the water with a fast beating heart. That was already bad considering she does have a heart disease...

'Is this how I die?' Was she asked herself as she continued to move her feet and try to resurface so desperately for air.

And so she could live another day.

'I'm scared.'

Underneath, her feet kicked and kicked, but to no avail, sadly. She still continued to sink down slowly as mixed emotions were evident in her eyes. Fear, anger, and sadness.

'Mom...Akio.' The two faces of her family came in mind. She misses them both. She wants to be in her mother's warm embrace...and make fun of Akio, tease him, bicker, fight with him just like how siblings do.

'I don't wanna die.'

With her last plead, the [h/c] girl and the last thing she saw was the bright shining moon from above before being pulled out of the water.

She gasped for air and wondered why it was suddenly bright. She looked up and saw the bright blue sky as well as the scorching sun.

'Wasn't it just nighttime..?'

She coughs and wheezes as she continued to gasp for air and while she was busy catching her breath, there stood three boys and a girl.

"Hey, you alright?"

Confused, [Y/n] looked up and saw a black haired boy who's hair and clothes was wet, and next to him was boy with feminine features because of how long his eyes lashes and how pretty his eyes was, his hair was in a buzz cut.

And next to him was girl who has the same features as the previous boy, but the difference was the height as she was a bit shorter and her hair was long, styled in a bun with a clip on her bangs which was on the side.

Lastly, another boy who's hair was blonde and clothes wet like the black haired kid. He looked at the [h/c] female with his dark eyes, no worry or concern nor any type of emotion but boredom in it unlike his other three friends.

It seems like the blonde and black haired kid both helped her escape death.

'Where did this kids come from?' She asked herself while trying to remove some thick strands of her [h/c] away from her face.

"I'm...fine." The shaking girl stood up with wobbling legs. "Thanks for saving..." She said while squeezing the water out of her hair and clothes with her small...hands?

[Y/n]'s eyes widen as she looked at her arms and hands. Now that she thinks about, she feels small while her surroundings seemed big.

"I-I'm sorry but I'm in a hurry now!" She exclaimed as she started to run. "I'll look for you guys later and repay you, I promise!"

"Do you think she'll keep her promise?" The blonde boy asked after turning her head to the direction of his friends. "If she does, what'll you ask for? I'll probably ask for tons of dorayaki or taiyaki!"

"Mikey..." Little Keisuke deadpans along with the others. "That's what concerns you...?"

"I wonder if that girl's alright." Senju mumbled with a little pout. "She looked really scared and she was shaking so bad."

"She's fine. She got up and run without even properly thanking Mikey or Baji." Says her older brother, Haruchiyo.

Mikey grins as he announces, "If she doesn't keep her promise, we'll look for her."

Running's bad for her. She can't do any strenous activities as he parents and doctors told her ever since childhood...

Yet how come she was running without any difficulties now? Her heart was beating fast yet she wasn't feeling any chest pains. Not that she was complaining but it was just...so weird.

"I'm home!" She shouted as soon as she arrived and burst open the door to where she lived then dashed to the bathroom to look at herself.

'Why am in back to being a kid?!' Her breathing became even more ragged as nothing made sense to her while she continued to stare at her reflection.

"I look like 7...What the hell is this? How is this possible..What the hell's happening..." she sits down on the tiled floor and saw the door open, revealing her mom who looked a bit younger than the last time she remembered.

"Oh, dear!" Youko exclaimed, her eye wide as rushed to her daughter's side with worry. "What happened to you?"

[Y/n] looked at her mother with pursed lips. "I don't know...I don't..know." She hugged the older woman tightly, her eyes glassy due to the tears building up as she remembered what happened and how scared she was in the water.

'I almost died, mom.' Was she wanted to say as she felt negative emotions. 'Some kids helped me, and when I came to it...I'm back to being a kid.'

"...I'm alright." [Y/n] closed her eyes and bask in her mother's warmth, feeling safe that she started to feel drowsy.

"Let's get you changed sweetie." Youko hummed gently after picking her small daughter up. She walked upstairs and changed her daughter's clothes just like she said.

"Mom...where's Akio?" The little girl asked, now in her new clothes.

"Akio?" Youko repeats the name, obviously confused as she tilted her head to the side. Her response made the girl's heart drop.

"Who's that? A friend of yours?"

"I'm home!" Hiroshi announced and picked [Y/n] up in his arms, a bright smile on his handsome face. "Did my princess miss me?"

The little [Y/n], Not knowing how to exactly feel right after she heard her mother's question on who's her little brother, she just felt...overwhelmed, especially by the sight of her supposed dead father.

"Yeah, I missed you." She replied with a pleasant smile and hugged the man before he could see the melancholy in her eyes or the tears that was building up in it.

Then the next day arrived with a blink of an eye.

"Those kids were undeniably familiar." [Y/n] mumbled as she walked around the streets, hoping to run into those kids from yesterday.

She looked around and scanned the streets, stores, and places that wasn't there or looked different as she knows in her time. It was cool but weird at the same.

"Ah, It's you!" Exclaimed the familiar voice from yesterday. [Y/n] turned around with a smile, glad that she finally saw her savior or saviors.

"Sorry about yesterday, I just freaked out." She admitted in a beaming smile, acting all innocent and harmless.

"I'm [F/n] [L/n], but call me [Y/n] or however you prefer and you boys are..?" She introduces herself quite elegantly due to her mother and grandmother's influence.

The two boys stared at her. Her introduction seemed formal and that made her mature..

"K-Keisuke Baji, but you can also call me Edward since that's my english name." The black haired boy first replied. He was a bit stiff but he looked cute in the [h/c] girl's eyes. "Nice to m-meet you."

"I'm Mikey." The blonde boy next answered, face blank as he adds, "And I want dorayaki as payment...you're keeping your promise right?"

[Y/n] blinks her eyes and slowly nods her head. "Yeah, of course..." she answered while Keisuke stared in disbelief at his friend.

Well, what was he expecting? It's Mikey he's talking about here...

"...That's his english name. His real name is Manjiro Sano but he likes to be called Mikey." Keisuke tells the girl while glancing at his friends.

"...Huh?" She let out with blinking eyes as she stared at them with an incredulous expression which confused the two boys.

"TR?!"

Mikey tilts his head to the side, seemingly curious about what the girl blurted out and why has that look on her face. Shocked but astonished at the same time.

"Hey," the blonde kid called out which made [Y/n] flinch and realize what she just said out loud. She took a step back as Mikey became a bit close to her.

"What's TR?"

And that mark the start of [Y/n]'s journey in one of her favorite fictional story.

Oh, if only she knew beforehand what was in stored for her, but she didn't.

Because if she knew, then she wouldn't have followed that butterfly no matter how beautiful or alluring it was.

If only she had the ability to know the future...

Somewhere, a place where there's only nothing but black – darkness, there laid a little girl on the ground.

Her eyes were closed as she stayed still. she mumbled.

She sits up, her eyes now open which revealed the color of it which was [e/c].

She continued to speak and tell those words to particularly no one as she was alone. She quietly said, her expression cold.

she then whispered under her breath, she smiled determinedly with eyes that seemed to sparkle.

"So was that lake some kind of a portal?"

[Y/n] mumbles to herself with a yawn escaping her lips as she walks in her uniform to school. It was Monday after all...sadly.

"Because of that, I can shift between my world to here..?" As the female was busy gathering her thoughts, she felt a hand pull her to the side.

A sense of deja vu.

"What are you mumbling about?" A voice asked with a small sigh. "I told you before, pay attention when walking, especially on the road."

Mitsuya shakes his head as a bike passes by the both of them.

"Taka-chan!" [Y/n] beamed which caused for the boy to feel his cheeks heat up as his heart skipped a beat for making the girl smile at him like that just by the sight of him.

"It's been a while."

"Yeah, it's been.." he replied with a slight nod of his head as they both resumed with their journey towards the school.
