《Remember | Tokyo revengers》「32」- Reaper

The sky was clear. It was bright blue due to the sun's shining light. A cool breeze passed by making the leaves on the trees and grasses on the ground to dance. The weather was perfect.

And whilst all those natural things happen, a soft and gentle melody played in the air. A piano which was being played by a 13 year old girl with beautiful [h/c] locks and striking [e/c] eyes that was full of life.

A dazzling smile accompanied her feature as her fingers moved on the black and white keys of the piano lightly. She looked graceful and serene while playing the instrument.

She was playing this song called 'Nandemonaiya' from an anime which is from Kimi no nawa; an anime that is a movie, a show which she watched back at her original world back then.

[Y/n] stopped her hands. "Hmm, should I play an Inuyasha ost?" She muttered with a prideful smile before letting out a small hum. "Or ghibli?"

Currently, the girl was still in school despite the fact that classes were over but since there was no piano at home but at her grandparents', she chose to stay even if it's just for an hour or so just to hear the wonderful tune of the piano as playing it reminds her of her grandpa, the person who was the reason on how she came to love the instrument.

The girl looked outside the window and lets out a content smile. It was silent, there was no one in the room but her and she felt at peace because she gets to do whatever she wants in her own world.

But of course peace doesn't last long.

"I knew you'd still be here."

A cheery voice broke the silence. [Y/n] turns her head as her friend enters the room in a joyful manner.

"Hey." She first greets before chuckling. "Are you skipping your classes again?"

She asked making the boy pout his lips. "Yeah, and my dad found out about it." The person huffed, arms folded in front of their chest. "Got grounded but I sneaked out."

Masashi Okamoto, 14 years old.

He takes a chair in the room and puts it besides the female before sitting down. "Extra classes? Pfft. What's the point of making me do extra work?" He leaned his back against the chair.

"When I'm already the disappointing disgraceful bastard child of the family." He mumbled before chuckling bitterly and rolling his eyes. "It'd be a pain in the ass for me if I do better because that old guy will just expect a lot of things."

Masashi runs his hand through his hair. "And even if I do accomplish something, he'll just say I can do much better." He frowned. "Dad should just stick to giving all his attention to my eldest brother, the golden child of the family."

[Y/n] glances at him. There was no expression on his face now. Just blank and dull as he muttered, "My efforts will just be in vain." then the second, there was. It looked cold and...eerie.

"He treats his children like some goddamn objects and he chooses the best to show it off." He muttered, jaw clenched. "The only good thing about me being born in a rich family is that I can buy whatever I want."

Masashi sighs again. "All those money and things that I bought with...doesn't fill the hole or make the emptiness disappear." He glances at the girl beside him.

"I may find happiness sometimes in those kind of things, but it doesn't last long." He leaned towards the girl and rest his head on her shoulder when he mumbled his words that only himself could hear it.

'I feel warm and full when I'm with you.' He thought as his gaze softens while looking at the [h/c] girl. 'The emptiness in me only gets filled when with you.'

[Y/n] pats the boy's head with pity and sadness in her eyes. Before she could speak and tell him comforting words, Masashi asks for her to play a song.

The female nods her head and starts to move her fingers on the black and white keys which makes another melodic tune to play in the air once more.

'I wish for us stay like this forever because in moments like this...' The boys lips curled up. It made him show a tender smile face while he watches [Y/n] play the piano; gaze soft with fondness – he was lovestruck.

'I feel like I can achieve eternal happiness with you and not feel empty ever again.'

Masashi, now 16 years old.

He smiled at the memory and hugged the picture of a familiar girl as he laid on his back on the soft mattress of his bed.

The person on the picture had features of [h/c], [e/c], and a gentle smile on her face. [F/n] [L/n] was the beautiful person's full name on the small portrait.

"I love you." He whispered, arms stretching to look at the picture. "I won't let anyone have you, especially that person."

Masashi's smile disappears, his expression turning dark. "Don't give me a hard time just like our previous encounter, okay?" He hummed.

"I'll come again to you soon, just wait for me." He lets out a dreamy sigh as he hugs the picture again.

"It'll be such a wonderful surprise."

"Big sis?"

Akio calls with a few knocks before opening the door of his older sister's room. [Y/n] was on the mirror, checking the scar on the left side of her temple, wondering and trying to remember again on how she got it by the glimpse of memories she received back then.

But before all of that, she recalled Takemichi's words from yesterday, about Mikey killing everyone. 'It happened too soon' as she thought.

She then next thinks about Draken succeeding on killing Kisaki. Thinking about the boy with glasses made her recall another memory from yesterday.

Kisaki's expression was soft while gazing at the beautiful vase she brought back home back at the hospital. It's a shame that the previous flowers died though, they were so beautiful as she thinks.

[Y/n] out that the vase was from the boy with glasses because he muttered something along the line, 'Seems like she liked the vase enough to bring it back home.' And 'Maybe I should bring flowers next time I visit.'

The female connected the dots like that and it somehow made her happy or relief to finally solve one of the mysteries she's been questioning about as the flowers plus the vase was sent anonymously as the nurse told her then.

And she's not gonna lie. It felt like Kisaki was being out of character just like how Taiju was also with the teddy bear thing.

It also felt weird hearing those words straight from a person was responsible for mostly everyone's demise at the manga but then again, she remembers that the boy does likes plants and he's practically a fan of it thanks to his character book...

Liking plants doesn't have anything to do about being a villain, right...?

It just felt weird seeing a person like Kisaki being all soft.

"What is it?" She asked, now snapping out of her thoughts as she turned her head to face her little brother.

"My friends are here to pick me up." He said with a beaming smile. "We'll play at our hideout today!"

[Y/n] smiles and nods her head. "Okay. Enjoy and be careful on your way." She told him making the boy's smile get wider and before he could sprint away, his sister informs him,

"I'll be visiting Keisuke, will you be alright?" Akio nods his head with a hum.

"That's alright! I'll be back before dinner anyways, and you always get back home before I can." The little angel replied with a sweet bright smile before going on his way enthusiastically but before shouting a last,

"See ya later, bis sis!"

The girl couldn't help but let out a small chuckle. Her brother was just so adorable!

"I just wished we were like this too." She muttered with a longing gaze while remembering her brother Akio from her original world.

"I shouldn't make myself sad today." She shakes her head and opens the drawer on her desk to look for her earphone. "Huh?"

[Y/n] noticed that something fell after she took out a sketchbook. She picked it up and saw that it was a picture.

"Chifuyu looks scary, haha." She laughed before noticing a familiar but also a not so familiar face on the photo. "Who is this now?"

Her face contorted into a quizzical expression, wondering who was the boy with a snake tattoo on his neck. He was laughing while being glared at from behind.

It seems like the unknown boy drew and wrote things on Chifuyu's face, and took a picture at a certain distance because his arm was extended.

[Y/n] ponders and tries to search through her memories if she ever saw that face but there was nothing else.

Maybe the unknown guy was a side character or someone that wasn't mentioned...or maybe there was some kind of a special separate book or chapter she hadn't read and heard about.

Then there it was. She couldn't figure the name out at first as if was on the back of her head. "It's Ryu something..." she uttered.

"Ryusei..Satou..?" She whispered, an unknown smile gracing its way on her face. [Y/n] turns the picture and she sees a handwritten note on it.

'I had fun again today ♡ Ps. I sent a copy to Chifuyu. I bet he crumpled it all up or even ripped it into pieces with a funny look on his face, Haha!'

Was written on the back, and it made her chuckle with a light shake of her head. She set the photo back down on her desk, her smile still present on her face.

[Y/n] admires the picture for a few more minutes before a question suddenly popped up in her mind.

"How come I haven't seen this guy at least once for the past two months?" She inquired. "Did he moved out or something ?"

Shaking her head as nothing comes in mind, the teen starts to get ready instead to visit her black haired friend who joined a new gang.

"It won't come to me if I force it to remember."

[Y/n] gets her necessary items and puts it on her small shoulder bag. Things like: the key to the house, phone, earphones, wallet, stun gun, just in case of emergency.

Now all set, the female now goes on her way and walked the usual bustling street of Shibuya after she locked her house and made sure that it really was.

As the girl halt in her steps and wait for the pedestrian light to turn green, a hand slung over her shoulder.

She noticed the kanji character of 'Punishment' written on the person's hand.

'Hanma??'

The female knows the guy, definitely. But the only thing she's confused and curious about is why Shuji Hanma has his arm on her shoulder and is looking all casual about it.

The tall boy who was looking up head, shifts his gaze at her. "It's been a while [Y/n]." He spoke, a lazy smirk plastered on his handsome face.

"Did ya miss me?"

'It's been a while?' [Y/n] repeats in her mind with a slight rise of one of her brows. Her eyes went sharp. She was cautious – wary at Hanma's appearance since he did approach her on purpose.

"You don't?" Hanma pouts his lips and leans towards [Y/n]. "Even though I missed ya."

To the boy's dismay, his words got ignored and his leaning face got pushed away since it seemed like he'd go in and steal kiss but in truth he just wanted to snuggle his face on the girl...like some type of a cat.

Well he was caught glancing at the [h/c] teen's lips that's why those kind of thought came in mind. [Y/n] shook her head and turned on her heel. She walked away without exchanging any words.

Hanma only let out a chuckle before following her with that his usual lazy smile plastered on his face.

"What do you want?" [Y/n] asked, annoyed by the unwanted company that caused a frown to show on her face. "I have no interest or whatsoever in entertaining you because I have more important things to do and be at."

She turned and looked at him coldly after stopping in her tracks. "If you're only here to annoy me, well you've succeeded." She glowered, teeth clenched.

"Now, " She snarled at him while Hanma being Hanma...his eyes only showed a glint of amusement.

He found her cute. It felt like to him that was only getting hissed at by a small kitten. Of course, he's aware that he shouldn't underestimate said small kitten.

Because who knows, that small kitten might actually be a vicious and ferocious tiger. It can and scratch, bite, and him if provoked any further.

'And that's exactly why she's fun to be with.'

He grinned. "Aww, come on~" he cooed as he showed a smile that reached his eyes. "Don't be so harsh and mean to me, sweetheart."

[Y/n] grimaced at the sudden pet name while the boy with tattooed hands let out an annoying laugh.

"I'm only doing what that person told me to do." He said and his smile only widened when the girl continued to scowl at him.

'Is it Kisaki?' She thought, arms folded in front of her chest before saying her remark, "Exactly what? Annoy me?" With a scoff, she turned on her heal and walked away. Of course the tall guy followed suit.

"Make sure you don't get harmed or worse, killed." Hanma answered, voice slightly deep as he pulled the girl on the side towards him, his chest specifically before a guy could bump into her, his long arm over her shoulder again.

"Why would that person even bother." [Y/n] huffed after letting out an exasperated sigh while the boy stares at her.

"Beats me." He shrugged with a playful gaze and smile as he adds, "You two are close so you should know the answer yourself~"

The female rolled her eyes with a huff. "Tell your boss or that person, 'Thank you for being considerate about sending a bodyguard but no thank you," She gave a dirty look at the boy beside her and he only smiled.

"I can protect myself quite well, and I'd rather have my friends standing by my side to do that kind of job since they're much better to be around with and no to mention, they can fight very well."

[Y/n] glances at Hanma and she doesn't fail to notice the look or emotion in his dull eyes that usually had boredom in it if there was nothing exciting or amusing going in.

Though, sadly. The female couldn't exactly tell what kind of emotion was it. Anger? No...Jealousy. That made her shake her head as it was impossible.

Why would the man be jealous?

It would make much more sense that he's angry rather than jealous so she'll stick with that.

[Y/n] sneers at him, her mouth opening to say something. "I'm just saying this because I don't want anyone misunderstanding that I'm betraying my Toman friends."

She those words through a bright smile as she's obviously indicating that he should take his leave and that he's waiting his time.

Hanma was being persistent and extremely annoying. She can't visit Keisuke with him trailing behind or else Hanma might suspect that something is off and snitch on him.

She can't let her friend get in a tight spot because of her. She hates burdening others the most.

"They can't be better than me." Hanma remarked at her previous statement, his face close to her as he looked serious all of a sudden which made [Y/n] slightly taken aback. He finally said something after being unusually quiet.

"If you disagree then alright." He grinned. "They can be better but I'll be the best for you."
