[Y/n] continued to gaze at Mikey with a questionable look on her face. "There's no way Takemitchy would like me." She told him.

"He has such a cute and lovely girlfriend." She adds, her arms crossed once again. 'Not to mention that he's going all through this trouble just to save said girlfriend.' She hummed.

She then glanced at Mikey with a blank look on her face. 'He doesn't know it and I can't tell him that though.'

"But what if he's got enchanted by your beauty since you're also cute and lovely?" The female grimaced at his words. She even shuddered due to how skin crawling it sounded to her ears.

"Since when did you learn to say such cringy things?" She asked, expression still the same which made Mikey huff as he looked offended.

"Did you read too much of Chifuyu's mangas or watched too many cringy movies?" [Y/n] continued. She liked how cute Mikey was when he starts to puff his cheeks and pout his lips like a kid. It reminds her of her little brother.

"I'm telling the truth here!" The boy finally snapped. He let out a 'hmph' when he heard a laugh coming from the [h/c] girl.

"Well anyways, Takemitchy doesn't like me. He must've been just shocked that's why he acted like how he did." She states.

"Since it's already this late, I'm assuming that my parents called?" She asked with a small hum, now changing the subject before Mikey could utter another ridiculous thing.

The blonde boy nods his head. "They told us to tell you that they'll be away for about a week or so for a business trip." He paused then shook his head.

"Actually they aren't sure since it was an emergency." Mikey saw how the girl struggled to stand up due to the way she scowled and the hint of pain in her [e/c] eyes.

He gets up first before asking her a question. "Want me to carry you?" His kind gesture was politely turned down. Mikey watched her pretty friend have a hard time standing by herself.

Her whole body ached, especially her legs due to too much running and from the bruises she received, all thanks to her attacker from last night.

She noticed how that her feet had medical plasters on it while both hands and neck have a white bandage wrapped around it.

Looking at her state again made Mikey unknowingly frown while he felt a sudden burning rage coursing through his veins but he managed to calm himself down after thinking of some other things.

Seeing how [Y/n] finally got up, he immediately scooped her up in his arms and carried her like a princess which caused for the girl to let out a small shriek from being lifted up so swiftly.

He carried her as if she weighed nothing while exiting the room. "The keys to your house were given to Emma and if you're wondering where Akio is, he's out playing with his friends at the playground." He informed, obviously distracting his friend before she could struggle or protest again in his hold.

"He knows he should he back before dinner or dark, and Emma's cooking food while Izana's probably helping her or something." Mikey adds while [Y/n] starts to enjoy being carried as the warmth the boy emitted caused for her to relax in his arms.

Mikey obviously noticed and he can't help but let the corners of his lips to show a subtle smile. He was enjoying this moment. Not to mention how the feeling of the butterflies in his stomach felt.

After replying with a thanks, [Y/n]'s nose picked up a delicious scent that it made her stomach grumble.

The female can't wait to taste the delectable cooking of her friend again. Taking another of the sniff of the smell, seems like they'll be having curry, specifically pork cutlet with curry since she saw...Mitsuya? He was cutting the fried breaded pork.

What's he doing here? She thought it was Emma doing the cooking? Never mind, she is. She's stirring the curry with a little smile on her face.

[Y/n] thinks that she was happy cooking her crush's favorite food since she was reminded of him, but sadly Draken, who was the supposed crush was still at the hospital.

Meanwhile, Izana was on the sofa, drinking his favorite drink while watching Baji lose to his friends at the game. He was both enjoying his drink and pissed look on his face.

He did look somewhat proud since Baji was losing to Kakucho.

They all arrived right when Emma started to prepare the ingredients for dinner.

"You're finally awake." Izana first spoke which made the others to set their eyes on the [h/c] teen. "Took you long enough." He scoffs.

"We were all tempted to call your parents and send you to the hospital, you know?" The others agree on his words with a nodding head and small 'yeah'

"You sleeping like that reminded us of the time when you slept for a week." Baji chimes in, the game long now forgotten ever since he tossed the cards on the floor and calling it a stupid game.

"How're you feeling right now?" Mitsuya asked as he exits the kitchen while Emma remains there and listens to their conversation.

The female blinked her eyes. "Hungry." She replied shortly. "Like really hungry for a reason. I feel like I could eat a whole elephant."

"How can you eat a whole elephant?" Baji asked with a brow raised. "More importantly why would you wanna eat one???" He's cute but [Y/n] couldn't contain to cackle, especially since Mikey looked like he was also wondering about her reply.

Both shared the brain cell for a moment there.

She wheezes while the others couldn't help but to join in her contagious laughter. "It's a fuckin' expression, man." Mitsuya laughs as he wipes a tear away from his eyes.

"Well, that's a given since you haven't eaten anything." Emma sighs when the laughter died down.

Izana and Mikey started to have a staring contest while [Y/n] waved her hand at Kakucho. "You can give her to me." He told Mikey with a sharp gaze.

"Nah." The boy simply responded which irked Izana obviously. Emma and Kakucho both calms them down. The blonde girl soon announced that dinner was served which they all went to and started to eat as soon as Akio came back.

And while eating she was thinking about a lot of things. Specifically the conclusion she came up with earlier when she heard how anxious Takemichi was after she fainted.

If she was meant to die last night then that would mean that the original story continued as it was if no one had interfered and saved her. Just the thought of it caused her to shiver mainly when she remembered her attacker.

She was also in disbelief but tried her best not to show any while watching her friends be loud as they enjoy their food.

[Y/n] always knew that there were consequences to face and she was ready to face them regardless of how hard they may be, but she didn't expected to face them so soon...

Well that just means that she'll always have to be on alert now doesn't it? Specially when her crazy attacker hasn't been caught.

Just the thought of dying so early made her frown while stuffing her face. The female then recalls the little girl she mentioned earlier to Mikey.

When she was asleep, she heard a faint, vivid yet also vague voice. It felt like she was being scolded by someone by a child about something.

Well whatever. She'll just enjoy this moment with her bunch of rowdy friends even if most of them aren't here.

What matters right now is the delicious meal in front of her. She's been thinking while stuffing her face full since the start, and the others can't help but be amaze by the amount of food she has already consumed since she's eating more than usual than she does.

"Guess you weren't kidding when you said that you could eat an whole elephant, huh?" Baji comments with blinking eyes.

"Just keep eating! I made lots just in case." Emma chirped as a cheery smile accompanies her pretty face.

"But slow down or you'll choke." Izana warns with closed eyes while Akio nods his head in agreement.

"By the way, who hurt you that bad, sis?" The little boy asked which caused for [Y/n] to choke. She forgot that she should be hiding her bandaged state due to how her body ached and craved for food badly.

Kakucho was the first to hand her a glass of water which she thanked him for after coughing a few times.

"Your sister, uh..." Mitsuya tries to cover for the girl but can't think of a proper excuse or lie to do so.

And so another problem arises....

But anyways, she's determined to stay alive no what what as she can't die. Now now. Not when she hasn't even done much.

...Or maybe she already did.
