"The reason for Mikey's change..."
Muttered Akkun to his fellow adult and friend Takemichi, who just came back from the past of 12 years ago to the future due to accidentally touching Naoto's little version's hand there — mistaking it as his girlfriend, Hina.
"Wasn't really because of Draken's death." Akkun's words made the man in front of him to widen his eyes in disbelief. "But that doesn't mean Mikey wasn't affected by it."
"Huh..?" Was the only thing Takemichi could muster out while recalling his encounter with the said female. "Draken is dead?"
"Draken who wasn't supposed to die, died." Akkun continues as he climbs up on the cemented wall. "And here I am living it up with dirty money." With both of his hands back inside his pockets, he said.
"Because death was like...you could think of it as the final trigger?" He states. "The moment the police confirmed her death, that's when Mikey really changed."
"Her? Who are you talking about?" Whispered Takemichi this time, a bead of sweat trailing down his forehead which only increased more the more he got anxious about Akkun.
"Her death made such a huge impact on him..." Despite the male protagonist's puzzled expression, Akkun still continued to speak while glancing at his friend by the corner of his eyes.
"Who's her, Akkun? You gotta tell me!" Exclaimed Takemichi out of frustration, and anticipation with a loud also fast beating heart. When he finally heard his friend's answer with a melancholic expression on Takemichi's eyes turned wide once more.
He muttered in utter disbelief as he recalls the said female and his somewhat weird but also kind interaction the day they first met. 'But I just met her a few days ago!'
"I always admired you. You, who would always stand firm even while crying." Takemichi went silent for a moment before calling out to his friend's nickname loudly as his anxiousness towards him increased.
"The one you want to save by returning to the past is her, right?" He asked with a light chuckle. "That's the ultimate love, isn't it?"
"Hey, get down from there. It's dangerous!" Shouted the raven haired behind.
"Takemichi." Akkun calls, a genuine and gentle smile now plastered on his face which turned into a grin eventually as he finally tells his last words.
"Save everyone, Mr. Crybaby hero."
"Akkun!!" Shouted Takemichi after seeing his friend turn his back on him. "STOP!! AKKUN!!!"
His pleads weren't enough as the person he was trying to call and stop so desperately...has already jumped before he could even run to him.
And the only thing Takemichi Hanagaki could do was cry, scream and grieve over the lost of his precious friend without knowing that there was someone watching quietly ever since from the start.

"If Draken were still alive," trailed Takemichi. "I don't think Toman would have turned into such a horrible organization." He finished, hugging his knees and putting it closer to his chest. "Akkun said it too. Mikey-kun changed when Draken died..."
"...It's true." Replied Naoto as he ponders. "That Toman's descent into evil was caused by Kisaki becoming no.2"
"But the thing is, he said it wasn't really just Draken's." Takemichi states making for his fellow raven haired to look at him with a puzzled expression. "[L/n]'s death actually was the reason and Akkun called it as a final trigger for Mikey's complete change."
"[L/n]...?" Naoto repeats the surname. "Hm? Do you know her?" Asked Takemichi. "I know her but we're not really that close..." He replied to his friend's question.
"Since I liked to be at the library back then, I sometimes see her going there, too and since she became friends with my sister, we got to know each other a little." Naoto turned his head slightly to the side. "Also, she's nice..." he coughed, a few times while Takemichi gave him a goofy look or a smile.
"And pretty?" He finishes for the sake of his friend and Naoto glares at him...for being correct. "You're blushing." Takemichi snickers.
"Anyways, that's not the point." Naoto acts cool as he pushes back his chair to gain access to his laptop. "While you were being interviewed, I looked into Ken Ryuguji's death as promised. We'll look into his first then [L/n]'s...since what happened to her was all over the news then." He says, mumbling the last part and now changing the topic or more like getting back into it.
"I extracted a passage from the newspaper from that time. On August 3rd, 2005, in a parking lot in Tokyo's Shibuya ward, a 50 person brawl broke out in a biker gang." He reads out loud for the time leaper. "A middle school student, 15, passed away after being stabbed in the abdomen with a knife."
Naoto turns back around to face Takemichi after they finished their conversation about Draken's incident, despite it being unbelievable to hear for the protagonist.
"[F/n] [L/n] went missing or died...on the same day as Draken's. She was last seen by her friends at the festival that was taking place and disappeared suddenly after they got separated...but it turns out, a few people saw her leave with a friend." Naoto starts as he scrolls down on his laptop to gain more helpful information.
"And the so called friend was also the suspect who was the cause for her disappearance. Masashi Okamoto who went into hiding after killing his friend, [F/n] [L/n] on the night of August 3rd, 2005 has been finally caught after a year has passed and has been charged for second degree murder and was sentenced for life imprisonment for 20 years." Naoto reads out loud again but this time about [Y/n]'s article.

"During trial, Okamoto, who was looking remorseful about what he did, suddenly blamed the victim, [L/n]. 'It's not my fault...it's hers! As a matter of fact, she deserves it! That's right....Not only was she being bitch when I asked her nicely to come with me, she's also whore!! She's been going around flirting with those disgusting delinquents...'" Naoto pauses to suppress the boiling anger that's been bubbling and rising within him for quite a while now before proceeding once again.
"'If she doesn't want to be with me then she's not allowed to be with anyone else. That's why I killed her instead of bringing her home. Actually, it's those delinquents fault...they tainted my sweet [F/n]!' Because of what he said, not only [L/n]'s family and friends were enraged but also the public."
When Naoto stopped reading, Takemichi noticed how tightly his grip was on the mouse turned out, not to mention the burning rage in his eyes.
"...[L/n]'s dead body has yet to be seen nor retrieved up until now." he continues to read after calming himself down a bit and skipping through the article.
"[L/n]'s parents kept searching for her with the help of the police for a while but gave up soon. Her parents carried on without them with the help of her friends....but after five years of searching they held a funeral without a body." Naoto turns his chair to face his friend who also looked sad.
"A lot of people came to pay their respects, mostly gangsters from different gangs." He says, letting out a small chuckle and lightening the mood up a little.
"Well, I was told by a friend that [L/n] was a well respected and feared person in our world..." said Takemichi, his lips slightly curling up as he finally showed a smile even though it was little.
"Anyways, the deadline is two weeks from now." Naoto starts again after a moment of silence occurred between them. "You have to figure out the cause of dispute and stop it." Adds the male then continues on with another,
"Your mission this time," he trails, "On August 3rd, you have two people to save." He exclaims. "This may be harder than the previous one but I know you'll manage somehow." Naoto list down four certain people with a small description.
"If this mission is successful, you could save them all!" From the looks on their faces, calling what they do was nerve wracking is an understatement. Saving people to change the past seemed like an impossible thing to do after all...or not.
"Draken, [L/n], Akkun, and Hina?" Takemichi repeats as Naoto stands up from his seat to approach his friend. "Yes."
"That's fucking awesome." States the time leaper with his hand now slightly raised, ready to shake hands and travel back to the past.
"I'll definitely save them!!" Naoto smiles before saying and shaking his hand, "I'll leave it up to you."

"What're you spacing out for?" Asked the teen named Akio to his big sister who was blankly looking outside the window of the hospital.
"Oh...It just seems like I forgot something really important.." replied [Y/n] quietly with a small hum then soon beamed a smile. "Anyways, did you buy the latest book of tr, hm? hm?" She asked with sparkling like eyes and acting all cutesy making for his little brother to look at her in disgust.
"Yeah, I did but first stop doing that horrifying thing you're doing right now." He dryly told her causing for his big sister to playfully look offended.
"Your eyes should be blessed to have witness such a cute act." [Y/n] sassily says while Akio rummages through the bag sitting beside him.
"Time for you to shut up and read your book." Was all said in a blank tone. "I need some peace and quiet."
"Violence and chaos is the best, though." [Y/n] hums causing for her younger brother to grimace or even look at her weirdly.
"How about I start the so called violence and chaos by burning that manga of yours."
"As I thought, peace is so magnificent." The female states as she smiled gracefully while Akio looks at her serene like figure and he can't help but flash a smile. Happy that his big sister finally woke up and is joking with her again.
"[Y/n]..."
"What?"
"Huh?"
The two siblings stared at each other in silence but with confused expressions on both of their faces. The older one glares at her brother.
"You called my name." She said. "No, I didn't." Her younger brother interjects. "Is this a prank?" Asked Akio who was now also glaring back.
"I always knew that hospitals has it." Mumbled the female. "Have what?" Inquired the brother.
"Ghosts of course! It's only us two here and you didn't called my name so who else would you think did it?" [Y/n] blabbered, but despite looking all excited her brother was the opposite. He looked pale.
"Hurry up and get discharged already."
"I don't do the work about that." Replied back instantly the older woman. "Anyways, don't think too much about it. I must've been just hearing things." With a roll of her eyes she said then resumed back to reading.
"Ran's neck got longer...hehe. A giraffe Ran....that's so cute...hehehe."
"Shit. I think I'm hearing the ghost laugh at my pitiful state...I wanna go home. Mommm."
