Without even getting the chance to look at the person who called, [Y/n] who just left school with Mitsuya accompanying her to discuss on what they should do first to help regain her loss memories was startled when she felt a pair of arms wrap around her waist as the person who called her clings like some type of koala and she could only stare at Mitsuya.
He swore he saw her eyes multiply due to the way it shook too much in panic.
"Mikey, get off." The lilac said blankly which Mikey, the person who was clinging onto [Y/n] pouted his lips.
"Don't wanna." He huffed then looked at the female's [e/c] eyes with a smile on his face. "Did you miss me [n/n]?" The blonde asked before rubbing his cheek against her a bit gently.
"Ah!" A female voice shouted and when everyone looked at the person they saw another two teens, both with blonde hair.
"Mikey, let go!" The blonde girl exclaimed while pulling said person away from [Y/n]. "I said I don't wanna." Mikey answered with puffed cheeks and only tightened his hold.
"Let me hug [Y/n], too!" She shouted, obviously not minding the weird looks they're getting from other people.
The female who was being argued over by the two who seemed like siblings felt suffocated and she could only stare at Mitsuya intensely, hinting for him to help her.
"Settle down you two."A deep voice scolds from behind, looking as if this was a regular thing as his expression was blank.
"Hey there [Y/n]." Another blonde greeted. He was taller compared to the other four and he had a dragon tattoo on the left side of his head. He looked really intimidating.
"Let go." Was the only thing she said in a low voice which caught them off guard and the two blonde siblings to loosen their grip on her. [Y/n] took this as an opportunity to slip out and hide behind Mitsuya in a swift manner.
Her action didn't fail to make his heart skip a beat.
"Sorry, I forgot to warn you about Mikey." Mitsuya whispered to her with a sheepish smile, not minding the small guy's glaring. "He's the one you gotta watch out the most." He warns, the two now on their own world while their friends watch them whisper.
"As far as I know among all your friends, he's the most clingy one towards you."He informs which the girl answered with a nodding head, silently taking notes in her mind.
"Next is his sister, Emma." [Y/n] glanced at the said person. She saw her flash a smile with a small wave of her hand. "Then their older brother, Izana." Mitsuya saw her look at Draken next making him shake his head a little.
"Not him. He's Draken, and just a friend." he corrected her thoughts. "They aren't related just because of their hair." He adds with a chuckle. "Like me, they're your childhood friends, too."
"I see." [Y/n] hums, processing and remembering the information that went in her head. "I'll introduce you to the others as well when you meet them so it'll be a little easier to remember their names since you already saw their faces." In a smiling face he said to her. The [h/c] couldn't help but be bashful.

"Thanks for this, Takashi." She mumbled to him which only earned a chuckle. "It's nothing and what're you getting all shy for?" While gently patting her head he replied.
"If you have some questions feel free to hit me up anytime. My number's saved in your phone anyways." [Y/n] nods her head, a gentle smile now on her face.
"I'll be sure to repay you after all this." Mitsuya's cheeks had a light shade of red. It was his turn to be bashful now.
"There's no need to." He trailed. "It's only natural that I'd help you out when need to." He grinned. "We're friends after all."
Ah, yes friends. He says that with a smiling face yet how come it left a bitter taste in his mouth?
"Still, if you want or need anything just say so, okay?" So immersed in their own world, they don't notice the three teens that was now looking impatient and annoyed. They don't like the sight they see in front of them.
Absolutely not one bit.
"Then, how about a date?" Mitsuya says, the confidence he felt now disappearing just as quickly as it appeared to him. "N-Never mind. I'll just thi–"
"Sure." [Y/n] answered as she laughed softly at the sight of an flustered Mitsuya. "Just tell me when and where we'll meet up, I'll be there." She grinned from ear to ear making his face to turn completely red and his words to come out jumbled.
"I wanna come, too." Mikey suddenly said from behind them, ruining the wholesome moment and sweet atmosphere.
Obviously, he intended that.
"Let's go on a date." He said, smiling ever so innocently. "The three of us."
"Mikey aside, what were you two mumbling about?" Draken asked as Emma squints her eyes, obviously suspicious of her two friends. The short blonde could only huff for being ignored though.
[Y/n] stands there while staring at them. Mitsuya glances at her, waiting to see if she's the one who'll answer and come up a lie but when two seconds passed he took it to him to do it instead.
"There's no need for us to lie." She murmured when he was about to take a step forward. "I'm sure I have trustworthy friends that won't tell my parents." With a gentle smile she said.
"Let's go somewhere else." The female said kindly while she earned three confused looks from them. Takashi chuckles and just followed [h/c].
"So that's why you reacted like that..." Emma trails as silence soon followed the group. They looked glum at the news [Y/n] and Mitsuya delivered after they went somewhere quiet with less people.
"[Y/n]-chan." Emma called, breaking the deafening silence. "That's not some type of disease, right?" She asked in a brittle voice. "I-I mean..you said that the hospital didn't found out what's wrong with you no matter how many tests they do..."
Emma's voice cracked a bit at the horrifying thought that went through her mind. "It's just weird no matter how you think about it." She continued, eyes brimming with tears.
"Coughing blood all of a sudden then collapsing...not to mention you slept for almost an entire week..!" She almost shouted out as she hung her head low.

"And all they told you was that you're fine?! You don't even remember us! Are they screwing with you?!" She screamed out, tears now falling down her eyes.
"What do you wanna do?" Mikey asked. It was hard to tell what kind of emotions that were swirling in his dark eyes but the melancholy on it was evident.
"You wanna burn it down?" Everyone could only deadpan or give him a weird look at his suggestion but [Y/n]'s soft laugh caught their attention.
"Burning things are Baji's stuff." Draken chuckled. Also joining in to lighten the tense and sad atmosphere.
"Maybe you should distance yourself from him for the time being." Mitsuya jokingly said making Emma to laugh a little.
"Emma." [Y/n] called out to her in a soft voice. "Thanks for getting mad for me." She told her while rubbing the blonde's head gently. The smile on her face went away as she turned serious.
"But no matter how mad you are don't burn down a hospital, okay?" Emma laughed even more as she wiped her tears away and sniffled.
"[Y/n]-chan." She put both of her hands on top of her shoulders with a determined look on her face. "Don't worry! I'll help you regain those loss memories!"
"Me, too!" Mikey chimes, hugging the [h/c] from behind causing for her to flinch slightly. Her cheeks now slightly flushed because who wouldn't react that way when a handsome or pretty person were to hug you so intimately
"Obviously, I'll help as well." Draken smiled before shifting his gaze at the certain blonde who's clinging onto [Y/n]. "And get off of her, Mikey."
"You're making [Y/n] uncomfortable." Mitsuya said, nodding his head at Draken's words while Mikey pouts again.
"No, I'm not."
"Yes, you are!" Emma shouts at his brother. "I can see her face because she's facing me and you don't."
"Eh? But [n/n] likes my hugs!" He interjects his friends' snarky comments.
"That's before." Draken blankly told him. "She doesn't remember you or any of us, right now."
"Give her some space man." Takashi also joins in making the blonde they were ganging up on to puff out his cheeks and hide his face on the crook of [Y/n]'s neck which only annoyed them further due to the expressions they all showed.
"It's just you and me now, [n/n]!" He said, moving his head a little as he enjoyed everything. The hug, her warmth she emitted, her soothing scent, her melodic voice along with her laughter, and lastly her sweet, genuine smile that would always make his heart skip a beat.
Mikey wasn't hiding the fact that he missed her dearly just as much as the others.
"I'm sure the others, the people in Toman would be ecstatic to see you when we hold the next meeting." Mitsuya chuckles as they all walked together towards [Y/n]'s home after the small fight they had because Mikey didn't seem like to budge earlier.
"Toman...?" She repeated the name quietly as it seemed familiar again.
"It's their gang's name." Emma answered before anyone else could. "Mikey's the president, Draken's vice and Mitsuya's the captain of the second division there."
'Takashi? A gangster???' She thought in disbelief.
"Taka-chan so cool." [Y/n] thought out loud with glimmering eyes of admiration making Mikey to point at himself with a look of, what about me?
"You balance your life so well." She complimented making his cheeks to flush red but Mikey annoyed.
"And I'm the president of said gang." The blonde repeats his sister's words. Draken scoffs as Emma rolled her eyes and muttered something under her breath.
"Try hard."
"Draken, you're cool too." [Y/n] said with a thumbs up making said guy to chuckle while Mikey smiled at her. His usual dull black eyes were sparkling in anticipation. He looked like an adorable dog that's wagging its tail.
"Thanks for accompanying me all the way here." She told them as she beamed a smile. "I'll see you all later and thank you for today, truly."
"See you later, [Y/n]!" Emma first answered. "And it's nothing at all. We're friends after all." She grinned from ear to ear.
"Yeah, see ya." Draken also bids her bye with a smile.
"[n/n]?"
"See you tomorrow at school." Mitsuya says while waving his hand and before [Y/n] could walk inside her home, she chuckled as the corner of her lips tugged upwards into a mischievous smile.
"You're cool, too, of course." She finally told him. Her eyes half lidded as she continued to smile at him.
Ah, the butterflies he felt.
"Bye bye!" The [h/c] walked inside and closed the door behind her. She took out her phone and searched for Takashi's number in her contacts which she successfully did after a several seconds. She instantly typed a message and sent it to him.
Back to the group, they were discussing and thinking of things on what they should do to help regain one's memories.
Mitsuya felt his phone vibrate in his pocket and took it out. The text he received made an inevitable goofy smile find its way to his face.

"That's a look of someone in love." Emma whispered to her brother while glancing at Mitsuya who kept staring at his phone. The silly smile on his face still present.
"You chattin' your girlfriend?" Draken grinned making his twin tattoo friend to laugh lightly.
"You know I don't have time for such things." The lilac haired replied, though despite his words.
He knew himself that it was a lie as he was betrayed by his own his mind when it thought of [Y/n]'s sweet and bright smiling face. And not to mention his heart was telling him something...

Rise of the First Necromancer
Asrael Nessarat awakes on a sandy dune with a mouthful of sand and nothing but tattered rags in his posession. As the High Magus of the school of Necromancy, he once aspired to prove to the Emperor that magic still held a place in their society. But that day came, passed and inevitably accelerated his kind's downfall. Now; they are hunted, strung up and burned on pyres throughout the Empire by the Emperor's holy Inquisition- an efficient and ruthless army hell-bent on bleeding every last droplet of magic from the lands. With nothing but a mouthful of sand and tattered rags; Asrael is determined to seek the one thing his cold, still heart desires. Vengeance. This story can, at times, get very dark. It is not recommended for the faint of heart. This is not a story of an overtly powerful wizard who can pulverize his enemies from across the world, nor is it in any way, shape or form a joyous tale. We follow Asrael as he and his companions explore and seek to change an unjust world, where kindness and acceptance are exceptions, rather than the rule. If you are looking for a story to inspire hope or joy, this is not it. If you wish to read about likeable, heroic people, turn around. If you wish to see good battle evil, where the cut in between is clear, then this is not for you.

The Heretic Legion
Cover Art: Undead Master by Changling Assassin. Located at: http://fav.me/dbm60ex Used under license Creative Commons attribution non-commercial 3.0 per bottom right of the linked page. Summary: Just the story of a necromancer and his eventual army. Currently, the only major thing of note is a pretty fleshed out magic system. No set list of spells or specific incantations. Just rules similar to the laws of physics, within those laws you can do whatever is possible. Updates: I work Sunday thru Wednesday and updates tend to revolve around my scheduled days off. Currently, I release content as I feel it's ready for release because that's what I myself would prefer from an author. Warnings: This story is graphic. blood/necromancy magic that requires self-harm to use. explicit descriptions of sexuality. (though fairly tame outside of the marked chapters, at least compared to said chapters) and is generally darker in tone. If you're concerned you might start to read only to be turned off by these elements. See 7. Teetering on the Edge for an example of the graphic nature of violence or 9. Explicit Content for a fairly self-contained example of the most explicit of the sexual content.

Four story anthology
[participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge] [participant in #NaNoWriMo] Preface: This fiction will contain four different stories set up as a challenge for myself and to get better at writing. The challenge for royal road writathon is a 55.555 word goal while the nanowrimo challenge is 50.000 words. Reader suggestions is turned on, feel free to point out errors I missed and I'll fix them up! Chasing sun, napping softly: Cultivation/Xianxia genre. Some parts will poke at the ridiculousness of the Xianxia gerne. We follow the life of a magical fox monster, who doesn't like how the cultivation world works. Said beast seems to have more knowledge than is usual for normal magical beasts. In it's infinite wisdom it decided to search for the main character of the cultivation world to have a cozy and safe place beside him. Our fox will act as a "wise beast" to coast along on the main characters rise to greatness, all for peace, happiness and that amazing napping spot in the sun. The challenges for myself with this story: Writing in first person. Comedic effect between talking vaguely and sounding wise. The cost of heroism: A story more centered around fights and mental health of hired mercenaries/heroes. The world is infected with an eldritch corruption. Humans are trying their best to explore and clear out wilderness and the dungeons hiding in them to establish new cities. Lords seek for hired hands to do the professional work. Thanks to the setting, the story will show how awful pasts are the norm and how pragmatic people became thanks to that. People exchange their sanity for riches, fame and gods acceptance. Interpersonal relationships change drastically and quickly. The challenges for myself with this story: Writing grim scenes/imparting a feeling of how grim the world is. Writing fight scenes. Showing different mental states. Describing their influence on people during fights, walks or even after successful or failed campaigns. Who will be the next powerhouse? : A story about a gaming show, it's host Staan and the different participants. Stereotype characters, stereotype backstories, silly challenges and quizzes. The winner of those challenges gets powerups for their power system. Be it magic, ki, psychic power or anything else imaginable and unimaginable to reach the power of gods. The challenges for myself with this story: A softer tone for storytelling. Making the reader smile and enjoy themselves. A different try at slice of life story. I was left behind on earth as my family conquered another world and enjoys riches, but that's okey because I got a cheat too! : Stereotypical Isekai story parody twisted into an Urban Fantasy story. The challenges for myself with this story: Writing over the top and overdramatic scenarios/scenes Writing in first person. Walking into stereotypical scenarios and making them more dramatic/giving them a twist. Different type of humor.

We like to think there are no monsters. No magic, no gods, nothing waiting in the night but the stars and cold, hard science. It’s a comforting thought. It isn't true. Magic isn't common, mind you. Working forces is difficult in the Age of Man, and gods are limited in the ways they interact with the world. The great monsters of old have mostly been slain, or sealed away. But rare or not, the magic isn't gone. The great Working that protects us from the horrors of the past does not have the power to destroy such things. Instead, it created the Partition, a tapestry of worlds beyond the boundary of our own. There the magic roams, searching for a way to come back. I am a Knight of Avalon. One of the protectors of the Partition. How did I get this job? Poor decisions, mostly.
