Narae's POV
Instantly my mind went to the lamp Jimin came out of.
The lamp which luckily isn't in the store today but instead we left back at my house.
I calmly tilted my head to the side to act confused.
"I don't believe any lamps have been brought into this exact store for a while sir" I said to the male.
"Are you sure about that?" He said approaching my desk which Jimin hid under.
I nodded.
"Yes sir. Was it brought to this exact store because we own quite a number of stores here in South Korea" I said to the male.
"Your acting dumb with me aren't you young girl" The male said slamming his hands down on my desk.
I saw the blood covering his knuckles and a menacing look piercing down at me as I looked up at his rectangular face.
"Why would I act dumb with you when my job is to supply good customer service to all customers" I said loudly.
"Don't speak up to me like that or I will report you" The older male huffed angrily.
My heart sunk to the thought of me losing my job.
As much as it wasn't the best job, I enjoyed it.
I had a lot of memories working in the store and because a lot of jobs are now taken by machinery so there isn't many options for jobs.
So I find working in a older style store is very good and reliable so that I won't lose my job to a machine.
"Sorry" I said bowing to the male.
"How many other stores are there under this title in Busan?" The male said still gripping my desk.
"I believe 9 other stores sir" I said to him.
"Hmm, May I give you my number and if a lamp that is very old and rough looking turns up, can you call me and let me know? I left something- I left someone very valuable to me inside of it" The male said.

"Oh I'm so sorry for your loss" I said pretending to think he was referring to a dead relative which was cremated.
He went to say something but stopped himself.
He must have been wanting to say 'no' or something similar but if I didn't know about Jimin, I'd think he was crazy if he left something else actually living or someone inside a lamp.
I passed him a pen and some paper which was on my desk.
"Thanks" The male said writing down his number.
His cold voice stuttered the nice words out of his evil mouth.
He headed for the door.
"Sir your not going to report me?" I asked him.
"Not unless you hinder me finding my lamp" The male said looking coldly over his shoulder.
I gulped a little before faking a smile that he must have believed and he dashed out of the store and down the road.
I sighed sitting down while looking at Jimin under my desk.
"Who was that?" I asked Jimin who stayed under my desk.
"My old master" Jimin said putting his head on the back of my desk.
"Why would he be looking for you?" I asked Jimin.
"I don't know. Possibly after more power or something. Though he would have to have someone else rub the lamp because once your 20 wishes are up, then they are up. Though he wouldn't have control over me until you were done with me anyways, but I just can't face nor see him Narae. He will kill me if he knew I was summoned by someone else currently. He would make you wish awful things for him" Jimin huffed.
"Did you see the scars on his face?" Jimin said changing the subject slightly.
"Yes I did" I said to him as I looked down at him under my desk.

"Yea, I gave those to him" Jimin said with a shy smirk.
"Yah! Why!?" I said shocked.
"He was so power hungry so I once suggested he wish for power that can't be controlled and basically that power ate away at him until he screamed and wished for it to stop" Jimin said smirking.
"He was a horrible master" Jimin said to me.
"Damn, it seems you were both horrible to each other" I said.
Jimin nodded.
"That's true but he did lock me in a cage like I was a dog and make the most evil wishes" Jimin said shivering.
"Like?" I asked him.
"Like once he wished for me to be like his personal protection and basically I had to fight everyone he faced. He was almost like a boss of a gang but there were no other gang members" Jimin said.
"So he made me do all his nasty work and I got so injured from it. He even made me kill people but normally I don't tell people about that because it wasn't me. I was being controlled" Jimin said biting his lip.
"It's alright. I know you are no killer" I said to him.
"Ah thank god" Jimin said.
Then he grabbed my hand and gave it a huge yank so that I fell to the ground with Jimin.
I heard the sound of the sign on the store move.
"Yah do we have a customer?" I asked Jimin.
He shook his head.
"I just made the sign say we were closed. Don't worry" Jimin said as I heard the door lock.
I nodded as Jimin pulled me so my back was against his chest and he rested his face on my shoulder.
"You are so warm~" Jimin hummed holding me tightly as his arms wrapped around my front.
I giggled.
"You are so cozy~" I said to him.
He pecked my cheek.
"Good" He said.
I smiled.
Then I smiled wider as I had an idea.
One that I know Jimin would like.
"Jiminie~" I hummed as he sat their holding me.
Jimin holding me never made me feel unsafe or even bored.
Just being with Jimin made me so happy and content.
"Narae~" He whispered in my ear.
I smiled.
"Want to know a secret?" I asked him.
He chuckled.
"Of course" He whispered in my ear.
I felt my heart race from what I was going to do.
I smiled.
"I want you to be your light, baby, You should be your light~" I sung quietly.
I knew Jimin was speechless because he didn't even move.
I felt his heart beating fast in his chest.
He just listened as I sung his song promise quietly.
Of course because I'm related to both Jeon Jungkook and Kim Taehyung they passed down the gift that I could sing.
"So that you won't be in pain. So you can smile~" I carried on singing.
"I want you to be your night, baby, you could be your night~" Jimin sung in my ear softly.

The Warrior
The Warrior was a legendary man who possessed all four God-given gifts and fought in the great battle that brought peace for many generations. However, after his mother’s death, a visiting High Elder of the church told him the Warrior wasn't a mythical person of history. He was a man prophesied to come save the people of Santollia now. Someone who grew up in such humble conditions that even though everyone in Santollia knew the Prophecy of the Warrior, the man himself would not know it. Indenuel had been discovered! Now Indenuel must grapple with strengthening his four God-given gifts, learning to navigate the highest social class, and train for a battle he is not prepared to fight while a question plagues his mind. His mother knew the prophecy of the Warrior. Why did she lie to him? *Updates every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday
8 268The Beta Test
Our nameless narrator participates in a beta test for an early VRMMO game Meridian 60. That's not the real name but it captures the spirit of the adventure given the chronological and contextual era of the game. His character is unique and special but purely for mundane reasons and not because of any inherent or social significance. The first chapter which is mandatory to submit a story on RR serves as a bit of a prologue with some exposition, although I limited that to a reasonble level. I plan to begin releasing additional chapters starting Thursday, to align with the 48 hour submission approval process and also because I have something to do Wednesday. I haven't written anything but the summary and first chapter, nor have I plotted anything out. This is because my plan is to release roughly 34000 words a day, 10 chapters of ~12.5 pages each, for 3 days at which point the story will be complete. I'd have liked to plan for more but handling the interface tables and so forth needed for a data heavy litrpg slows down the writing process. 100k words is a bit short, a standard pre epic fantasy 300 page spec fic novel, but this is mostly a writing exercise and I am considering a longer project if I can maintain the pace. Probably do a different concept, maybe a dungeon core, over 5 days, since a 500 page novel is more common these days. Slight subversion of VRMMO stories Stat heavy/crunchy No paying your bills by gaming No out of game conspiracies No angst, interpersonal drama, or damsels/dudes in distress Schedule is 30000 words a day excepting the first chapter, a limitation of RRs fiction submission system Fantasy, high magic, male lead, no party, guild, or harem No gore, some profanity, no sexual content, and no current plans for anything traumatic
8 92Key That Opens Wonders.
In this new world Edward Linden found himself in, there are no swords and magic, nor spaceships and aliens. Just brave people venturing into the great unknown, with nothing but what they can carry on their backs protecting them from forces beyond control. Pushed by desire for riches, personal convictions, or simply curiosity, they invade highest peaks, and deepest depths. Where bridges are made of rope, and men are made of iron. And among them, a child trying to figure out whether this world - or the 'Modern Earth' he supposedly hails from, is but a product of a damaged mind.
8 130Heretic Immortal
If the world has no feelings and is cruel, then why do you accept it the way it is? If power, is what you need, then take it. If enemies are in your way, remove them. If a monster you have to be, then just become one.
8 62Sengoku Demon Chronicles
Sengoku-era Japan was already batshit crazy. Now it’s got demons. ~~~ Japan 1541-2. Miho, a young village guy [with a female name], is on the trail of his mysterious lost love when he unwittingly saves the life of Akira, a cynical ashigaru [low-level samurai]. By doing so, he incurs the wrath of a box demon who is way too petty to just let it go. After that, it’s mostly downhill. ~~~ Includes: purple mist demons, portals, Yuki Onna, other demons, warlords, ashigaru, a try-hard mage, an eight-tailed fox and an endless litany of pathological liars. Historically, it’s about as accurate as most Hollywood productions. Hopefully, a little better. ~~~ Note: due to having fewer followers than a no-touch, no-look sex cult, I'm taking a break from this for August/September. Will be back in October to finish off Volume 1 and start off Volume 2.
