Narae's POV
"W-what?" I stuttered.
He looked at me with a raised eyebrow.
"You think I don't know?" He said with a smirk upon his face.
I felt my cheeks heat up red.
"H-how would you know" I stuttered.
"I can see through walls Narae" Jimin said looking down.
"I knew you were there the whole time. I didn't watch you however I knew you were their" Jimin said which made me feel sick.
I quickly got up and limped over to the door to get some fresh air.
But Jimin walked over and wrapped his arms around behind my waist and lifted me up putting me back down in my seat.
"Narae" Jimin spoke looking at my panicked face.
"I won't judge you for what you did alright, so you don't need to run" Jimin said.
He went to place his hand on mine but it went straight through me.
"Can you lift me behind the wall please" I said to him.
He nodded before once again, I felt his hands on my waist lifting me up.
He held me closely to him.
Our faces were quite close.
My heart beat had quickened with our proximity.
He put me down on a desk behind the wall.
"Now why did I put you behind the wall?" Jimin asked confused.
I smirked.
"Just wanted you to touch me again" I said with a wink.
Jimin laughed.
"Less nervous after what you did now are we?" Jimin said biting his lip while looking at me.
"Not really but it is what it is" I said to him.
"By the way..." Jimin said making eye contact with me while leaning slightly close to me.
"You have a lovely moan so you shouldn't have tried to muffle it" He continued.
I stared back into his eyes blushing.
I felt a fire in my stomach erupting from how close Jimin was to me.
I want to be something with him.
I want to touch him in more ways.
My eyes locked with his eyes.
His eyes were honestly beautiful, a stunning deep rich brown that I would happily look into forever.
My eyes scanned down to his plump pink lips.
They looked very good and I so badly want to have a go at kissing him.
I just have never kissed someone before... and Jimin may not even want to kiss me back...
"Can we continue this chat back at my place?" I asked him.

He nodded blushing a bit.
"Yea sure" he went to leave and walk away from me as I stared at him.
"Right..." he hummed walking back over to me and lifting me up in a piggy back.
I giggled and let my legs dangle by his waist.
"Narae. How are you going to drive?" He asked while I grabbed my bag from my desk as we passed it.
"I will get my dad to go back and pick my car up. Can you walk me back?" I asked him.
"Yea sure" he hummed.
"If you want. You can meet my parents. However they may recognize you" I said to him as he left the store flipping the sign to 'closed' and locking the door for me while being careful with the floating key and public's attention.
"What do we do if they recognize me?" Jimin asked me.
"Is it possible to tell them the truth?" I asked Jimin resting my head cutely on his shoulder.
"You could however I can't. You could always say I'm a descendant of Jimin's from after he went missing maybe and say that I was in an orphanage or something?" Jimin said holding me while he walked towards my street.
"Let's go with the second option because otherwise my parents may not believe it if I said you were changed into a genie" I said to him.
"Alright" he said while walking now onto my street.
"Jimin" I said to him.
"Yes?" He asked me.
"Did you move closer to the wall so I could hear you moan better after you knew what I was doing?" I asked shyly while blushing.
I felt the heat of Jimins cheeks as my head was close to his.
"Yea. I did" Jimin said to me.
"Why?" I asked him.
"You seemed to enjoy it and it was weird seeing you so out of character because what you did, didn't seem like you. So it was intriguing to see your desires come out to play. And I suppose I knew it would fulfill your desire so I did it" Jimin said to me.
"Thank you" I said pressing my head against his neck.
"Your welcome" he said shyly.
"Jimin" I said again and he responded.
"Yes Narae" Jimin said.
"Do you have a girlfriend?" I asked Jimin.
Jimin took a deep breath.
"No. I had a crush on a girl before I went missing though and had dated girls in the past but since the curse I've never had one" Jimin answered honestly.

"Why not?" I asked him curiously.
"I can't touch them unless they wish for me to. I can't touch anything. I can't help them when I need to. It just takes a toll on both people and I feel useless. Being a genie plays a toll on both people and I just don't want to hurt someone I truly love and care for. And when all the wishes are up. I don't want the girl to be heart broken when I never see her again, nor feel the ache in my heart too knowing she is out their and I'm stuck inside a lamp" Jimin said as we walked up the footpath.
"I understand" I said feeling a pain in my chest slightly from what he said.
Jimin carefully put me down and helped me to the door holding my hand.
I don't know why it matters that he's not willing to date someone but it does to me.
Something in me wishes he was mine.
Would it be selfish to treat him like he's mine until he disappears.
I don't want to hurt Jimin or I.
But something about him is so desirable and I can't place a finger on it.
I rang the doorbell waiting for one of my parents to open the door.
"Narae you have keys-" my father said but was cut off when he saw Jimin next to me.
Jimin saw my dad and instantly was surprised to how similar he looked to Taehyung.
"You brought someone over" my dad said with a smile.
"Is this your boyfriend!?" My father said looking at me.
"No no" I said shaking my head while answering.
"We are just friends" I said to my dad.
"You look very similar to someone. I feel like I've seen you before" my father said as Jimin and I stepped inside my house.
Then my mother walked into the room and stared at Jimin.
"This is my mother" I said telling him who she was.
"He looks like Jimin!" She squealed walking over to my dad, Jimin and I.
"Oh my god!" My dad said with pure excitement.
My mother went to touch his face but I instantly slapped her hand away from his face to stop her hand from going right through Jimin.
"Yah why did you hit your mother!?" My dad snapped at me.
"Your wife was about to touch a boys face who you both don't even know. Please I don't want him to think my parents are crazy" I said heading for the stairs limping.
"Tell me when dinners ready. He can stay over for a bit" I said to my parents as Jimin followed me limp up the stairs.
My parents just stared at us shocked and embraced each other happily after seeing Jimin.
"Also dad can you pick up my car. I'm a bit injured so got lifted home so can you please maybe go pick my car up from outside my work" I shouted down the stairs.
"Sure thing honey" My dad replied taking my car keys from my bag which I placed on the dining table.
I made it into my bedroom and closed the door behind Jimin and I.
"Well that was hectic" Jimin sighed looking at me.
I giggled seeing him rest the back of his head against the door.
I felt myself limp over to the bed but Jimin wrapped his arms around my front which felt really nice and comforting and pulled me down onto my bed with him.
His chest was against my back.
I squealed lightly and he laughed.
I felt his muscles moving which made my heart skip a beat.
I moved off of him so I wouldn't suddenly fall through him when the curse realizes that he doesn't need to help me with my injury.
I lied down beside him on my bed.
He smiled at me and I felt myself smiling back.
"So what did you think of my parents?" I asked him.
"Your father is almost a replica of Taehyung. He looks so similar!" Jimin said.
"And your mother looks very sweet. She definitely has some facial features that look like Jungkook. Both you and your mother have the cute mole bellow your lip like him" Jimin said to me.
I smiled looking at his lips when he mentioned mine.
I felt a change with Jimin.
Less friendly.
More comfort and passion that was growing.
"I want to make a wish" I told him looking deeply into his eyes.
"And what might that be?" He asked me raising an eyebrow.

Tales of Ordinary, Completely Unremarkable Contractors
"Where life had no value, death, sometimes, had its price. That is why the mercenaries appeared." - Artur Xerxes, in A Century of Disappointment: Memoirs of a Travelling Dwarf It's never too difficult to land contracts for a set very specialised skills in a continent teeming with werewolves, vampires, giant leopards, undead and, god forbid, elves. The difficulty comes when these contractors find themselves suffocated in the dense atmosphere of this world's rigid - and mostly unfair - rules; death, suffering and misfortune await those unwilling to sacrifice to bend these in their favour. In this non-linear plot, you will observe a scarred and deformed farm girl cashing her first bounty posters, a seemingly ordinary barmaid at a tavern in the bustling centre of a sprawling, corrupt city and an enigmatic leader of a firm specialising in dealings any other would consider suicidal. Watch them all take everything to the next level at every available opportunity, and then feel dread at the thought that this still might not be enough to halt the physical embodiment of doom about to do what it does best Please, feel free to review and comment! Any sort of feedback can help me become a better writer and write more engaging stories for you. I used to update once every 3-5 days, but this rewrite is taking much too long...I do hope it will be worth it.
