The books stacked nicely together, perfectly proportioned. It made Jungkook wonder if Taehyung had done all of the shelving himself. He could see the older male doing so, placing every book in his spare time, it's something Jungkook had loads of time to do. He walked aside Yoongi toward the exit of the private library across Taehyungs living space. He was met with the vampire's shy, but fond smile. Jungkook hadn't known such a look could appear on the older, maybe it was Yoongi's presence.

He immediately found his way to Taehyungs still warming chest, letting out a calming sigh. He hugged the other tightly, swaying from side to side. The vampire smelled great, his strong scent filled Jungkooks lungs as he deeply inhaled. Not knowing exactly why he could smell the other so well, scents that weren't made by cologne or perfume, but earthy, forest Autumn scents. Like freshly cut oak tree, vanilla, and dark velvety roses. Jungkook couldn't understand how he so quickly identified such scents, all he cared for was smelling them more. He nuzzled Taehyungs neck with a soft hum of approval.

"Hey..." Taehyungs soft, mesmerisingly deep voice spoke. He caressed the smooth back of Jungkooks neck, cherishing the uncommon touch of the younger for now. Not really caring that two other people were present in the room.

"Ya'two done?" Yoongi's grumbling voice erupted in the awkwardness.

"Seriously? We're having a moment." Jungkook grumbles back in response, just as annoyed now that he's been interrupted.

Taehyungs looks sheepishly between the two, observing their interaction, which seemed friendly nonetheless. So he couldn't really understand why Jungkook apparently had a problem with his brother. Everything was now oddly confusing for him. They weren't having any tension right now, it was all playful. In fact the two appeared heavily acquainted. "I see you two have gotten situated."

"Oh, about that.."

"He was just joking. We had lots of fun getting to know eachother." Yoongi quickly interrupts, practically beaming. The fool.

"Yes! Lots of fun. Yoongi-hyung told many stories!" Jungkook additionally responds, smiling just as wide. Yoongi nodded in agreement after his comment, seemingly pleased. The human squealed and clapped his hands. "He also said he could help train me!"

"WHAT?"

"What?"

Yoongi and Taehyung both speak in confusion. Yoongi looked toward the younger vampire with question as well, as Taehyung gazed back. His face asking for validation. The older vamp didn't actually know what to say, Not once did that human tell him about such a thing!

"Umm..Jungkook.." Yoongi nervously glances at the crudely smiling human. Oh, that little bastard! He guessed it was his own payback for playing with the kid in such a cruel manner. It was only jokes! This human. He understood now why he didn't want to have anything to do with Jungkooks kind.

"Yes hyung? You remember right? After the book fell onto my head. You said you'd teach me in defense as joke! But, then I asked if you really would, and you said yes!" Jungkook lies without batting an eyelash. He smiles brightly while telling the whole story. A good liar.

Yoongi sighs in horror. He glances to his other side where Taehyung stood waiting expectantly. Well damn.

"Right. I guess, I did. I'm lazy you know, I probably forgot." Yoongi lies as well, scratching the back of his head. The awkward gaze from Taehyung still attached to his frame, he hated when the younger vampire did that. Staring into your damn soul. Could the other not find anything more interesting to watch so closely?!

"I thought I was going to train you, baby?" Taehyung asks the human, most definitely confused. His voice a bit rough, the situation coming off as very weird. He could have sworn a just merely a second ago Jungkook was nervous to even picture being around another vampire. Now suddenly he appears comfy with Yoongi? His brother? There's absolutely no way an hell Yoongi would agree to such a thing, as the older vampire knows his job. His very important job.

"You too! Just, you know....when you need to do things. I know how busy you can get being king. So I don't want to bother you-"

"Jungkook you're not going to bother." Taehyung interrupts growing slightly annoyed that the human suggests such a thing. Or would even think he couldn't make time for Jungkook.

"-Or have you make time for me that is needed for your kingdom. I don't want to take all your attention! Yoongi-hyung could take some of that." Jungkook stubbornly suggests. He huffs his chest.

"Take what? You're attention? He has things to do Jungkook. Just as I, a very important job." Taehyung fires back. His brows starting to furrow.

"Tae-" Yoongi tries to intervene, but is in turn interrupted by Jungkook whining.

"I know his job! But, he can make some time, just like today! Only for an hour! Is that too much?" Jungkook groans in response to Taehyungs narrowing, fiery behavior. He speaks calm hoping to not set the vampire off.

"Jungkook." Taehyung says sternly.

"Please? He's cool, who else could train me? Don't say you because I won't accept only you as an option!" Jungkook pouts.

"How about the new vamp right there?" Yoongi implys. He points to the figure behind Taehyung who has been miraculously quiet the whole time. No one noticed him there. The figure is made out to be Jimin. Jungkook suddenly remembers that the other man had come along as well. That was right! He heard the male's voice not to long ago, perhaps being so caught up in Taehyungs scent made him forget. "I have to train him as well though, but he looks fit. A well-trained newborn. Probably a knight or something. He could train Jungkook as I train him."

"Jimin?"

"Uh..hey...Jungkook.." Jimin hesitantly responds. They haven't actually spoken since the incident and the vampire was still very nervous about how the human would react to him. Not knowing what to expect he stood incredibly still. Practically a tree in the background while the other three made a fuss.

"Are you okay that, Jimin?" Taehyung asks politely.

"I-its okay...although I'm not that good. I probably know most of which Jungkook was taught as well."

"So it's settled, now Taehyung, is that a problem for you? Come on, Jungkooks just trying to do you a favor. You need it. The kingdom has been looking for you for years Tae. They will expect you to be present alot more often. At every single calling as well. You can still train the kid, he'll need your training too." Yoongi softly spoke. He's staring at Taehyung waiting for a good reaction at least. Jungkook had seemed to still be frozen after noticing the youngest vampire present. The human was sweating and didn't look to well just then.

"It's fine." Taehyung grits out, the words barely making its way through his grinding teeth. His expression sure as hell didn't seem fine with it. He agreed and decided to drop the topic. "Yoongi I need to speak with you. It's about Jimin. We also need to discuss the calling. 'They' are not too happy."

Yoongi quickly carried his legs behind Taehyungs long strides, out if the large doors. Left behind, Jimin and Jungkook awkwardly glanced at eachother, not really having an ice-breaker. The human decides to speak first, slowly taking steps forward. Their encounter feeling quite weird. For the first time Jungkook actually felt more comfortable being beside Taehyung, a vampire king before Jimin, also a vamp, but also his best friend and guardian since before he could speak. They played together and trained together. Jimin became the family that Jungkook lost. The family his father wouldn't give. How could he have ever given Jimin up so easily?

"It's okay if you don't want to train with me, I-i understand.." Jimin interrupts before he can form any words.

"N-no! I...it's fine. Just like old times?..." Jungkook sways his feet. He rocks his body side to side and shakes his hands, quietly clapping them together. A habit he picked up whenever he became ectemly uncomfortable or nervous. Of course, Jimin knew this as well. He watched Jungkooks movements and picked up his patterns of speech and body language. Not on purpose, it was just learned during all the time they spent together. Jungkook could never lie to him. "Ri.....right?"

Jimin's eyes widened. The red blush went to his ears, they felt hot. He reached to cover them. Jungkook found the courage to look up to him, almost guilty. He doesn't mean to hear it. He doesn't mean to intrude, but the small mumbling reaches him, even with his ears covered. He uncovers them to see if maybe it's Jungkook. It's not, is it? The human's mouth wasn't moving. The small mumbling grew louder the more he tried listening, as they slowly became more distinctive he realised something. These weren't mumbles. These were Jungkooks thoughts.

I'm sorry..YOU'RE NOT SORRY. I'm such a bad person. YOU'RE SUCH A BAD PERSON! I pushed Jimin away...LOOK WHAT YOU DID TO HIM! I'm so sorry. YOU'RE A HYPOCRITE!

"Hey Jungkook." Jimin calls out. The boy doesn't respond so he reaches out to tap him on the shoulder. Jungkook jerks away in a panic. He responds with a soft "yes?" But his eyes are still haggard, dazed. Listening to those voices, trying to reason with those voices. Jimins had those voices before, they became real once. He can't let Jungkook sink again.

"It's okay. It's not your fault." Jimin holds Jungkooks face in his palms. His baby soft, bunny cheeks were still there. He can't remember how long it's been since he has seen Jungkook. It felt like years. All that time thinking Jungkook was going to be practically a different person, and he was still the same. "Im foolish for not speaking with you before...I should've told from the beginning. I should've trusted you. I did trust you. I was just so afraid! I didn't want you to hate me. I knew hope much you disliked them, and I didn't want you to look at me the same way. I couldn't bare it." Jimin feels the buried tears coming through, pushing themselves forward without his permission. He goes to speak again with Jungkooks unwanted silence, but the younger male interrupts him with a shocking response.

"Forgive me."

Jimin is stunned. He can't put into words of how he felt. How shocked those words made him. He surely didn't expect that. Why was Jungkook asking for forgiveness? It was him, who should ask for forgiveness. He should beg. Not Jungkook. Never. The poor human had been lied to for ages, and blinded from the world. The younger vampire should have protected him from it all, and yet, he failed. Jungkook should never apologize. Never.

"No."

Jungkooks eyes widen. He's shocked as well. The response so harsh, he thought Jimin would never forgive him. It was now his turn to shed those forbidden tears. He felt as if he lost his friend. His best friend. His world was slowly shattering all at once, and he couldn't make out the words to form. His lips trembling, eyes blurry. Almost unable to see Jimin clearly.

"No, no....no! I...Jungkook don't cry. Shit." Jimin panics.

"I'm sorry!! I'm so sorry!! It's my fault, I'm sorry!!!" Jungkook sobs. Jimin officially hates him, it's over. Everything thing they've had. Their friendship. Their brotherhood. All gone, because Jungkook was selfish. Pathetic. A stupid hypocrite.

"I didn't mean it that way Jungkook! Don't be sorry! Please!" The young vampire shakes the human to look him in the eye. He's frowning at the tears from his best friend. "Don't cry...I love you kookie. You're my best friend."

Jungkook stops the sobs immediately. Quietly sniffling. "Y-you...mean it?"

"I promise." Jimin sticks out his pinky towards Jungkook. The younger pouts, but takes the picky into his own. They lock pinkys, then connect their thumbs, as a promise. Just as they would as children. "It's locked now." He smiles fondly.

Jungkook sniffles, wipes his nose, and smiles back.

Taehyung tried to remain calm after the horrible chat with Yoongi. I seemed like everything itched his soul, he was annoyed by the slightest noise. Those old bastards dare to tell him of what he can and can't do?! They do not control him. They do not care for this kingdom. It is Taehyung who created this coven, his parents who began it. He will not cowar to those useless elders. They may have a voice for all vampires, but that does not include his home. They didn't have a voice when one thousand reapers came running into his kingdom, killing everyone in sight. They instead coward in fear, and went silent, turned their backs on those who called them in their weak last breaths. He will never forget their tormenting screams.

His parents were the ones who had to step forward in those bastards place, and they in the end, lost their life for it.

Taehyung didn't want them here. Their voice. Their opinions. He wanted them gone, but he couldn't kill them. He simply had to deal with it. He honored peace in his his kingdom. In order to keep that peace he must deal with it. Many vamps still worshipped the elders, and seek their opinions, answers to problems. Killing them would be detrimental. He needed all of them together. With peace, there is unity.

With unity there is strength.

"Hey..."

"Hey."

Jungkook sat on the bed, fingers playing with eachother. He nibbled on his lip, a small attempt to stop it from trembling. He couldn't tell if Taehyung was angry with him. He wanted to know. Something was wrong He could feel it. It made him nervous of the thought that it could possibly be him.

The vampire was quietly getting underdressed for bed, which was normal considering the setting. Jungkook still could tell the way Taehyung simply untied his knot on the tie. He was annoyed and yanked it in frustion, but the action wad so small he'd have missed it, had he looked somewhere else a moment.

"Are you..."

Taehyung looks at him. Hands stopping at the button. Full attention directed toward the human, so quickly it startled him. Jungkook stops talking. It was an immediate reaction, he gulped. Continuing to speak, he looks away from the vampire's curious eyes.

"Are you..angry with me?" Jungkook finally asks.

Taehyung frowns, then tilts his head. "Honestly?"

Jungkook nods. Gulping just a tiny bit more. The sweat forming underneath his growing length of hair. The beads of sweat began to drip down his neck.

"Just a little."

"I-"

"It's okay. I understand. It's really not you, that's got me annoyed. I'm fine, so don't get worked up over it." Taehyung doesn't seem fine. He's obviously annoyed and Jungkook can tell. Didn't he tell Taehyung it was pointless to hide such things from him?

Jungkook sucks at his teeth in disapproval. "Come here."

Taehyung frowns. His brows come together, trying to figure out if his imagination was speaking,or if he had heard wrong. Not really understanding.

"Here, now."

Jungkook flicks his finger sternly. Taehyung slowly walks over, still confused. When the vampire reaches the end of the bed Jungkook gives it a few pats. "Sit."

"Jung-"

"Don't talk. Just sit."

Taehyung shuts his mouth, surprisingly. He makes a quiet groan, still in the dark about Jungkooks plans. He wanted to know the reason behind all this.

"You don't have to tell me, but don't lie and say you're fine." Jungkook whispers. He takes Taehyungs tie that is now basically destroyed from the vamp's frustration. He unties it slowly and gently. Next he moves on to the buttons that the vampire started to work on.

Taehyung watches him intently. His eyes moving with Jungkook and only then did he realise how much power the human possessed over his entire being.

"I want to tell you. I will tell you. It's just pissing me off so much right now." Taehyung growls. He's frustrated again. "Those sick bastards want me to give Jimin the traitors penalty! For simply wanting to join! At my request. They had the audacity to tell me I only had one choice if he were to stay!!"

Jungkook didn't understand what "the traitors penalty" was, but he assumed it meant no good.

Taehyung stands, pointing in his daze of rage. "My family built this place, from dirt! Those lazy pigs do nothing, but bathe in the gold that my parents sacrificed their lives for! I do not answer to them!" The anger slowly rising once more. The audacity of those people. The mere audacity that they'd suggest such a thing. Thinking about the possibility of the same reaction toward Jungkook just sets something off inside him. "Fuck them!"

His eyes glow red. "You did nothing for them! NOTHING!! When they called you did nothing to save them!!!" They have a gradient of purple and gold. A knew beautiful, yet frieghtning color.

"FUCK YOU! HEAR ME, BASTARDS?!! I'LL SEND YOU TO THE HELL WHERE ALL MY DEMONS RESIDE!" Taehyung roars in fury. He smashes the lamps with his screams. The walls crack and shake. He's screaming at nothing, but also everything. As if releasing all his anger for once. His powers exploding. They startle Jungkook, he practically shrieks. He's absolutely terrified.

What the hell could he do?
