《I Demand It | TAEKOOK✔》Brother of the King
Advertisement
Jungkooks heart pounded. He started sweating heavily. He knew something would go wrong! He warned Taehyung, But just as last time the vampire left him alone. He's not safe here in a house full of vampires. Not safe.
"Woah, woah!"
The human yanks away from the vampire who worridly captured him in his cold, chilling arms before falling from the faint dizziness.
"Don't touch me! Stay back!" Jungkook hissed. The touches felt like burns on his skin. At the same time they felt like frozen sparks. Nothing like Taehyungs electric shimmer.
"I see, I'm sorry. I shouldn't have did that."
"What?!" Jungkook screams confusingly. Why wasn't the damn vampire attacking him yet? What the hell was going on? Why had the vampire just appeared? Why was it apologizing?!! He had so many questions.
"Damn it, Tae's going to kill me." The vampire snarls to himself. Mumbling angrily. He redirects his attention toward Jungkook again. "I'm sorry human, I didn't mean to scare you. Just please don't like..pass out or anything!"
"Y-you are friends with Taehyung?" Jungkook asks quietly. Still worry of the others presence.
"Of course! He's my brother. Well not blood wise, but time wise. He sent me here to make sure no one comes in uninvited, like me I guess." The vampire chuckles. The air is light, not harmful and gloomy like around the other vamps. Maybe if Jungkook had noticed earlier instead of a full on panic he would have realised the vampire seemed almost friendly. "I suppose I startled you, don't be so worried. I'll protect you with good care. As his marked one, it does indeed become my duty, anyway."
"W-whats your name?"
"Oh right! I'm yoongi. I'm the one in charge of training the vamps around here. So you don't have to be afraid of any others coming by any time soon."
The vampire find himself comfortable on top of a tall shelf in the room. The elevated flight picked up after his feet, he didn't know vampires did that. He only ever saw Taehyung end up on the ceiling not the slow process of levitation or was it flight? He couldn't tell.
"Yoongi."
"That's me."
"You train vampires, like to fight?" Jungkook questions. He might have a good teacher on his hands, besides Taehyung. Without realising for a second he almost trusted yoongi to easily. Almost allowing himself to ask to be trained by the unknown man. Why was this man so easily trustworthy? The man sure didn't look the part. He half expected the man to be like a snarky old man.
"Oh no!" Yoongi laughs. "With this body? I don't do much fighting. Not physical anyway."
"So, what do you do? L-like how do you train them?"
The vampire hops down off the shelf, landing infront of Jungkook with a surpringly soft thump. Finding himself landing in a thick, comfy chair. Probably the vampire powers. If it was him he'd have either died or made a thump so loud after busting his ass. Lucky for them.

"I train them..sort of mentally. It takes hard work, for food. I teach control, mostly the new borns. They need it. A lot of newborns come to us lost, uneasy. Hungry. I help them focus, become in control of that hunger. Believe it or not my job is very hard and very important."
Jungkook finds himself deeply engaged in the conversation. It was like a grandparent telling out war stories. He just had to listen in. The little curious child jumping put again, any time new information about vampires were spilled. Purely for his own fascination.
"New borns are new vampires?"
"Yes, that's what we call them."
"How can you tell if they are newborn? Are you able to?" Jungkook scoots closer to yoongi. Getting quite comfy in his seat. Feeling warm "Are they actually born? Like vampires are only turned right? From humans?"
"Well, not always. But, that's for another day. As for if we can tell, only the older vampires. It's easy for us, because when can sense them. Smell them, and read their mannerisms. The way they behave. Usually it's the eyes."
"Are there assorted colors with levels? Like levels or stages to it. Do you develop different abilities with growth or is it just birth?" Jungkook quickly piles the questions out of habit. They come out so fast he can't stop them. His blabbering stops when he finds himself embarrassed. "Sorry, I just. It's kinda fascinating. I don't know much about vampires as I thought, as I was told and I always wanted to hear your side of the story."
"No problem. It's pretty cool that a human would be interested. Your like my little apprentice." Yoongi chuckles rubbing over the fluff of Jungkooks head, who surprisingly allows the action to happen. A soft blush appears, not too much. Just a bit shy. "You're so cute. I approve."
"I-...W-what?!"
"Taehyungie chose a good one. I thought he went and marked some random human he got stuck with. Taehyung doesn't make mistakes often, but when he does, they're extremely bad for some reason. Luckily you're not one of them."
"T-thanks?"
"You're welcome!"
Yoongi grumbles with a loud yawn. Stretching and scratching his back. He really looked like an old man sometimes. Like the grandfather Jungkook never met. "So where were we? Oh right! Abilities. They are souly by clan name. You are generally assorted powers from your parents clan. That's how it worked in the old days. Now powers are all jumbled because vampires went crazy and started turning random humans. Alot of vampires don't even have powers or ablilites anymore. It's not in their gene."
Jungkook tilts his head in question. "So what about Taehyung? He got his powers from his parents? So that means he was birthed? How? Vampires can't produce children."
Yoongi hummed at the question. The human was a very hard thinker. Maybe too hard. He didn't know someone could dig so deep without barely knowing anything. The human was a very curious soul. It lead him to believe Jungkook knew more than he put off. "That's secret. Humans aren't allowed to know those traditions, no offence. Most newborns will never know either. It doesn't happen nowadays so it's unnecessary. Back then things happened according to plan, agreements, alliances, and deals."

"I know you won't tell me, But could these deals and alliances possibly be between different magical species?" Jungkook digs deep into his hard working brain. Trying not to push too far, but just enough. Maybe he would get a good answer. He wished he could just know. Not knowing frustrated Jungkook. He pouts. Such a let down.
"Maybe, you're on to something. You're a smart kid."
"I'm not a kid."
"Well compared to me, you're non-existent, So take it or leave it." Yoongi chuckles. Basically saying I'm hundreds of years older than you so take the next best thing. Well what the hell could he say to that?
"-and I really wanted to know about blood type, Like does it taste better for blood types? Or is it preference? Maybe mutual connection makes it taste better? Hyung? Yoongi!"
"Hell in a god damn flame! I didn't know you would talk this damn much. I'm a sleepy asshole okay? I'm lazy, I know I said it's cool, but damn kid you make me exhausted."
"But, vampires don't need sleep..."
"Doesn't mean I don't like it. Or want the peace of sleep. So please for a second calm down and read a book, there's a whole history section at the back. Find out in that, I am not your private dictionary kid." With this yoongi shooed him away with a hand. Levitating onto the book shelf again, out of Jungkooks reach. He put a book over his face and in a flash he hears snores.
"Tsk...protector my ass.." Jungkook whispers, grumbling at being told off. Actually feeling insulted by the sudden outburst. It wasn't his fault of being so curious. There was just so much he didn't know. "Better off getting protection from a sloth."
A book comes flying and cracks him on the side of his head. "Ow!" He immediately reacts with a sharp pain to his temple. He felt a headache coming along. He looked up in a shock. "That hurt!"
"Oops, my bad." Yoongi snorts.
"SERIOUSLY?!" Jungkook storms away angrily. He mumbles curse words, planning yoongis death. He stomps the ground without thought.
"Hey, hey Jungkook! Wait!" Yoongi calls worriedly.
The human turns around to the vampires worried face. Arm streched out in Jungkooks direction. He looked guilty, almost as if he'd apologize.
"What?!" Jungkook gasps.
"Could you put that book on the shelf?" Yoongi falls out, head going back in laughter. Holding his stomach in a fit.
"Are you kidding me?!!"
"Hey, look a book!"
Jungkook ducks in fright that another book would hit him. He turns to see if one had come from above. Disappointed when he looks back and there's absolutely nothing there. Turning back to yoongi, red. He's so pissed it's hard not to rip the pages out of that book.
"HahaaaAaa!! It was nothing there!!! Stop it you're too funny!!! I'll die!! Ahaaha!! Ha~aaa!!" Yoongi mocks him, pointing and hollering in laughter. He's so furious!
Taehyung if you don't come back soon, I might kill your brother.
______________________________________
Jungkook sits back in the chair, quietly reading a book. He decided to check in on "The Pures" as Yoongi fell asleep. Curiously turning the thickly cut pages with cursive ancient writing, dipped in ink. Must've been written a long time ago. He tried making out most of the sentences, finding it a little difficult with the small, secretive cursive writing. Another hand writing seemed to follow steps, like a sequence to something. Similar to a cook book. A recipe. The first thought that came to mind was a spell, then it popped. Witches! The powers had something to do with witches. It only made sense that witches could do such a thing. But, He still couldn't figure out exactly what that was, they did. What was their role.
As Jungkook continued reading he noticed something odd. A repetitive named popped up. Amelia. Who was Amelia? She seemed important. Her name had appeared in almost every single page.
"Jungkook!"
The boy snapped the book shut, and slid it beneath his shirt again. He recognised the voice immediately. Taehyung. The man was back, and he brought someone else.
"Jungkook are you there?" A light timid voice questions into the open air.
Jimin.
"I'm in here! The library, I'll be out in a sec!" He yells back. Scrambling to put the book somewhere unnoticeable. It was much to interesting, too important to risk Taehyung taking it away and keeping it secret.
"Yoongi-hyung! Taehyungs back! Wake-"
Yoongi hops down from the shelf, stretching once more. "Did you have fun reading? Find something that interests you besides my old stories?" He smiles genuinely toward the human, not feeling a boundary between them. Despite their nature. It felt like family.
"Never, I find it much more interesting listening to you speak." Jungkook chuckles. He couldnt understand why. Why was it that this man felt so comfortable? So nice? Had he misjudged every vampire here? We're they all this welcoming? This comforting... nice? What happened to vicious blood suckers? What happened to blood shot red eyes? Were they all lies? Had he been lied his whole life?
"Come, kid. Taehyung's getting anxious."
"Of course he is."
"Care to tell why?" Yoongi deeply chuckles. Maybe the man suspects something already. Something strikes him. Did yoongi have telepathy as well? Could he hear this whole time. Yoongi? Can you hear?
"I may have implied that I'd kill you, if he didn't hurry. But, not like seriously though!!" He rushed out. Fearing the response.
"You're too cute!" Yoongi scruffs his head again, a bit harder this time. Walking away without another response. Had he just been brushed off? Was that yoongi's was of saying "in your dreams, kid"? He could practically hear it now.
How could a compliment feel so insulting?
