After a few days, Will and some of his other friends had encouraged me to create my own Twitch so I could live stream for other people to watch because supposedly their fans liked it when I hung out with them. So under the username that I was now using on everything I had started an account which had started gaining followers which was amazing but not needed. I had no intentions of making streaming my work like my brother did, it was just a hobby or so.
Will had basically forced me to buy a pc of my own and he had gotten some of his fans to help out with donations which was amazing and I was so thankful. Will told me that the one we bought was actually really good which I believed because I know almost nothing about the world of pc building. I barely know anything about Minecraft but I was learning how to play with Will and the guys.
"Hey guys," I greet my stream, taking a sip of the tea I had basically begged Will to make me before he left for his office. We had a collab planned for today but we had been collabing a lot over the last week. Will had asked for me not to get a camera, something about him worrying about me which is what I am used to. He is protective but I get it and I also have no want to get a camera anyways, I like keeping my face away from the public even though I look like my older brother. "How is it going?" I smile and look at my chat. I don't have many people in my chat like my brother usually does, I have 3 thousand but I am perfectly fine with that.

"Hi River!" I look over to see that there is a donation being read out to me. "Is this your first independent stream?" The voice asks and I see that the message came through with a donation of five American dollars.
"About that," I grin and pull up Minecraft on my one monitor and watch my chat on my second. I had been talked into buying two monitors by both Wilbur and the fellow at the store. "Will!" I cheer and tap on my desk excitedly.
"River!" He responds back and I know he is streaming on his end as well.
"Will!" I repeat a smile growing on my face.
"River!" He cheers and I giggle.
"Will!" I cheer and throw my hands up into the air happily looking to my chat who is going crazy about the two of us hanging out even though we do it pretty much every stream of his. I'm not in his 'you laugh you lose' streams because I don't show my face and I laugh at pretty much everything, especially when I'm confused which seems to happen a lot with the weird videos his fans send in.
"I'm going to get kicked out of this building!" Will shouts back.
"You better not." I shout happy that it is just me in the apartment and that our neighbors don't mind the two of us being loud. Will has been in his new office for a little bit now and he hasn't gotten kicked out yet. He has gotten a noise complaint though which is quite amusing.
"Chat," Will speaks up, not muting his mic while he talks to me because we've just come to an agreement that we can read out whatever we get from our chats. "I have no idea what we are doing today chat." Will says into his mic and I take a sip of the water that I was told to keep in my room by Will for when I was streaming. "See, River basically bullied me into agreeing to play with her today."

"Says the one who literally bullied me into creating a Minecraft account and buying a pc," I shoot back and grin a little, pulling my thick chocolate coloured hair behind my shoulders.
"Ah," Will hums, "Well," He tries to argue.
"No wells," I shake my head, a grin on my face as I bring up Minecraft on my screen to let my viewers see what we are going to be doing today.
"Fine," Will gives in and I can practically see that look of amusement he has on his face. "So what are we doing today child?" He asks and I pout a little.
"We are starting a survival world." I cheer and he laughs a little amused.
"Hardcore?" He questions and I shake my head no even though he couldn't see me.
"No I would die immediately," I admit with a little smile on my face and I look to my chat to see that they are saying that I am going to do great. "Just normal mode." I laugh a little and start up the world, making it so Will can join my server very easily.
"Sure," Will says and I log into the server glancing around. In a second I am told that WilburSoot has joined the game which is great and I see my chat is spamming Soot Pog because the Soot Siblings are hanging out.
"Why didn't you do RiverSoot?" I read off a donation because I turned off the thing that reads out the donations.
"I didn't do RiverSoot because if I did I would just take over Wilbur's and I couldn't bully my big brother like that." I grin and head Will laugh on the other side of the call.
"I'm the best Soot anyways." Will defends himself. I find it so funny that our fans argue, jokingly obviously, about which one of us is the better. The fan art from people is absolutely amazing and I could scroll through Instagram and Twitter for the longest time just looking at the art.
"You wish," I laugh and punch his character before running around to the closest tree and collect some of the wood. "Come on you loser, we need to build a house before the night."

The Mystifying Diviner
Content warning, there is cursing in the story and there will be some pretty heavy sexual innuendos in it also. I don’t really plan to write gore, but there will be fight scenes. Fair warning to readers, it is a slow start. But hopefully it is enjoyable for you to read. Follow the story of an old chef who was lucky to be selected to become a system host. Well maybe not so lucky, because gaining the system killed him. He will be given a system that might not be the best match for him. While also having to deal with a snarky system monitor who might not be that helpful most of the time. He will also use his new found powers to enjoy life in a new younger body. What you can expect from this story is bad writing, poor grammar, and slow pacing maybe. Food, cooking, comedy, slice of life, fighting, exploring, tournaments, scamming and probably face slapping. I mean who doesn’t like a good face slapping? This is my take on a cultivation story, a lot of Eastern stuff will be crammed into with a mix of Western. This story started as a goal for myself to write 60,000 words in a month for NaNoWriMo. I was able to do it even with taking days off and not writing. I plan to keep writing the story, but at a slightly slower pace. I am aiming for 2-3 chapters a week now with about 4-7k words written. This is only posted on RoyalRoad currently, and I have no plans to change that for now. Journey of Infinite Steps
Science Fiction/ Low fantasy Iliad. Oliver just wanted a job that could keep his family fed, and himself sane. Was that so much to ask for? Apparently. As he instead ends up facing monsters and dodging his way to another world instead. Competent as he views himself figuring out how to reopen a portal back home by himself is defiantly above his knowledge base. Of coarse it would be vastly simpler if he could keep 'getting back home' as his primary goal. 'Staying alive' is unfortunately a far more immediate and relevant goal. I will post any content warnings on a Per Chapter basis. Divisive content will be as skip-able as I can reasonably manage Discord Link will be available for those interested in assisting editing/ coauthoring. Especially character writers/those willing to work out the math/ economies and world building even if only as a wall to bounce ideas off of.-----Full Synapsis contains serious spoilers----- Looking to take care of his family, Oliver finds himself flung into a faraway place. Try as he might, his Iliad will not be simple or peaceful as he'd like. Alas the slow and unending war of Chaos and Order has long memories and longer reach. If Oliver is to make his way back home it looks like He'll have to solve the universe one fight and mystery at a time. Especially as the Laws of Physics shift, often on a per world basis. Hopefully there is still a home to come back to.

Contact Through Voided Lenses
[participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge] Edit: Fixed some inaccuracies in the synopsis. The void is a vast unexplored ocean filled with various wonders and dangers all waiting to be explored by those brave enough to travel and record. Many souls do find themselves brave enough to face the vast distances, the various risks to personal safety and do the hundreds of task required on a craft. However, at times the void itself can be boring with absolutely nothing to do but as time pass and more and better technology is reached, things got better. The various trips got faster, communications became faster than light and you can be home to see your loved ones after only months now. Through the various planets whether rocky or gaseous, the various stars whether small or giant, the various systems both eerily similar or completely alien. As part of an expeditionary scientific exploratory survey craft, one could see that the void offers no reprieve from all the discoveries and wonders. At times, it can feel empty and silent where no soul can hear you scream and at others it can be overwhelming with sudden phenomenon that can overwhelm the brightest of minds. The void itself is a truly fascinating ocean where one must chart the various islands or drown in its deadly tidal waves. But the question still remained no matter how you try to hide it in of itself… is there truly other intelligent life out there? Are we alone in this ocean? Those very questions still haunt the minds of those on the crafts themselves as they brace for every jump ready for the unknown and the known. Many would try to explain that yes there is other intelligent life out there whilst other still say no after 2 centuries of continuous flight out of the home system. Still, those are questions that bury deep in the minds of the crew and those at home as the voidcraft jumps to a system with a single yellow star orbited by 8 other planets with one crowning blue jewel being the 3rd closest with its 5 oceans and 7 continents, a planet called Dirt which is inhabited by a primitive species called Humanity. Hello, author here and this is my newest dive into writing particularly for the Writathon currently in progress being my first one. I hope you give me story a try but in case you still want more information on what you’re getting into, below are some pointers about the story itself. First Contact: CTVL is a story about a first contact scenario between an advanced alien civilization and a slightly more advanced modern day humanity on their planet called Dirt. Characters: The story will take place mainly on the perspective of the alien visitors themselves though there will be human POV characters who will show how the rest of humanity react through media and forums. Action: It won’t be an actual alien invasion but you have to see for yourself how well first contact went. Sci-Fi: I will be very forward here, I WILL bend the rules of physics in order to add in parts of the plot and there WILL be parts that makes absolutely no sense whatsoever. Theme: It will be a brooding story talking about the futility of pe… Just kidding, it’s mostly wholesome stuff to be honest here. Alien: The aliens themselves will… actually why should I tell you, you have to go and read it to find out what the aliens are though I will draw a few things here and there to aid in the process. Extra tidbit: If you are a grammar nazi or someone who really wants a realistic scifi story... this story is probably not for you at all. Anyways, that’s pretty much all I can say before I spoil something major of the plot itself, the story is slice of life so make sure that type of story is what you like because I am terrible with anything else as I found out, anyways, have a good time everyone and good luck to the other Writathon participants.
