"What!" The player exclaimed.
"All talk..." Miyagi said while passing by Sakuragi and he has the ball.
"Huh..."
"I don't know where his confidence is coming from..." Mitsui followed Miyagi.
"Mi-chi!"
"Dou ahou..." Rukawa murmured and followed his sempais.
"Rukawa!"
Akagi punched Sakuragi's head. "Can't you even concentrate? You idiot!" Akagi turn his back to Sakuragi. "We're in the middle of a game here!"
"Ow..." Sakuragi whimpered.
Akagi faced Sakuragi again. "Sakuragi, don't let us down."
"What?! Stupid Gori!" Sakuragi exclaimed.
While Miduradai players are distracted, Miyagi immediately passes the ball to Akagi and successfully scored. Miduradai players and the people by the bleachers are impress with Miyagi's speed.
"Good joy Ryouta!" Ayako cheered. Miyagi looks at Ayako with blush visible in his cheeks. "Don't look over here! Stupid!" Ayako yelled.
"I can get it!" Number 7 of Miduradai said but Miyagi swiftly passes the ball at his back to Mitsui, and he scores.
Uozumi suddenly remember where he saw Mitsui form in shooting. "Mitsui! It's Mitsui!" he shouts.
Current score is 16-18 to Miduradai.
Ryonan players finally realized who were the 2 new players in Shohoku. Number 7 Miyagi Ryouta and Mitsui Hisashi. Uozumi concluded that Shohoku have grained a level in their skills.
Sakuragi has the ball, he is guarded by Miduradai's number 4. "Bastard... He's been pushing me since we've started playing... Maybe he's trying to use some cheap trick...?" Sakuragi whispered. "Referee! He's been pushing me ever since the beginning of the game." He complained to the referee.
"Sakuragi! Don't worry about him! Keep the ball moving!" Akagi yelled.
Sakuragi made a quick turn and attempt to shoot. "Didn't I say! I'm the king of the boards!" He yelled. Before he shoots the ball, he is blocked by Miduradai's number 4 who was fouled.
Sakuragi is about to charge at the Miduradai's number 4 but Akagi holds him back.
"Foul shot! White (Shohoku) number 10." The referee said while holding the ball.
Sakuragi turn at the referee with a confused expression plastered in his face.
"Oh no." Ayako said.
"Did someone teach him how to shoot a foul shot?" Kogure asked with a dismay expression.
"Uh, think no one did teach him." Y/n answered with a nervous expression.

Back at the court,
"Foul shot?" Sakuragi asked.
"Number 10." The referee called.
"It's not going to go in anyways just get the rebound." Miduradai's number 4 said to their player number 8 who agreed.
Sakuragi heard them and is about to charge but get punched by Akagi. "It's your first foul shot. We never expect you make it in the first place! We're hoping that you'll get it in!" Akagi said to Sakuragi with his arm around Sakuragi's shoulder.
Sakuragi remove Akagi's arm around him and looked at him over his shoulder. "It's only shooting me miss!? Nobody's going to block me when I'm shooting! Too easy!" Sakuragi arrogantly said.
"Can't cross the line!" Akagi remined Sakuragi.
"I know! I didn't need you to tell me that!" Sakuragi said.
"Two shots." The referee said and handed the ball to Sakuragi after the players go to their positions.
Sakuragi is starting to get nervous. "Hanamichi, just aim at the front of the rim." Miyagi said to Sakuragi.
Sakuragi looks at the front of the rim.
"No! You should aim for the back! Look at the back and shoot!" Mitsui said.
Miyagi and Mitsui started to argue in the back of Sakuragi. It did not help Sakuragi's nervousness.
"It's going to be a tie if you get both shots in, Sakuragi-senpai! It's all up to you!" Aida shouted from Ryonan bleachers.
What Aida shouted did not help ether. Sakuragi became more nervous. Due to Sakuragi's nervousness, he is charge of 5 second violation.
"Sakuragi, what are you doing? You just missed a perfectly good chance! You idiot!" Uozumi shouts.
"This is fouls shot... is really hard to grasp!" Sakuragi murmured.
Akagi punch Sakuragi's head. "You idiot! It ended up like this because of you, always wanting to show off! You haven't practice shooting before, you should miss!" Akagi lectured.
"But! If..."
"You just have to learn everything accordingly, and that will be good enough! I was bad at shooting foul shots too." Akagi said.
"Yeah... Feel free to make fun of him... He was really bad!" Mitsui butted in their conversation.
"Watch it! Or else I'll kick you off the team!" Akagi yelled at Mitsui.
"You...!" Mitsui exclaimed.
"It's the second shot, Sakuragi." Akagi said.
"Just calm down and shoot." Akagi.
"Aim at the back!" Mitsui.
"The front!" Miyagi.
"Why not shoot with your eyes closed!" Rukawa.
"Don't all talk at the same time!" Sakuragi yelled at the 4.
"Second shot!" the referee shouted after the players get back in their positions.

"Rukawa! Get ready for a rebound!" Akagi ordered and Rukawa hummed in understanding.
The players at Shohoku bench are shouting at Sakuragi to calm down.
Sakuragi threw the ball, in baseball way. The ball bounces back in the front rim, Sakuragi jumps to rebound the ball but Rukawa bit him at it and scored.
"You... You stole my rebound...!" Sakuragi shouts at Rukawa.
"How should I know." Rukawa bluntly response.
The crowed is starting to cheer on Rukawa.
Sakuragi is frustrated. "Damn you Rukawa, for stealing my ball!" He yelled.
"How should I know!" Rukawa repeated.
Miduradai has the ball, number 4 is attempting to shoot but got blocked by Sakuragi, Akagi, and Rukawa. Number 4 didn't force to shoot; he passes the ball. Unfortunately for him, Miyagi got the ball. Shohoku is now on fast break.
"I won't let Rukawa get the most points again! It's time for genius Sakuragi to show everyone his skills!" Sakuragi assured himself. "Pass it to me!" he yelled at Miyagi.
Miyagi passes the ball not to Sakuragi but to Rukawa and he scores.
Miduradai askes of a timeout. Y/n distributes their towels and drinks with the help of the players at the bench.
Y/n gives Rukawa's towel first. "Kaede-kun you're so amazing as always!" Y/n said with sparkles in her eyes.
Rukawa raise his hand and ruffle the short girl's hair. "It was nothing." He spoke. "Are you going home after the game?"
"I didn't bring my bike today. And onii-san is here too. So, I don't know but I can talk to him later." Y/n explained.
"Okay that would be nice." Rukawa responded.
"Fighting again?" The two heard Anzai-sensei.
Miyagi and Sakuragi suddenly put their arms around each other's shoulder. "How could we!" Miyagi said.
"We're so happy playing together!" Sakuragi added.
"Everybody, listen up!" Akagi shouted. Rukawa, Mitsui, Sakuragi, and Miyagi gathered in front of their captain. "We are very strong! We have to conquer Kanagawa!"
Later at the match.
47-100 to Shohoku. Sakuragi has the ball and is guarded again by Miduradai's number 4, he got frustrated and shoved number 4 out of his way.
"Offensive foul!" The referee shouted.
"Why are you always picking on me!? That bastard, he – " Sakuragi yelled at the referee and Miyagi holds him back.
"Number 10! Raise your hand! If you keep this up, you're going to get a technical foul!" The referee shouted.
Sakuragi raised his hand. "Hanamichi! Don't lose your temper! That guy's good at these little cheap tricks!" Miyagi said to Sakuragi.
Miduradai has the ball, he is going for a three-pointer. Rukawa blocked him, Miyagi has the ball. Sakuragi immediately run in the other side of the court, Miyagi passes the ball to him. Sakuragi uses all his strength just to dunk but he did not dunk it in the ring, he dunks it in the head of Miduradai's number 4.
Miduradai players and coach says that Sakuragi did it on purpose and Sakuragi keeps denying their clams. Miduradai's number 4 is knockout in the floor.
"Out!" The referee shouts and pointed at Sakuragi.
"Disqualifying foul?" Akagi asked.
Note: The player internationally broke the rules getting disqualified from the game.
"No, he has 5 fouls." The referee answered.
"Dou ahou..." Rukawa said.
Shohoku won with a score of 114-51 defeating Miduradai High, battling in the second round.
Y/n's point of view
We won the match, after that I went to find onii-san so I can inform him that I'm going with Kaede-kun. I saw him by the vending machine with Aida-san.
"Onii-san." I called and made my way to him. "I will be going with Kaede-kun today. So, you can go home without me." I smiled at him.
"Oh? Are you going on a date with this Kaede-kun?" Onii-san said and he mocked my voice when he said Kaede-kun.
"I don't sound like that!" I exclaimed at him. "If you don't have anything to say, then I'll be on my way."
"Okay, be careful. Even though you never call me onii-chan." Onii-san sadly said.
I ignored he's last sentence. "Okay, I'll be going now, be careful too." I said and made my way out of the stadium to meet Kaede-kun.
I saw him on his bike.
'He even looks handsome in his side profile.' I thought. I made my way in front of him.
"Come on, let's go." I spoke.
We walk together with his bike on his side. We talked about his view about the recent game.
"Y/n-chan." He called while facing forward as I looked at him. "When we win against Kainan, I have to tell you something but you don't have to say anything if you're not ready yet."
"Oh! Okay, what is it? Can I get a hint?" I asked curiously.
"Nope, no hint." He answered.
"Oh, come on!" I pouted.
Kaede-kun laugh and looks at me. "You will have to wait." He teased.
We arrived at my station and said bye to each other. As I seated on the train, I keep thinking about Kaede-kun's question.

Most likely, it was just the funniest thing the Author could think of at the time of writing. This book contains many references to other works. It will probably be best enjoyed by individuals familiar with at least some of the following: 1) Computer games2) Fantasy in general3) Science fiction4) Tabletop RPGs5) Conspiracy theories6) Corporation work life7) Long forgotten prophecies uttered millennia ago in almost as forgotten languages under a starless night three dusks before the great convergence8) Filling any government-mandated form9) School10) EnglishMy ultimate goal is to make as many people experience something akin to joy while reading (think ~a bit louder exhale through the nose). It doesn't mean every scene will be funny or joyful because that's not how this stuff works. I can neither confirm nor deny having any other hidden agenda outside of that.
