Shohoku players is shouting with joy for Akagi's return. Current soccer is 76 -70 in to Ryonan.

Akagi lectured Sakuragi about stop fooling around when there's a game. Akagi ask for a member change.

Sakuragi's friends were cheering that Akagi is back and shouting 'Gori!' while tossing some confetti around. Sakuragi's friends suffered with a punch in the head by Akagi.

When Akagi got into the court he called Rukawa. Rukawa sits down beside Y/n and she put he's towel over his shoulders.

"You did very well Rukawa!" Ayako praise.

"You were amazing, as always." Y/n said, trying to comfort him.

"You've got one minute of rest..." Anzai-sensei spoke. "You're going to be fighting the last 2 minutes. Can you make it?"

Ayako and Y/n smiled at what Anzai-sensei said.

"There's only 3 minutes left! Go Shohoku!" They cheered.

Akagi scored, 76-72 to Ryonan.

Uozumi rushed to shoot the ball. Akagi yelled to get the rebound but Sakuragi was doing it all wrong from the beginning, he started to remember how Akagi taught him all night before the match.

Akagi slap the ball away from Uozumi but Sendoh got the ball, he shoots but Akagi touched the ball. The ball hit the side of the ring, for the second time in the match, Sakuragi got the rebound and scored. 76-74 to Ryonan. Shohoku cheered because the gap is decreasing.

Ayako encourages the other freshmen that are on the bench to work hard to be able to compete with their Akagi-sempai by their side.

Currently Shohoku keeps scoring, Kogure just pulled off a 3-pointer. The score is 76-77 to Shohoku for the first time since that match started. Shohoku shouted with joy.

Sakuragi's friends keep cheering 'Megane!' while throwing confetti around with Haruko, she suddenly got flustered when she realized that Rukawa was sitting in the bench in front of her. Everyone praised Kogure for the 3-pointer he pulled off.

Suddenly, the air changes, Sendoh became more focused and determined to win. Akagi felt it, He looks at Rukawa. Sendoh has the ball he got pass all the defenses including Akagi's block. Shohoku is shock of what happed while Ryonan is shouting in joy. Sendoh keeps scoring until the current score is 79-77, Ryonan's on the lead again. Akagi instructed to Sakuragi that he will be handling Sendoh but Sakuragi refuse before they get to say a word Sendoh run pass through them and shoots the ball. The game continued with the score of 81-79 to Ryonan. Sendoh keeps scoring and Shohoku were unable to stop them.

"Sempai!" Rukawa called. "I'm about ready... To play in these last 2 minutes."

Shohoku member change number 5 out number 11 in. Anzai-sensei called Sakuragi and Rukawa.

"What...!? Hold on Gramps!" Sakuragi yelled. "I don't want to do it!"

"I really don't want to." Rukawa argued back

Anzai-sensei just laugh.

"Gramps! You saw my spectacular performance just now!"

"No, it wasn't."

The referee come to them saying that Anzai-sensei should call a time-out but he refused and said he is done talking. There are 2 minutes left with the score of 83-79. Sakuragi and Rukawa double-team Sendoh, he can't get out. Suddenly Sakuragi got distracted and got pass him, Akagi is going to block his shot but he passes id to Uozumi and scored. Rukawa and Sakuragi started arguing who let Sendoh get away from them.

"Come at me first-years." Sendoh spoke.

The game continues, Akagi shoots and scored, 85-81 to Ryonan. One minute left, Shohoku players started panicking. Sendoh has the ball, he was about to shoot but Sakuragi suddenly jump from behind him and slaps the ball out of his hands, they are now running after the ball. Sakuragi got it but then Sendoh slaps it out of his hand but got the ball immediately. Sendoh was defending him, he can't get out. He passes the ball behind Sendoh he instantly regrets it; he passed the ball to Rukawa. Only one point behind thanks to Rukawa's 3-point shot.

Shohoku cheered for the successful 3-point shot Rukawa just pull off. Only 30 minutes left. Ryonan is just passing the ball until the time end. 15 minutes Akagi steals the ball and passes it to Rukawa, while running to the other side of the court, Sendoh slaps the ball out of his hand, he immediately retrieves the ball and passes it at the back of Sendoh and instantly regrets it. Sakuragi has the ball and make a commoner shot, Shohoku celebrated.

"It's not over yet!" Rukawa yelled.

Sendoh has the ball, he runs to the other side, got pass all the defenses and scored in the last minute. 87-86 is the score, Ryonan wins the match. Everyone in the court left except Sakuragi. He kept saying 'Pass the ball.', Akagi had to drag him out of the court, he got out of Akagi's grasps and try to run but he tripped and saw his shoes is worn out.

"You have done a great job today..." Akagi spoke looking down at Sakuragi who's putting his shoes on. "Come! Let's go shake hands! Sakuragi!"

The match ended.

"Thank you, Takoa-sensei." Akagi spoke.

"It's only been a year, but your team has improved greatly." Takoa-sensei said while shaking Akagi's hand. "Truly amazing!"

Shohoku players and Ryonan players are saying their byes and thanks to each other. Sendoh made his way to his little sister and Rukawa, he reached out his hand to Rukawa but he slaps it away.

"Umm... I'll be going to Ayako-senpai." Y/n said and run off to find her senpai.

"You know I never expected that my imoto has a great taste in men." Sendoh spoke. "She always talks about this 'Kaede-kun' of her and I didn't expect to meet him like this. Oh well, see at the tournament."

Sendoh left to have a talk with Sakuragi, they shake hands but Aida and Sendoh thinks that Sakuragi squished his hand too much. Shohoku players with their managers and coach left Ryonan high.
