Y/n's point of view
'I still can't believe I'll be a part of the basketball team. I'm so excited!' I thought as I skip happily to the gym.
I opened the door and I saw Akagi-san was yelling at Sakuragi. They stopped when they felt my presence by the door. They looked at me.
"Umm hi, I'm looking for Ayako-senpai. Is she here?" I asked while looking at my feet.
"Oh, you must be the freshman that Ayako talked about." Akagi-sempai said while making his way towards me. "I'm Akagi Takenori, third year, the captain."
"It's nice to meet you Akagi-senpai." I said while Bowing down. "My name's Sendoh Y/n. You can call me Y/n."
"Ayako is not here yet but you can wait here." He spoke.
"Thank you, Akagi-senpai but I think I should wait for her outside." I spoke.
Akagi-senpai nodded and I made my way outside and waited for Ayako-senpai.
Akagi-senpai started introducing himself to the freshmen.
"Y/n-chan!" Ayako-senpai shouted while making her way towards me. "I'm glad you could make it."
She was wearing a purple cap, pink shirt, blue bike shorts and running shoes. While I was still wearing my uniform.
"Of course, I couldn't miss it for the world." I said happily.
"Okay, from today onwards you will be the team's assistant manager or second manager. Whatever fits." Ayako-senpai said and she realized that I was in my uniform. "I should have told you to bring extra clothes, sorry. Do you want to use mine? I have a spare."
"No, it's fine." I assure her. "I can still move freely."
After convincing her about my clothes, she explained what job should I do like helping her take notes about how will each player will improve their skills, refiling water bottles and giving their towels but she said it was mostly on taking down notes.

"Do you think you can handle it?" She asked.
"Yes, I think I can." I confidently answered.
"That's great! Now, let's go." She said and opened the door.
"Sorry everyone, were late." She apologized while I followed behind her. "Oh! New members are already here?!"
"Hey, you are late! Ayako." Akagi-sempai said.
"Nice to meet you! I am the basketball team's manager, Ayako, a sophomore." She introduced. "Nice to meet you."
The new members did not say anything.
"Hey hey hey, I said 'Nice to meet you' did you not know how to say 'Nice to meet you back'?!" Ayako-sempai said while waving her finger to the new members.
"Nice... Nice to meet you!" The new members said.
"That's more like it." She said while holding her hips. "Well now, I have here is our new assistant manager or second manager. Introduce yourself to everyone."
"H-hi I'm Sendoh Y/n. You can call me Y/n, I'm from Fuoka Junior High." I introduce. "It's nice to meet you."
"You also from Fuoka Junior High?!" Ayako-senpai said with a shock expression. I nodded. "So, your also my junior! I also went there so as Rukawa."
"Kaede-kun?" I asked her.
"KAEDE-KUN?!" Almost everyone in the gym shouted in shock.
"W-w-what? D-d-did I s-said something w-wrong?" I stuttered, starting to feel scared.
"No but you called him by his first name." Ayako-senpai said still with the shocked expression.
"She was my classmate and my first friend." Rukawa plainly said. "She just transferred their when you graduated."
"Oh, that's way." Ayako-senpai said. She turned to me and hold my shoulder. "Oh well, take care of Rukawa."
Now I feel normal again.
After Ayako-senpai talk to Kaede-kun, she turned to Sakuragi.

They talked about how Sakuragi and Akagi-senpai one-on-one basketball match.
"Before practice... I have one thing to make it clear to all of you. Our goal this year is to win the National Championship!" Akagi-senpai said with determination. "Therefore, are practices will be really difficult! You should be prepared! Understood?!"
"Of course!" Everyone replied.
"Shohoku! Do our best!" Akagi-senpai yelled.
"Yes!" Everyone yelled.
The started warming up.
Ayako-senpai turned to me.
"Y/n-chan, why don't you start taking notes." She said to me and hand me her pen and notebook.
I nodded while starting to observe the players.
3rd person point of view
"Oh! Haruko is here too?!" Ayako stated while making her way by the door where Haruko and her two friends stood.
"Hi Ayako-san!" Haruko greeted.
"What are you doing here?" Ayako said while smiling at her and leaning closer to her face. "I don't think you're here to support Y/n-chan. So, you came to see Rukawa?"
"Wah! Ayako-san!" Haruko panicked and covered Ayako's mouth. "No!"
"Well let me tell you, Y/n-chan and Rukawa are in first name basis." Ayako said to Haruko. "They were classmates but it's still kind of weird because he gives Y/n-chan permission to call him that but not me, I'm their senpai since we all graduated to Fouka Junior High."
"Ayako! Here! Sakuragi is all yours." Akagi said while holding Sakuragi like a lost puppy. Y/n approached them. "It's all up to you. He is a beginner, make sure you he learns all the basics!"
"Yes!" Ayako replied.
"Should I help you with Sakuragi, Ayako-sempai?" Y/n asked.
"No, it's fine I can handle him." Ayako assured. "You go back take notes."
Y/n nodded and gets back in observing the players and taking down notes.

Medley of Fates Worse than Death
Rick wakes up in a world unknown to him. He doesn't know what exactly happened or why he is there, he just feels he's not from that world as if he had Dissociative amnesia. Soon after waking up, he gets attacked not once, not twice but three times in a single day. Our hero can know how strong enemies are thanks to a special ability of his, but the thing is... What good does it do to know just how weak you are compared to a deadly creature chasing you? This is a LitRPG Fantasy Adventure in which battles are won (or lost) with strategy and wits as our protagonists aren't necessarily the strongest... So if you enjoy more strategic battles I think you will love this story!About the chapters: I will post mostly 1,300 or so word chapters, I love weekly manga and feel like that pacing is similar to the one in a weekly serial chapter, hopefully, you enjoy these chunk-sized chapters :) I only do this for fun in my free time so I think I will probably post a chapter a week, but if my patreon ever gets busy I might put more time into my hobby xD If you feel like checking out some of the newest chapters, I have them over on my Patreon (Currently 5 chapters in advance): www.patreon.com/rija Extra info (Might get spoilery): As the story progresses I intend to add more strategy, politics and economics into the story, but it will still be mostly a LitRpg action-adventure. (Also if you had read my synopsis previously I changed it a bit because the elements I mentioned before in the synopsis won't come into play until much later into the story, and that's why I changed it.)
