- Better be Defective than a Puppet -

In the manhwa, the Big Breeder Chung purposely summoned a weak champion villain, the mother- long tailed tit which turned out to be a small- sized and harmless- looking bird with eggs on its head.

"What should we do, Khun?" Boro asked him, unsure of what he should do after what they had been through. "....should we try attacking it?"

Khun thought of it for awhile before he answered, "...hold on! This could be a trap! That octopus before was stronger than it looked too."

Rak disagreed, "You're too cautious, Blue Turtle!!"

"Shut up, alligator."

It was clear that he had an ominous feeling.

Why would Big Breeder kindly gave them a weak opponent as their champion villain? It was because he apologized for their last mission where the octopus suddenly went stronger than how its strength was supposed to. He apologized and said that this small harmless bird was a compensation. But both Charlotte and Altaira didn't think the same thing.

'What a good "this is not a place to torment you but to send you off to greater place". You are giving us a weak champion- villain so that we could end its life and also finishing this stage, killing our own comrades with our hands right?'

The more this Big Breeder Chung spoke, the angrier they felt. They were hiding and waiting for the right time to beat this man up. But even though they knew that they should hide their anger for now, it was hard to do that.

But it wasn't like there wasn't any other way for them to cool down the anger that they felt right now. Khun's and Rak's argument could make them feel more relaxed.

Unlike Rak who had always been simple- minded and always go all- out no matter what was the circumstances, Khun had a calculative mind and he won't make a move unless he was certain that he was right. But because of his calculative mind, he nearly failed the test in the Floor of Tests and died in the hands of Hansung Yu. And Rak, thanks to his simple- minded, he survived this test.

But the challenge that they were facing right now was no different than the Floor of Tests. Only, it was reversed. Without being cautious and looking down on their opponents, as well as recklessly and impulsively making decision, not only their friends will die in the hands of Big Breeder Chung, but also killing themselves off. This was what the Big Breeder Chung wanted.

His plan will definitely succeed if only Khun lowers down his guard and decides to kill the bird right now. But unfortunately, Khun was that kind of person. It took him a long time before he was certain to kill that bird. Even when 30 minutes had passed, he didn't change his mind.

"That bird is hiding tremendous power!"

"Tweet?!" The bird seemed to be shocked to hear that.

"Look! It's panicking!! Because I hit the nail on the head!!"

"Panicking?! It's probably just confused!" Rak argued.

"If we attack it, a dragon will appear and-!!"

Big Breeder Chung regretted a bit not to summon a higher- level villains. It would have make things easier. Even though right now Khun was hesitating to attack, to defeat the champion villain doesn't require time- limit because usually, most of the warriors defeated them and left to another stage rather quickly. It was rare to see people like Khun.

But after thinking for awhile, he didn't really feel worried. Sooner or later, they had to kill this bird. It was just the matter of time for they couldn't stay in that place forever.

Rak couldn't stand it anymore and tried to run through the bird. But unfortunately for him, he was stopped by the lighthouse and was electrocuted.

"Where do you think you are going?"

Boro, ".........."

While waiting for Khun to make up his mind and to agree to attack that bird, the four others were having their own time. Sachi was talking to Hockney who responded while drawing his picture and Altaira was playing cards with Charlotte.

"Hey, I'm your younger sister! You should have been lenient on me and let me win!"

"Let you win? If I keep being lenient on you, how will you grow up? Look for Bam if you want someone to pamper you. Or.... you could also look for Khun."

Charlotte slightly blushed as she said in annoyed tone, "What does it have to do with Khun?"

Altaira had that smug smirk, "Right."

'Do you think I'm blind? Do you think I'm deaf? I might be insensible, but not to that point, idiot. I grew up with you for at least 15 years. Do you think I can't see your thoughts? Simple- minded' he thought while looking at her with a smirk.

Charlotte, 'Somehow I feel that this man is mocking and laughing me inside.'

Khun wasn't deaf. His lips curled into a smirk. For a moment he was distracted.

Rak, even though he had been electrocuted several times, he still didn't give up. He was still persistent. Right now, on his mind, he just wanted to kill off that bird and say good bye to this stage.

But why was it so hard to kill a mere harmless bird?!

"I'm gonna attack it!"

Khun immediately remember the most important thing right now when he heard Rak's annoying voice again.

"No!"

The mother bird was sweating seeing these two warriors arguing.

"I'm telling you, something's not right about this! Don't attack it!"

"What the hell are you talking about? You coward!"

Rak who couldn't stand it anymore kicked Khun away with his little leg, "Just get the hell out of my way, you idiot!"

"Agh!"

"This is my chance!" He went running towards the mother bird.

"Ugh....! That bastard!"

He put his arms around Rak's neck with veins popping, "I'll never let you go-"

"Damn it! Just let go of me! LET GO!!"

"NO!!"

At the same time, they heard a loud explosion.

The explosion came from the fruit of good and evil.

"Shoot.....it looks like the demon has awoken" said Big Breeder, looking worried.

"What?!"

"The demon must be angry because you don't finish the grand quest quickly" he said. "Actually, if you don't finish the grand quest quickly, the evil energy starts rising again and a demon awakens. Didn't I tell you?"

"WHAT!? WHEN DID YOU TELL US THAT?!"

"Well, anyway, don't worry about it. You absolutely just need to beat that bird. Then it will all be over."

Mi- Eum was confused. He looked at the chief as this had never happened before. But just like him, Dee was confused as well. This had never happened until today. She looked at Big Breeder Chung as she wanted to know the reason why he was behaving like this in all sudden.

Altaira simply can't hold himself back any longer. He laughed over Big Breeder's words.

"Hey, don't you think your lie is a bit obvious?" He asked, crossing his arms with a grin towards the Big Breeder. "What do you take us as, 5 years old child?"

"What?"

"First, you leveled up the octopus in our previous mission just enough to kill us. After then you gave us an easy and weak champion villain and said that this was the compensation after the octopus in the previous mission suddenly got stronger for no reason. Lastly, you made up a lie about the demon and want us to finish this bird quickly. What motive do you have, Chung?"

"......." Big Breeder was a bit lost for a moment. He wasn't sure whether it was coincidence or not but the 5 words that he said were exactly the same 5 words that he said when he cheated and leveled up the octopus earlier on purpose just to kill them.

He didn't expect that there will be a warrior who could see through his scheme. But so what if a warrior could? In order to accuse someone, he will have to provide the evidence of his crimes. Without the said evidence, then this warrior was just slandering him.

".........I don't understand what you mean."

"I figured out you will say that" Altaira replied. "And I also don't have the evidence that you purposely leveled up the octopus before to kill us."

Big Breeder Chung just smiled over his words. But that smile stiffened when Altaira continued his words.

"But that doesn't mean I don't have a way to prove my theory."

"What?"

"Big Breeder, if you truly aren't our enemy, then why don't you let us go and check the fruit of good and evil?" Altaira asked. "This will prove everything."

If Big Breeder Chung let them go to the fruit of good and evil, then they will definitely find their friends there. But there was no way Big Breeder would let that happen. It will just ruin his plan. But if he doesn't let them go to the fruit of good and evil, it will also make him appear like he did have something bad on his sleeves.

Big Breeder, "........."

He chuckled.

He chuckled before he laughed.

"W- what is that turtle laughing about?"

"I didn't expect you to know about all of these...." he said. "But as an warrior, you should have just finished your task here and leave to another stage. You should have known that if you know too much, I have no other choice but to get rid of you."

"You finally revealed your true face" said Altaira. "But if you want to kill our companions over there, then I'd say that it's too late."

He glanced to the fruit of good and evil and he noticed that there was something moving towards them rather quickly. As there was an explosion, something was flying towards them. The things that flew towards them seemed to be the piece from the angry "demon" that Big Breeder Chung said and the same thing that the intruders had destroyed before they land on the ground.

The one who did that wasn't just one person. There was a brown haired man with a pair of golden eyes, a brown haired woman with a horn on her head and a pair of yellow eyes and a familiar man who neither of them wanted to meet with blonde hair tied with a red hairpin and dressed in yellow hoodie. There was also a man, dressed in sort of armor while holding a sniper in his hands. Whenever that man in armor looked at the Big Breeder, his eyes reflected anger.

Charlotte's eyebrows frowned when she saw that man. Who else could that man be but Hansung Yu?

But a ranker could no longer enter the Hidden Floor. She strongly believed that this wasn't the real Hansung Yu, but the data that he left behind once he had finished his journey in this Hidden Floor.

But Hansung Yu was still Hansung Yu, no matter whether he was a data or not. Somehow Charlotte felt a sudden urge to hit him now considering his strength right now has yet to reach the current him outside the Hidden Floor.

"WHAT A RELIEF!!" the brown haired man, Bam, said with a smile and the red thorn showing itself. "IT LOOKS LIKE WE'RE NOT TOO LATE-!!"

By the time his golden eyes saw a certain crocodile, he was shocked.

Khun was surprised to see Bam there, but he was even more surprised to see Hansung Yu with them!

"BLACK TURTLE?!" Rak shouted in disbelief. "Where did you come from, Black Turtle?"

"Brother!"

Bam caught Charlotte who jumped and hugged him. Even though they were before a strong enemy this time, it wasn't a surprise anymore that she behaved like a child and prioritized Bam first.

'I know that I should have been happy that he is here now, but I still feel annoyed whenever I see him' Altaira thought with an awkward smile.

"BAM!" Khun called.

"Khun! Charlotte! What is Rak doing here?"

"We met him before we got here!"

"Brother, it's a long story" Charlotte answered as she broke the hug. "I will explain it to you later on."

She then looked at the Big Breeder Chung, glaring with that pair of beautiful golden eyes of hers, "But we have to deal with him first."

Bam agreed with that as he turned his head around and looked at Big Breeder Chung. He had heard what Big Breeder Chung had done.

Big Breeder Chung was just like an administrator in this town. In this Town of Wandering Minstrel, they worshiped him as if he was a God. But being a God, he wasn't protecting his citizens and people. In outside, he appeared to be protecting him. But actually, he was bullying, tormenting and harassing his people. With his power in his own domain, he could just easily erase the victims who he bullied.

And unsurprisingly, the victims whose memories were erased will no longer recall the humiliation and betrayal that they had been through. Foolishly, they will keep worshiping the one who bullied and suppressed them. He wasn't a God, but a demon in disguise.

Batis, the man in silver armor and was holding a sniper in his hands, he knew the truth. And when he knew the truth, he decided to write a song that was supposed to share the truth to the townspeople. His song was heard by the others and because of his song, the townspeople who were once bullied and lost their memories had recovered their memories and rebelled against Big Breeder Chung.

Frustrated and furious, Big Breeder Chung caught Batis and figured out that he was the culprit. He tore his mouth and put a curse on his daughter, forever she will never be able to speak. Then, he pushed the two of them to the fruit of good and evil where there was no way out.

As the "demons" who were trapped in the fruit of good and evil, whenever any warrior finished their journey in this Town of Wandering Minstrel, they will die. But because they were data, they will be resurrected again. Big Breeder Chung was very aware of this. He did this on purpose so that they will always suffer from death and reborn again and again.

Even when they found the door to escape, with their current ability, there was no way for them to break it. Big Breeder was just laughing at them. Even though they find a door, escaping the door was just impossible unless they were "special". He put the door in the fruit of good and evil to give them a false hope, but he didn't think that today they will really break through the door that he prepared.

This time Batis had encountered with the Big Breeder Chung again. Now that God gave him the chance to avenge himself and everyone else, why would he refuse it? He had waited for this day for a long time.

Khun had heard from Charlotte that both Bam and Endorsi will arrive to this town soon enough. But he didn't expect that there will be a data Hansung Yu here!

"Why is that guy with you? Is he a data?" He asked, showing the hints of irritating and disliking.

The data Hansung Yu sweated dropped while laughing awkwardly, "Haha. It looks like they have so bad history with me too......"

It was more than "bad history" these two words. Charlotte thought that he could only blame himself.

Even though both Mi- Eum and Dee were surprised, they still didn't do anything. Batis glanced to Rose for a moment before he looked at the Big Breeder.

"Let's e...end t...this" he lifted his sniper. "Big....Breeder!!"

His mouth had been ripped off by the Big Breeder. Because of this, he could no longer speak normally, let along singing like how he used to.

Big Breeder looked at Bam as he was certain that he was the one who came quarantine along with the others. He was lost in words for a moment before he pointed his spear to him, "How dare a lowly human data interfere with the grand quest? This is an unforgivable behavior. Kill him!!"

The two guards like toys next to him charged towards Bam and the others.

"The soldiers are coming!"

"Bam! I need you to do a favor!" said Hansung Yu who jumped towards them. "Go through that door behind Big Breeder!!"

"That door?!"

There was indeed a door behind Big Breeder.

"Yes. The Big Breeder here isn't the real one! That door behind him leads to the Big Breeder in another area. That's where the real Big Breeder is!"

"Oh....!"

"For now, take Medley with Endorsi and get out the sight of Big Breeder! He's not cautious so you'll definitely have a chance to escape! The moment that he gets distracted, you have to open the door and go inside! You're the only one who can open the door!"

Big Breeder thought that these people were starting to make a move against him and his plan was completely destroyed right now. Neither of the warriors will believe in his lie. Therefore, he raised his spear and threw it to the champion villain.

Charlotte carefully used her green vine and wrapped it around the champion villain's wing before pulling it towards her direction. Since the bird was weak, she didn't want to hurt it and ending up hurting their side. She had to be careful of it. Swift and steady, she pulled the bird before Big Breeder's spear could hurt it even the slightest.

She smiled in relief when she caught the bird. The bird was currently confused.

"Damn it...." Big Breeder Chung muttered. He should have done something to that brown haired woman before.

"We can't kill the champion villain yet right?" Charlotte asked Hansung Yu.

Hansung Yu was taken back at first before he replied, "That's right!"

Charlotte then looked at Altaira who nodded his head as if he could see her thoughts. Charlotte looked at the bird with a lovely smile that somehow made the bird had a bad feeling.

"Sorry mother bird. But you have to suffer a little."

The next thing that the mother bird knew, it was wrapped around green vines and was thrown to someone else. Altaira caught that bird and immediately left the scene.

".....tweek....?"

"........you shouldn't have thrown it away like that" said Bam. "What if Big Breeder kills it when you threw it?"

"Ah- don't worry. That Big Breeder is stupid" Charlotte nonchalantly replied and she didn't lower the volume of her voice. "Except for him possessing an extraordinary power as the admin or the administrator here, he's actually very slow- witted. Put his power aside and you could see that he's just an ordinary man. He isn't even as half as good- looking as you, brother."

Big Breeder Chung, "..........."

'That brat-!'

His vein on the forehead popped. He heard her words clearly. But compared to her, he was more interested to greet an old acquaintance first. He looked at Batis.

"Batis. What on earth did you expect when you leave that place? Did you think there would be some kind of solution when you escaped there?"
