Two Months Later
Testing Grounds on the Train
└──────═━┈┈━═──────┘
"We will now start the test for advancing to floor forty two. Regulars, please approach the starting line."
The twins, dressed in brown walked and stepped on the starting line. They stopped there.
The starting line was colored in red and there was the word "start" that was written in white.
"The object of this test is to destroy the big crystal shards. You must destroy all of the big crystal shards in this area within the next hour in order to pass."
'The crystal shards.....'
If she had to describe about the crystal shards, then those crystal shards that were floating on the Shinsu looked like fishes made from crystals. And what's more, they were quite big.
But size wasn't a matter or a problem for them anymore. They have see lots of people and things with gigantic sizes that they could care less of it. What they couldn't care less was that their bodies were on their limits right now and that they had to finish this test as soon as possible.
"Now, let the test begin!"
'Shinsu Black- Hole Sphere....the Shinsu skill that could only be used by irregulars who have their own privilege to control Shinsu without the contract made with administrator, just one of it is more than enough to deal with these crystal shards.........!'
Gathering their strengths and Shinsu on their hands, a glowing bright yellow ball appeared on each of their hands as they leapt forward and used it to the crystal shards that were heading towards them.
Just two spheres from the Shinsu Black- Hole Sphere was more than enough for the two of them to clean the area and destroyed all the crystal shards. The area that used to be filled with lots of crystal shards was clean now and the twins passed the test.
The brown haired woman turned around and smiled to her brother who smiled to her back.
≪ ◦ ❖ ◦ ≫
After taking the same test which was to get rid of the crystal shards, Khun went to look for Sachi and Boro who seemed to discuss about something. After two months he spent with the Silver Dwarf, Khun who was dressed in blue coat looked thinner than before. Surely, whatever skill he was training with the dwarf, it must be something cool and worth his two tiresome months.
"But Charlotte and Bam....have they still not arrived yet?"
Even though he might be tired after his two months training, that didn't mean that his defense was decreasing. He immediately sensed danger on his back, turned around and crossed his arms in defense to block a kick that pushed him backward. Seeing their comrade being attacked, both Sachi and Boro stood up and shouted for his name.
"Khun, are you alright?"
"Ugh....speaking of the devil....." Khun looked at the culprit.
The culprit was, of course, Charlotte. Who else in this train would kick him as a greeting after not seeing each other for two months? Altaira, maybe. But considering how lovesick he was, he was probably busy with Celeste. If not, then he must be still training. If he recalled it right, he said that he had a training with Estrella for these two months. Right now, he wasn't available.

Charlotte smiled in her playful way and put her right hand on her waist.
"There I thought I would be able to hit you once" said Charlotte. Behind him, Bam was smiling awkwardly. No matter how much he wanted to stop his younger sister, his younger sister could be stubborn and out of control. "You don't change these two months, Khun."
"Charlotte?!" Boro called her name. "Bam! You are back!"
Charlotte smiled and tilted her head when her name was being called.
Without wasting a moment, Khun raised his right hand and then landed a hard chop on Charlotte's head. Though it certainly wasn't the first time she received a smack from Khun but this time, it was more painful than before.
"Why are you doing this for?!"
"For being foolish" Khun nonchalantly replied.
"Don't you know that if you hit someone's head, he will be even more foolish?? Do you want me to lose my intelligence?"
"Charlotte." With a solemn expression, he tapped his hands on her shoulders. Charlotte thought that he wanted to say something serious since his expression looked quite serious. But what Khun wanted to say wasn't a serious matter. He leaned forward a bit and then replied to her question,
"You can't lose something that you never had."
Her vein popped instantly when she heard that. She was even more irritated when Khun chuckled and laughed at her.
Without hesitation, she hit Khun's head with her head on purpose, causing both of them to feel pain.
"Ouch....even after two months, your stubbornness don't change for a bit....has your head always been this hard?"
"I could have asked the same question....." Charlotte replied while holding her dizzy head. 'Shouldn't have hit him with head...'
"Charlotte, Khun, are you alright?" Bam asked worriedly while Sachi and Boro remained speechless.
"Anyway, what's with your faces?" Khun asked, rubbing his head right on where it hurts. He asked the two of them since the two of them looked like they have been beaten up. "It's understandable if Charlotte looks like she has been beaten up...but what's wrong with you, Bam?"
"You....Is being hit once not enough?"
"That's my line" Khun replied and patted Charlotte's head.
Neither Sachi or Boro was surprised with his small and friendly gesture. What the two of them was surprised was that Bam turned blind eye on it as if Khun didn't lay his fingers on the adorable Charlotte who he loved the most. This made them lost in words.
"Honestly, it looks like you had a bit of a tough time, Khun" said Bam. "You look like you've lost weight."
"Oh, really?"
"Did the Silver Dwarf bully you or something?" Charlotte asked, only to be left unanswered. Not that she minded about that though.
"Well, then-- our numbers have gone down a bit more than I expected, but it looks like everyone who is going to the Floor of Death is here" said Khun with his hands on the pockets.
The light in the Hell Train started to vanish and disappear, could that be because of the Floor of Death was getting near of them, Charlotte wondered about that as she watched how the Hell Train was getting darker and darker.

She wasn't really comfortable with that, but what could she do?
She glanced at her brother who seemed to have felt something different. Right now, what Bam felt was something strange. His heart was beating fast as if he was heading to the place where he must go. He was unsure whether this was a good sign or not.
According to the Manhwa, this will happen for one month. The night will haunt the Hell Train for one month while the regulars were resting and will turn normal soon so she wasn't particularly worried. She was going to rest and sleep for the whole month while the night still covering the train.
"Oh, and anyway, brother, there is something that I actually want to show you" said Charlotte, distracting the four men there and gained their attentions.
Charlotte opened her palm, revealing a golden hourglass. Perhaps it was because that the Hell Train was now at its night phrase that the golden sand inside the hourglass glowed in the middle of the night. The golden sand that glowed there was quite bright like a star....if only it wasn't sealed with the chains around it.
"What's this toy?" Khun asked.
Charlotte was taken back at his question.
'A toy? How could you possibly call the source of my power as a toy? Does it look like a toy in your eyes? I get the power to beat you thanks to this hourglass!'
"A toy you asked? This golden hourglass is the source of my power and these chains are the chains that restrained my power!" Charlotte explained.
"This is....your power....?" Boro asked.
Being allured by the light, Bam reached out his hand to touch the hourglass even though Charlotte warned him that the chains might sting and give him a bit pain. But to their surprises, Bam didn't feel anything at all. He didn't feel even a slight taste of pain.
The same thing goes to Boro, Sachi and Khun who were supposed to be weaker than her.
"......" Charlotte was lost in words for a second.
"That's strange.....based on my experiences, these chains should have stung those who aren't strong enough when they touched it....why doesn't it work for you guys?"
Thought that these chains might have opened themselves or that she had leveled herself up, Charlotte also wanted to try to touch the chains....only to be electrocuted by those chains. She pulled her hand back and waved her hand in pain, blowing her hand so that the pain would go away quickly.
Charlotte was without a doubt surprised about what had just happened. It wasn't really surprising that Bam could touch the chains without being electrocuted by it since he was a monster from the beginning, but what about Sachi, Boro and Khun who were weaker than her?
"This doesn't make sense" she said in a surprised tone.
Khun didn't know why, but hearing that he should have been electrocuted by these chains since he was weaker than her made him irritated when it was the truth.
He smiled and responded, "Maybe it's because the chains despised you."
A vein popped.
"Or maybe it's because these chains judge people not by their strengths, but their personalities" he added. "It won't let an ignorant and childish person dirty them."
Two veins popped when she heard that.
"Are you looking for troubles right now?!"
He smugly smirked, "I was just stating the truth."
"What truth? You're looking for a fight, don't you?!"
"So what if I am?"
"Alright, both of you" said Bam, standing in the middle of them and tried to separate them. "I don't think it's the right time to fight."
"Why not? I could take him down in anytime! It will only take one minute!" said Charlotte, pointing her index finger at Khun who snorted, "Just your strength means nothing."
If it was a fight, then Charlotte would have the advantage since her strength was obviously stronger than Khun. But then again, the young lad was the master of all dirty tricks and cheating. If he used everything he had well, he might win against Charlotte, even though that'll be very hard.
"Well, the three of you have just finished your training and taken the test" Sachi explained. "If the two of you fight right now, you'll collapse in no time."
"Sachi is right. You won't want to miss the Floor of Death right?" Bam asked at the two of them.
Remembering about the Floor of Death, Charlotte pondered about it and chose to not fight.
"Forget it! I'll just look for Noah or Altaira" said Charlotte. She glanced at Bam and asked, "You don't mind right, brother?"
What an obvious thing to ask. Bam really wanted to directly say that he does mind seeing his sister looking for someone else, especially either Altaira or Noah. He didn't have any good feelings about the white haired male.
"Hm.....what about we walk around the train?" Bam suggested an idea.
"Huh?"
"Altaira and Noah are probably tired after these two months. They have just finished their training right?" He asked Sachi and Boro who agreed with his words, aware that Bam was trying to put Charlotte away from them.
Charlotte pondered about it. Maybe she shouldn't bother the two of them for now. They have just finished their trainings or test, they needed more rest. If they weren't resting, then the two of them were probably fighting over Celeste. Though she would be happy to see people fighting, but after fighting and training to use the Shinsu Black- Hole Sphere for two months, she needed a break from that.
Besides, this was her chance to spend her time with her brother. How could she not be happy and take that chance?
"Okay!" Charlotte agreed with his words and Bam smiled in relieve.

I just need the money to feed my little brother and sister. Their world is all I want to protect. The glory is for washing clean the stains that my father left on the family name. We became such a joke in the country that our mother abandoned us. I don’t know if he really did betray the country, but I don’t care. For my little siblings to suffer the same mockery and humiliation that I did is unacceptable! To protect the smiles of my only family, I would do anything. Yet, life knows to shit on you when things are just getting good. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hello, author-san here! This is my first story, set up in a fantasy world. It's based on the medieval and steam era where magic is rare and alchemy is used widely used as a weapon by people. There would be lots of action, adventure, betrayal, tragedy, romance, etc. ahead. Warnings-The mc is a bit mean and foul-mouthed, introvert. There would be strong language and lots of monologue narration by the MC. The stories are fast-paced and progressing faster. The chapters update would be unstable, depending on my daily life. You would get fast updates... or slow. Also, English isn't my first language. So don't expect perfect grammar :( P.S. - I would like some constructive critique and feedback! It fills my motivation gauge and increases that rate of chapter/week. (/>3

Destinatus
Volume 1: Follows the story of an amnesiac named Gratus whose narrative reflects the fragmentation in his mind. His journey to restore his memories pits him against monsters and questionable allies that seem to want him dead. Volume 2: Prequel to volume 1 that follows Cogito's narrative, a rising star that is tied to a family legacy he cannot escape. Connects the fragments in volume 1 and expands on the world of Dominia. **Author’s Note: Cover Art and Synopsis is subject to change. I just wanted to post my story here to get feedback and improve it, so it’s okay to be brutally honest! What I am posting is a rough draft so I don't mind rewritting whole chapters and segments of stories as long as it doesn't make the story worse haha. **Author’s Note: LitRPG elements begins in Volume 2, same with potentially traumatising content.

Miracle Angeliva
Spirits, or what people usually referred to as ghosts, are something that has always been with us since ancient times. Some people are gifted to see them. However, most of us can’t see them without training. And without seeing them, we won’t believe. People only believe what they see, after all. However, I assure you, spirits are real. Spirits are always there. Just because you can’t see them doesn’t mean they are not real. Just like people of ancient ages who can’t see bacteria or those who can’t see stars further than eyes can see, there are limits to our technology. Similarly, even though the current technology can’t prove the existence of supernatural beings, that doesn’t mean they don’t exist. In the future, if we can develop technology so everyone can see them just like how a microscope helps us seeing micro beings, I believe everyone will believe it too. That being said, I still can’t prove their existence yet. -Raleigh Von Vlad Update daily (if possible, if not, guaranteed chapters are on Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday) Thanks to gej302 for the fantastic cover!

This project has no purpose
Summary: This is the story about the life of a "human" amidst a world that only appears to be earth at first glance. Long ago the face of this world resembled the typical tales of yore; of knights and fairies, swords and magic, however such an era has come and gone. Even the world of fantasy has progressed steadily into the modern epoch filled with the wonders of science and technology! In the ancient times a certain crisis had occured that lead to the quick decline of various magical species. Due to their low population and general incompatibility with the other races they could not crossbreed to save their numbers. Left with no other choice the major races of the world gathered together in an attempt to change the fate of this dying world. Their only hope was a special 'world-tier' magic known as 'the dusk of harmony'. The result of this magic would dissolve every race into their purest essences known as 'aspect' and instill them within the human population. The humans were the best choice as their numbers were numerous and form was similar to most races. As such, the various races of this world managed to save themselves in essence and soul only, though perhaps there was no other choice. With the various humans now carrying the weight and aspects of those who came before, life has continued onto the modern age. Yet, even amongst these hybrids 'Pures' emerge from time to time, beings who have inherited not only aspects of the ancient races, but their forms too. These Pures are often times exceptionally talented and seen as near deities. This is the story of a perculiar boy who is born with the soul of a stranger from the world known as 'Earth'. With the memories and soul of a human, he too is a rare Pure; a pure human. --- This project literally has no purpose and is being written because I felt like it. There isn't any semblance of a solid direction nor have I thought about any characters aside from the main character and a few auxiliary cast. If you would like to contribute to building this world with me then please contact me through a DM or by leaving a comment, I will be sure to credit you.
