Alphine was indeed Kaiser's most loyal servant. There was no doubt in that after they saw her actions today or tonight.
In order to keep the secret of getting to the gallery, she would rather die than telling them. She would rather kill and stab herself with her knife rather than helping the slayer candidates and her companions on reaching the gallery where Kaiser was resting. Bam immediately stopped her by using the [Reverse Flow Control], stole her name and commanded her to not kill herself before asking Alphine giving them the way to go to the gallery.
Alphine couldn't tell whether this Bam was nice or dangerous when he said that he never liked to see someone dying in front of him. She understood if Bam stopped her from killing herself because the dead ones won't be able to speak, but she can't understand why he disliked seeing someone dying before him when he was a slayer candidate.
On their way to the gallery, according to Alphine, they have to take the escalator. She had given them the route in Khun's lighthouse and they just need to follow it. But when they reached there, they were surprised when they found two people were waiting for them to come.
Charlotte didn't really expect that Shibisu and Estrella will arrive there faster than them. She knew that she had messed up the timing when she had saved Alphine's time from telling them Kaiser's past and moved few minutes faster than the original manhwa. She simply followed them to see whether Shibisu had arrived or not.
Charlotte knew what scheme Alphine was planning and if Shibisu wasn't there, she was planning to tell the three of them about it. But now that Shibisu and Estrella were there, she wondered why she wasn't happy that the story line was still the same. She felt like there was something off here.
"Hey, guys!" Shibisu called with a friendly smile as if they were not in the middle of a mission right now. He was holding something on his hand. "Good work making it this far!"
"ISU?!"
"How did you get here, Isu!?" "How did you know the way?!" Both Bam and Khun asked simultaneously.
"Isn't it obvious? I told you not to look down on our team" Shibisu answered. "I'm the best scout around. Well, I was going to tell you guys how to get here if Bam cooperated with us, but it's too bad that you had to go through so much trouble just to get here.
Ah, you can't say that you've been through so much trouble considering that you have a clairvoyant on your side."
Charlotte was confused with the last part.
'Is he referring to me? But I haven't told him about that ability yet so how--'
Charlotte looked at Estrella who was standing, no, hiding behind Shibisu. She laughed nervously while sweating coldly in the same time. Maybe it was because she knew that if she didn't find a good place to hide, she will be grilled later on.

"Hehe..... sorry, Charlie" Estrella apologized. "He managed to coax everything from me."
A red vein popped on Charlotte's head, 'You traitor!'
"W....wait! What's in your hands!?"
The thing that Shibisu was holding looked similar with Wangnan's shinsu ball.
"Ah, this?" He showed it to them and lightly answered,
But Bam and Khun weren't joking around. They had no time for Shibisu's joke.
"Stop joking!"
"Obviously because I want to become a pokemon master!" Shibisu lightly replied.
"Shut up! Just cut it out with the pokemon go already!"
Charlotte politely raised her hand, earning their attentions.
"I don't know much about pokemon....but I was wondering, since you want to be a pokemon master, mind showing it to me what you are going to do with that pokeball?" She asked.
"Why are you joking with him as well--!"
Khun stopped right on his words after he noticed that Charlotte was smiling to him. It was as if she was telling him to let her handle it from now.
Shibisu's smile stiffened and faded for a bit. Seeing her smile, he knew that Charlotte had long seen his intention of coming there.
"Damn...I was just planning to joke with you for a bit. Having a clairvoyant to spoil everything isn't that fun, don't you think?" He asked. "Well, you guys know that it would make things difficult for us if you pass now."
"Wait, so what are you doing?"
"Right now, Endorsi and Hatz don't know that I'm here. They really are good people. Regardless of what they say, they're fighting hard for greater good even when their own lives are in danger" said Shibisu. "But you guys are trying to steal Kaiser's name even while knowing that Endorsi is in danger. I get it, of course. But I'm a bit disappointed.
As the leader of our team, I have to consider the safety of my own team before you guys. Which means that I can't let you all reach Kaiser."
Charlotte simply smiled and tilted her head, looking at Shibisu without the slightest trace of worry and panicking. Right what Shibisu expected, she knew his intention clearly. But since she did not stop him from saying what he wanted to say, he continued to speak.
"Ah~ I'm not sure what to do either. I can't believe we are fighting over something like this" said Shibisu while playing with the shinsu bomb.
Both Bam and Khun were truly afraid that Shibisu would destroy their only way to get to the gallery and they panicked.
"What choice should I make in a situation like this? Any ideas?" He asked them.
"Bam, stop the shinsu bomb!" Khun suggested an idea.
"What?! But, shinsu bombs couldn't be stopped by [Reverse Flow Control]!" Bam explained.
"What?!"
"Honestly, I believe in you guys. Knowing you, I'm sure you'll find a way...."
"DAMN IT!! I'M GOING TO KILL YOU SHIBISU!!"
When Shibisu threw the shinsu bomb to the escalator, the escalator immediately exploded.

"NO!!"
The escalator, their only way to get to Kaiser, has been destroyed and burned. There was no way they could use the escalator anymore thanks to their good friend Shibisu.
"....crap. Damn you Isu!" Khun clenched his fists.
"Alright, now....tell me what you are going to do Khun" said Shibisu with a grin.
"What the hell are you doing!?"
Charlotte's right hand unconsciously moved to her throat as she gulped.
When she watched the escalator was being burned, she remembered how she died in her first life.
With the fire slowly devoured her, burning her skin inch by an inch, she could never forget the pain. Her body unconsciously trembled no matter how much she tried to calm herself.
'Calm down, calm down....it's not like that will happen again. Even if it happens again....I could save myself....'
She took a deep breath before she let it out, calming herself. But even though her mind has gotten the control back, her body couldn't stop trembling. The nightmare that haunted her before came across her mind and she was just wondering why they should come now.
"....are you alright, Charlotte?" Bam asked.
Charlotte nodded her head and hummed. She can't let her brother see her moment of weakness right now.
"I'm fine" said Charlotte. She looked at Shibisu and asked, still with the smile, "Isu, do you want to know....what will happen to Endorsi after this?"
"What?"
Charlotte's lips curled into a grin as she snapped her fan.
"You said that I am a clairvoyant right? For a clairvoyant like me, this isn't a big deal" said Charlotte. "But I was just simply wondering, whether you are curious what things will happen to the princess or not."
≪ ◦ ❖ ◦ ≫
Kaiser was resting in the gallery.
According to the message that she received from Alphine, Alphine who lost her name to Jue Viole Grace was heading to the escalator. The escalator was, however, filled with some traps that were more than enough to kill D- rank regulars like Jue Viole Grace and their friends.
She didn't understand why Alphine had to through this much trouble. She believed that she was able to defeat both the slayer candidates and then everything will go based on their plan. After all, she was the ruler of this creepy Station Name Hunt for more than a thousand years and she used to be one of the Zahard Princesses candidates and also born from one of the Ten Families. Her power shouldn't be underestimated. In the terms of experiences, she believed that she was better than the slayer candidates for she had became D- rank regular for some time and fought with some people.
But since the slayer candidates had died right now, then she won't have to fight with them. If they had died, there was nothing she could do.
Kaiser was wondering, if she managed to push Endorsi from her position as a princess, will the family leader give her a second chance? Will the family leader spare her family and free them? After all, she had done them a great favor if she eliminated one of the rivals of the twin Zahard Princesses from Lo Po Bia Family.
Lo Po Bia Lilial Zahard was right now fighting against Endorsi Zahard who lost her real name while Lo Po Bia Shilial Zahard was fighting against Hatz in swordsmanship. The two of them had an idea to steal Endorsi's companions' names, turn them into their slaves and made them spill all the secrets between Endorsi and the two slayer candidates.
Her thoughts were distracted when there was a loud sound of crash behind her.
When there was an explosion and a loud crash behind her, she turned around to see what happened. To her surprise, Jue Viole Grace did not die, but he made it to the gallery safe and sound without a scratch with the help of one of the floating islands.
He used the floating island to come there along with his companions. The fight between the two of them was inevitable.
"...Jue Viole Grace....I heard you have gotten on the elevator. " Kaiser asked. By her tone, Charlotte could tell that Kaiser did not expect this and Kaiser didn't seem to wish them to stay alive.
'Well, I will also wish for my enemies to die.'
Unlike Bam who was wearing the wig, Charlotte didn't have to wear the white smiling mask. It was because that Nox was supposed to be a man and this lass was dressing as a girl. Moreover, Charlotte was confident that they only need one Jue Viole Grace to defeat Kaiser. Nox could go away for awhile and get himself some break.
"We got lucky" said Khun, answering Kaiser's question with a smile. "We might have died if it weren't for Isu. It looks like....he had prepared everything that he could to defeat you. He had a good reason to be so cocky.
So Kaiser. How does it feel that the title you've been guarding for a thousand years is going about to be taken from you? If I were in your situation, at this point, I would probably just accept that it's my fate to be defeated here."
'You knew brother's power already. But Kaiser isn't aware of brother's power.'
"....fate...what a joke" Kaiser responded. "It looks like Alphine told you some useless nonsense. If you developed even the slightest bit of sympathy for me, I suggest you to get rid of it. Not once have I ever thought that my actions in this place are worthy of sympathy."
She stood up from her seat proudly with confidence and looked at the slayer candidates and their friends,
"I am the Peak of the Evil for everything that exists here. So you'll be in trouble if you don't fight me with full force."

Delicate as Glass
[participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge] Nuri, an [Assistant Glassworker], only has a single Skill. It’s really not fair. He’s worked in the hot shop his entire life, following in his father’s footsteps after his parents passed away, but he’s stuck. Despite possessing above-average talent as an artisan, he still hasn’t shed his [Assistant] status, gained a second Skill, or even leveled enough to reach the first Threshold. Besides, he’s bored; most days he daydreams of adventure and becoming a hero, or pines for the renown that’s sure to be his if he evolves his Class into a [Master Glass Smith], but nothing ever changes—until suddenly, fate strikes, and nothing is ever the same again. These days, Nuri sees more magic, prestige, and adventure than he can handle as he gets swept up in realm-shaking conspiracies and desperate fights for his life. Maybe a boring life wasn’t so bad after all. Disclaimers: 1) Names were mostly chosen through random generators and aren’t necessarily final. If they seem derivative or boring, blame RNG. 2) Skills, Classes, levels, and the entire system is currently a work in progress; please be kind if it’s not very well fleshed out yet. 3) This is the first full-length novel I've set out to write without a single plot point ready. I had nothing in mind other than a recent visit to a hot shop. Molten glass is pretty awesome. 4) Related, I know much less about glass than I’d like. I did some research, but mistakes are bound to happen. If you have a correction, thanks! Please be polite about it. 5) The prose is my experimental attempt at first-person, present tense. I realize it may not be everyone’s preference, but I hope you’ll give it a try anyway!
