- Defeating Yukan -

Her hair has already been combed by Khun so that it won't be messy anymore.

"Whoa, I don't expect you to be good in this kind of thing!" Charlotte said and stood up from the chair.

"It's not that I'm good, but you are just too bad at it" Khun responded.

It was rare for Charlotte to wear some dresses or clothes for party. It was even rare for her to get a chance to wear something else other than black outfits so she wanted to look better than usual.

She wore a dark blue colored dress that reached her knees and silver colored heels. She let her hair loosened and her long hair reached her waist.

"We're not going to go on a party. Do you have to make it complicated?"

"I could say the same thing to you" Charlotte responded. "If that's so, you won't have to change your hairstyle or wasting some time to wear that suit right? And besides, what's wrong with a young lady wanting to get beautiful for a night?"

"....do whatever that pleases you."

Charlotte simply smiled when she heard that.

"I just know that you will let me do whatever I want" she said. "Then if we encounter one of the Ten Bosses later, will you let me beat him up?"

"....you want to lash out your anger at one of them?"

"What if I am?" She tilted her head as she asked this question.

"Then make sure you beat him harder than the usual" he casually answered. "I'll help you later."

She smiled even wider.

"Really? You will allow me to beat someone?"

"We tried to prepare as quick as possible....but there are already a lot of guys starting to move around" Khun said. "Well, they just love watching fighting."

Bam looked at Charlotte.

"Brother, I know that I enjoy watching people fighting....but please don't look at me like that" said Charlotte, sweated dropped "You really look like as if you are blaming me....."

Bam patted her head gently, "It's not like that. It's just that...you usually dress so casually that it's rare to see you dress like this for once."

Though her cheeks blushed a little, Charlotte smiled and accepted that praise happily. This made Khun wonder whether she dressed this neatly and beautifully just to earn a praise for Bam or not. If so, then she really loved her brother a lot that she was willing to do anything to get just a praise.

From the ground below, they noticed that there was a floating island that Red Gramon said was made invisible and filled with traps. The floating island was made by the Workshop and this wasn't the first time they crossed paths with the Workshop.

Shibisu's team was willing to work together with them to save the hostages, but it wasn't Endorsi's decision. If they failed to achieve their goal until tomorrow at five, then they will seriously be fighting both Charlotte and Bam and then used that chance to fight against Kaiser.

There were three entrances; three teams to seek the hostages. At the first entrance, Hwaryun was leading the regulars. At the third entrance that consisted a maze, Raisin was leading the others. Xia Xia followed since there was no other Light Bearer. At the second entrance, there was Endorsi, Hatz and Shibisu along with Estrella who followed them.

They were also heading at the second entrance but they were heading to find Kaiser and to have a match with her.

Charlotte looked around in awe and said, "There are so many people....."

"It's the middle of the night but it looks like a lot of people have already gathered" said Khun. "That damn Kaiser....with this many named around, does she think it will be hard for us to wonder around?"

"I'm starting to think that it would have been better if we wreck this place....."

"Most of the named are the servants of Kaiser and the Ten Bosses" said Red Gramon who warned her. "So if a fight breaks here, we could end up fighting against all the named."

"I see."

Charlotte nodded her head and continued to look around until Bam held her hand. She was surprised and then looked at Bam with a confused look.

"What's wrong, brother?" She asked.

"You are bad with directions" he answered. "I don't want you to get lost later on, so I'll be holding your hand."

If this was someone else, then Charlotte might deny it. But since this was her brother, she nodded her head with a sincere smile.

"Don't worry! Even if I get lost, I will be fine!" she positively said.

Khun, "....."

According to the Red Gramon, the only one who knew about the way to get to the Gallery was the Ten Bosses only. Aside from them, there was no one else who knew about it.

"So you have to be one of the Ten Bosses to get such an information, huh?" Khun concluded.

And speaking of the devils, the four of them were lucky to encounter one. In the middle of their way, they found a huge regular stepping on another regular, yelling that he wanted to get the Jue Viole Grace and Nox so that he could defeat the two of them.

"Is that....?"

"DAMN IT!! THIS IS INFURIATING!! GET ME THAT JUE VIOLE GRACE KID OR NOX OR WHATEVER THEY ARE! I'M GOING TO CAPTURE THEM AND PROVE THAT I'M BETTER THAN INIETA!!"

"One of the Ten Bosses?"

"Yeah......Yukan the human toxic" Red Gramon answered. "With his personality, he's played acting chief among the bosses. After Inieta got here, he is laying low. Still, there is no doubt that he is one of the Ten Bosses. It would be dangerous to face him here."

"DAMN IT!!"

"We should just walk pass him quietly" Red Gramon advised them.

Charlotte snorted and crossed her arms, "Why should we walk pass him quietly? We should fight with him"

"Are you mad!?"

"No, I'm sane" she answered. "In fact, I would be mad if I choose to walk pass him like a coward. You said that we need one of the Ten Bosses to know the way to get to Kaiser right? One of them is right here in front of us. How could I possibly let my key walk away?"

"But you have to be someone around Jue Viole Grace or Nox to defeat him!"

Ignoring Red Gramon, Charlotte smiled at her brother rather sweetly.

"YOU'RE ALL USELESS!! YOU'RE THE REASON WHY KAISER LOOKS DOWN ON ME!!"

"Brother, do you want to beat him up or I'll deal with him for you?" Charlotte asked.

"I think it's best if I do this one" Bam answered. "Stay here with Khun."

"Okay" Charlotte obediently responded.

'If the person who tells her to stay here isn't Bam, she wouldn't have listened' Khun thought.

And so, Bam went to look for the Yukan while ignoring Red Gramon. He casually walked to Yukan and when he was close enough, he stopped and asked the human toxic.

"Excuse me" he said. He had gained Yukan's attention. "Can you tell me the way to the corridor? This is the first time we got here so we don't know the way."

"Who are you?" Yukan asked back.

"I'm the Twenty Fifth Bam" he introduced himself.

"Twenty....what?"

"But...if you don't intend on removing your foot yourself, "

".....what?"

said Bam.

While Red Gramon looked confused and surprised, Charlotte opened her fan to cover her mouth that was opened because she was surprised. While Red Gramon thought that this Twenty Fifth Bam was insane, Charlotte thought that her brother was admirable.

When Bam asked Yukan to remove his foot politely, Charlotte knew that it was a warning already.

"Easy there, don't worry" Khun assured Red Gramon. "I have a plan."

Yukan laughed loudly, completely had no idea that Bam was actually more than ready to hit him.

"You must be completely insane!"he said.

"I'm not insane" Bam denied rather politely. "In fact, you are the one who is insane for wanting to meet Jue Viole Grace and Nox.

Some people kidnapped their precious companions. Those people conspired with greater power to treat regulars like slaves. They brag as if they are a king in this small kingdom. They aren't aware of the fact that they are actually small toads in a pool. Seen from outside, you guys are really pathetic.

."

After listening to his words and knowing his identity, anyone could tell that the Jue Viole Grace or Bam was currently holding back his anger.

Yukan knew that he was actually being insulted. After listening to his words, Yukan cursed him and shouted at him. But before he could finish his words, Bam had gathered shinsu and then shot it at Yukan. Yukan was blown backward after he received such a hit.

Red Gramor was taken back by his power. No wonder they were looking for Kaiser, these guys were confident of their abilities.

"I'm not God, so I make mistakes. And my actions can't always be justified so I may not be able to say that this is the right thing to do, but I'm certain of one thing. I have the right to be angry at the ones who play with the lives of my companions."

'.....This Yukan won't end well. If brother is determined to break all his bones, not even Kaiser could save him' Charlotte thought.

But she was actually quite happy. She was happy that her brother could be a little more selfish and stop restraining himself from beating up those who pissed him off. That would have made him look more like a human.

Yukan was humiliated and angry. He was angry that he was being stopped by a regular who he found insignificant and then shot all his toxic waste out which was blocked easily by Khun with his light houses.

Yukan was taken back of course. He didn't be one of the Ten Bosses for nothing. His toxic waste wasn't that easy to be blocked but this Light Bearer that appeared out of nowhere blocked his attack.

'He had fight with a regular whose power is almost similar with C- rank regulars and fight against one of the FUG Slayers. Moreover, he is someone from the Ten Great Families and a fast learner. Obviously your toxic waste means nothing for him' Charlotte thought as she stood back and watched everything.

Bam shot bangs to cut all the pipes that Yukan had to shot toxic waste, used the [Reverse Flow Control] and stopped Yukan before stealing his name. When his name was being stolen, Yukan now realized that the one who he pissed off was the Jue Viole Grace.

She glanced at the regulars who witnessed the fight.

Jue Viole Grace easily defeated one of the strongest Ten Bosses and the one of the strongest Ten Bosses couldn't even touch a strand of his hair. It was amazing indeed. But if that Yukan really hurts Bam even a strand of his hair, today he wouldn't end up just with losing his name, Charlotte could guarantee that.

They wanted to know about the path to the gallery and asked Yukan about it. But Yukan refused to tell as he can't tell them about the path to the gallery.

"What? You can't even tell your master that?" Khun asked him. He turned to look the regulars there. "Ahh-- you're completely useless! Listen up!"

He purposely increased the volume of his voice so that most of the regulars could hear him making an announcement.

"Would anyone like to take this guy as a servant? How about the man who got stepped on before? I'll give you a poisonous for free!!"

If Khun really gives Yukan for someone else, then considering his temper, Charlotte assumed he won't end well being someone else's servant. His temper was, just like everyone else witnessed, he was a bully and violent. He had no respect to his servants and if he ends up being the servant of the man who he stepped on before, that man would do anything to torment him, making him suffer humiliation ten folds as what he experienced from Yukan.

Yukan wasn't that foolish. He knew that he would die if that happens. Therefore, he quickly apologized and promised to tell them to location of the gallery.

"Actually, the only person who knows how to get to the gallery from here....is that . Kaiser's most loyal servant, Alphine, the Shadow Girl."
