《Tower of God Fan Fiction: Transmigration[Hope]》2 • 37 • 48

Charlotte watched the two siblings resting. They slept rather peacefully. Charlotte sighed.
After years, they finally met each other again. They must be very happy.
But then again, they can't leave now. These brother and sister were tired that they needed some rest and it was impossible to carry the two of them together in the same time.
she thought.
At first, she also wanted to go to the rice pot. If she could go to the rice pot, surely she will get stronger. But Noah was trapped in the same floor with the guardian so she had no choice but to go and save him first with Celeste.
Celeste and Noah were also the descendants of an irregular. There was a chance for them to train with the guardian or not.
She just hoped that the siblings would wake up soon as they should leave as soon as possible.
•••
Noah was the first to wake up.
His sister was resting next to him. He tried to pat her head to make sure that he really had escaped from the room. Words couldn't describe how happy he was to be able to see Celeste not as a ghost but as his real self.
"You are awake" Charlotte said. She had just finished walking around.
"Yeah" Noah responded. He looked at his palms. He still can't believe that he had escaped from the damned room with Charlotte's and Celeste's help. "I owe you one for this."
"This is the part of our deal" Charlotte said. "But I would appreciate it if you don't try to kill my brothers."
"So you know I am planning on killing him first."
"You cursed him near my ear whenever he is around Celeste" Charlotte said and walked to Noah. "Seeing how protective you are to Celeste and how cruel people in this tower, it wasn't hard to guess."
"Well, you do learn one or two things for all these years" Noah said with a grin.
"Don't kill my brothers" Charlotte seriously said.
"I know, I won't kill him" Noah said. "Besides, he has been watching Celeste for me all these years. Celeste also cared for him a lot."
Charlotte felt relieved.
"But I will at least punch him on the face."
"Do you want to start a fight?"
"He started it first!"
"I will tell Celeste that you are planning something bad later!" Charlotte threatened.
"You are threatening me now?" He asked.

Charlotte didn't want to answer that question. Although she knew that Noah was stronger and (maybe) smarter than her, she didn't want to answer something that was obvious. Her answer was definitely yes.
She was still thinking about something else.
"I will take silence as yes."
"I want to ask something else" Charlotte said.
"Are you changing the topic?"
Charlotte rolled her eyes and answered, "No! I just want to know about one simple thing."
She just hoped that Noah knew that she was being serious.
"...What do you want to know?" He asked.
"The Crimson Red Flower Seal" Charlotte said with serious yet bitter expression. "It's the method that only your family could use right?"
She wished Noah to disagree with her words. She wished it so bad. She wanted to hear him answering that "anyone could master this technique" or sort of it.
"Yes."
She sighed.
"No one else could learn this method other than us" Noah said.
"So there is no Zahard Princess from the beginning" Charlotte said. "I guess the one who sealed you inside wasn't a Zahard Princess, but your father right?"
This method could only be mastered by their family and outsiders had no way to use the Crimson Red Flower Seal. Their blood was also the key to open it. Noah and Celeste didn't seem to have any other relative but their parents.
But if it was indeed their father who separated them, then wouldn't it be tragic and hard for Celeste?
"I want to see my family again."
Her hope will be shattered into pieces if she knew about this. Her goal for climbing the tower was to meet her family members again, surely she didn't wish for them to fight each other.
Noah should have known it better. He was her older brother, he was the one who cared the most for Celeste. He was over protective of her because he cared. He didn't want her to feel hurt even the slightest.
Noah pressed his lips together.
".....you are the smart one, aren't you?"
"Then will you have your revenge to you father for sealing you inside?" Charlotte asked.
"If he only seals me inside there, I won't be haunted by the desires to take his life" Noah said and put Celeste down on the floor gently. "He killed my mother and abandoned us when we were young. These two reasons were more than enough for me to kill him."

"......" Charlotte knew it.
"If Celeste knew that-"
"She will be greatly disappointed on us" Noah cut her words. "In our family, Celeste is perhaps the only one who is sane and has some humanity. But we aren't. We know it damn well that if you don't want to be killed, you have to kill."
".......Is there no other way for this?" She asked again.
Celeste has always been nice. She was a loyal and kind reason. If others were searching for stars and jewels, her adorable wish made her dreamt about being with her family members. Even if one offered her a chance to meet her family members but losing half of her lifespan as the price, she would definitely take it. She cherished relationships a lot.
But that one wish was so hard to accomplish and it was predestined to fail from the beginning.
Charlotte knew that unlike her former world where there were lots of sane people with humanity, it would be hard to wish and ask for humanity in this tower. She can't help but to feel sad for Celeste.
"Charlotte" Noah called again. Coldly, he said, "This is our family business. You don't have to interfere with it."
Charlotte bit the bottom of her lips.
'But the one who will suffer the most is my teammate.'
•••
At the end, Noah decided to carry Celeste with both of his hands and went back to the team.
"You are still injured right?" Charlotte asked. She was afraid that he would collapse in the middle of their way and she should sat down and wait for them to wake up. "What if you faint?"
"Nah, I won't" Noah answered. "Celeste healed most of my wounds-"
They stopped walking when they bumped into Altaira who was walking randomly.
".........."
His blue eyes were locked at Celeste who was carried by him and then looked again at Charlotte who smiled awkwardly.
Charlotte knew what will happen soon so she stepped in the middle and said, "Before you fight-!" She opened her arms so that none of them would try to fight. "-brother, this is Celeste's brother."
But his reaction was kind of unexpected. If this was Altaira, her lovesick brother, then he would immediately pulled out his spear and threw it and declare a fight.
"Ah....no wonder they look alike" he said. "Is this the person who you are going to save?"
Charlotte nodded her head in disbelief.
"I'm Altaira" Altaira introduced himself calmly. "What is your name?"
"Noah, Celeste's brother" Noah also replied it calmly.
He had made the deal to not fight Altaira anyway.
"That's all?" Charlotte raised one of her eyebrows.
"What do you mean?"
"I thought you are going to fight each other" Charlotte said as she looked at Altaira and Noah. The two of them were cool.
"Ah....." Altaira scratched the back of his head and said, "Well, if you don't step in the middle of us and introduce him, maybe I would have thrown my spear."
"I have already promised you that unless he started to fight me first, I won't fight him" Noah said.
"Oh....." She was amazed at how cool they could be.
"The others are still waiting for Bam to get out from that rice pot" Altaira said again with a friendly smile. He patted Charlotte's head gently and happily. "Should we go now?"
Charlotte hummed and nodded her head. Altaira let Charlotte walked first as he and Noah walked behind her.
And when she wasn't looking, their expressions turned cold as if they were meeting an old enemy. His blue eyes and dark purple eyes glanced to each other and met as they thought the same thing:
•••
After all the hard work, they finally got the bottle back again. At the same time, the four of them had returned.
They were confused when they saw the man with white hair and dark purple eyes while carrying Celeste who was asleep. They were also surprised when they knew that Altaira wasn't bothered with it.
Was this still the lovesick blue bastard that they know?
Raisin and Hwaryun turned their heads away. They were guides after all.
"Charlotte....this is...." Estelle asked.
With a friendly eye closed smile, she answered, "Ah, everyone, this is Noah. He is Celeste's older brother."
"......." They all looked at Noah.
"What?" Noah asked. "Is there something on me?"
"Celeste has an older brother?!"
Suddenly Khun has an ominous feeling.
Perhaps it was because he had seen two brothers who were kind of over protective and kept arguing and glaring at each other.
If Noah was also an over protective older brother.....
Then what drama will happen on their team?
Just thinking about that made his head hurt.

Thorns of Jade [A Progression Fantasy LitRPG Adventure]
[participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge] Solo Leveling meets Chainsaw Man in this fun new LitRPG Series To become the king of Kissen, Noah Hearts trains to become the strongest swordsman in the world. The only problem — he can’t use Aura at all! Everything changes when he’s left for dead in a forest on the Kissen Fields… In a world where horrific creatures known as “demons” terrorize mankind, those who wield the mysterious force known as “aura” are the only ones who can fight them. These fighters call themselves the “Wolves of Haven”, and strive to create a world where demons no longer roam their lands! Though Noah Hearts is an exceptional swordfighter for a young man, his total inability to use aura means he could never hope to defeat the demons! Despite this major setback, he still hopes to become the king of Kissen and create a better world for those in his country! As he walks home from his daily training, his world is shifted upside down when he sees a few familiar faces in his home… This is the first draft of what I want to be a 9 volume series. I'll be editing, rewriting, and releasing the volumes on Amazon once they're finished. I'll admit, I'm finishing chapters in sprints because I want to participate in the writathon (Apr. 2022) so I apologize if there are some issues with the prose. Point them out to me and I'll fix them! Anyway, I have no backlog, but I plan on uploading chapters as I finish them. I don't want to spend weeks re-editing and never publishing like I used to, so I'm just gonna post when it's done. Like I said, this story is my take on a mix between solo leveling and chainsaw man. Specifically, the MC is the only one that can consciously level up (sort of), and the plot is fast paced and emotional just like chainsaw man. There are plenty of other inspirations, like HxH, Jojo, JJK, Cradle, and even FF6, but the first two are the biggest. Basically, if you don't like Shounen stuff, this probably isn't the story for you. Regardless, I hope you all like the story!

Psyche Reflection
In the universe, Year 20XX, there exists people who are able to enter the cognitive realms of others and alter their perceptions and emotions, for better or worse. These people are known as "Divers" for their ability to dive into the psyche of others in a process called the "Psyche Dive". The cognitive realm is unique to each individual, hence it's also named the "Reflected World". There, one's innermost emotions and beliefs are materialised when the balance between the id (source of psychodynamic energy, represented by our desires and individuality.) and the superego (represented by our conscience and need to conform to society) is disrupted, with the id overpowering the superego more often than not.As a result, the excess psychodynamic energy on either side results in the formation of Spectres, ghost-like beings that haunt the ego (an individual's personality) and push a person to ruin by clouding his perceptions of reality, influencing his decision making in the process. If left unchecked, Spectres would continue to grow in number and power, eventually consuming the ego completely to form Demons within the person's psyche. At this point, it is extremely difficult to restore a person's id to its original state, as Demons are often extremely powerful and well-protected by their army of Spectres. People who are possessed by Demons are often twisted individuals who commit the most heinous of crimes, as they have lost all of their conscience and morals, fuelled only by their desires. The Divers are the last hope for humanity against the Spectres and Demons. Armed with the power to use their cognition to fashion into effective weapons against these abominations, the Divers seek to cleanse the minds of victims from such insidious influences. 21 year old Lee Jin Kai became a Diver abruptly on his first day as a University student, after a chance meeting with a beautiful foreign exchange student by the name of Aiko Verde. Despite having different motivations, the pair must now stick together, as they traverse the psyches of various people while gathering comrades, resolving real-world issues in the process... Inspired by Persona 5.
