- Tournament -

Once Charlotte entered the residence while holding Celeste's hand childishly, she wasn't aware that the blue haired male who was walking behind them with both of his hands on his pockets was glaring to her in a bad mood, especially to their hands that were holding each other.

Both Bam and Noah were really satisfied with his expression.

Inside the residence, Charlotte and the others heard from the telephone that there would be a special event that will allow the regulars who didn't have any tickets or weren't taken as the subordinates of the ticket holders.

Last of Seven, the seven last regulars who were still on the residence will be given the Boarding Pass. The hosts didn't care what methods they used and as long as there were seven regulars left, they would get Boarding Pass.

Hell Train Boarding Pass will give a chance to the holder to enter the train. Even though they won't be able to participate the tournament as only those who had the tickets were allowed, the Hell Train Boarding Pass will give them a chance to get the tickets on their own and board the train. The regulars who were inside the rooms were also allowed to participate.

Without hesitating, after they learnt about that event, those regulars pulled out their weapons and began to kill each other.

It was a simple game yet it turned to be a bloody fight between them. The games in the tower were indeed scary. The methods were all open and they could use any kind of tricks for it, but of course, the easiest and simplest one was to fight and kill each other. Charlotte had guessed this from the start and she paid no care for it. But she wondered, if those regulars kept killing each other outside their rooms, then wouldn't there be corpses and strong scent of blood? How will the people in the Train City clean them up and how will they leave their room later on?

She put that unnecessary thought aside and then headed towards her room with Noah. When she arrived on her room, she immediately jumped to her bed, praising how comfortable the bed was before noticing Noah's expression and called him with her sweet smile.

Noah looked as if he was thinking something and it made her wonder what he was thinking.

"What am I thinking?" He echoed. "It's just nothing necessary actually."

With her chin propped, she asked Noah, "Really? But I still want to know! Can't you tell me?"

"I'm just thinking.....what will I do after I free myself" Noah answered as he sat down on the bed near with Charlotte. "If you were in my position, then what will you do?"

It didn't take long for Charlotte to give an answer.

"If I were in your position, then the first thing I would do is to look for Celeste and tease her for her relationship with my brother before greeting the others. After that, I will find a good place with good dishes before devouring all the foods and drinks!" Charlotte answered while hugging the white pillow.

Noah smiled when he considered it, "That doesn't sound bad. The first thing that I would do after gaining my freedom back is to look for Celeste. After that, I would look for that Altaira bastard and slowly torture-"

If Charlotte could hit him, then she would hit him. But now, when she tried to hit him, she only hit the air. Remembering that he was still a ghost, she froze for a moment before lowering her hand and pretended nothing happened.

"If you dare to touch my brother, then I will seal you back there" Charlotte said. "If you hurt my brother, then doesn't that mean I'm helping you in hurting my own brother?"

"Well, the one who is going to be scolded is you anyway, not me."

"And the one who Celeste will hate is you, not me" Charlotte responded. "After all, I'm just helping you to gain back your freedom."

"You are right" he said and pondered about his words. "It seemed like if I beat your brother out of blue, Celeste will really ignore me for a few days. Then I have to find for a perfect excuse to beat your brother up!"

"Do you really think that my brother is that easy to defeat?" She asked and propped her cheek.

"I haven't tried yet, but that would be an interesting and challenging fight" he answered.

"What's so interesting about it? It would turn into a bloody fight!"

"Anyway, aren't you going to go outside to watch the fight until the end?"

"Why should I? Those amateurs are just fighting and killing each other. There is nothing worth to watch."

Speaking about amateurs, wasn't she also one? Noah thought that she didn't have the right to call others amateurs when she had just recently ascended become a D- rank regular.

"Yeah" he agreed with her words. "Those fools are just beating each other up. There is nothing fun to watch."

Charlotte wondered whether it was her imagination or not that Noah was actually behaving nicer towards her for these times. Well, it was probably because that she was going to save him and he was treating her nicely for it.

At outside, the regulars were indeed killing each other. Moontari and a ticket holder named Mahan were watching the fight right on the arena. They watched how the regulars killed each other when there were plenty of ways to determine the last seven without killing each other. But then again, those regulars were still amateurs and killing has always been something very normal in the tower. It was the easiest and the simplest way they could thought.

Moontari didn't mind watching how they killed each other. His plan was simple; to choose seven last regulars who survived. The last seven regulars who survived will he convince to join Aka's team.

But from all the regulars there, there were two regulars whom he really wanted. They were the twins who joined Boro's Team. Because of their naive appearances, he had looked down on them at first but after witnessing the young lass beating people, he was sure that the two of them were the strongest E- rank regulars who had just advanced becoming D- rank regulars. He wondered where Boro found the two of them.

Speaking about Boro, when he discovered Hwaryun's identity as a guide, he was surprised. Guide could read one's path and to predict what will happen in the future. He was surprised to know that she was a guide and a guide from FUG.

Hwaryun had explained that this game was meant to get rid of regulars as many as possible. FUG wanted something from the train and they didn't need this many regulars to join the train, that was the reason why they were hosting tournaments. Hearing that FUG wanted something from the train made Boro started to guess what they were chasing and he had a feeling that they might be trying to do that thing again.

FUG had put lots of efforts for this train. When Hana Yu called it as corruption, Hwaryun made it clear that FUG was a heartless organization. They could do anything to get whatever they wanted. In order for them to get on the train safely, they needed to cooperate with each other.

She had mentioned that some of the regulars were the regulars who had just advanced from E- rank regulars to D- rank regulars.

Right when she said those words, there was a new participant in the Last Seven Game.

The participant who wore sunglasses and dragged luggage with her was none other than the famous Yura Ha who declared that she had stopped being an idol in order to climb the tower.

With the two tickets she had, Yura Ha could let the survivors enter the room and left the seven outside to get the boarding passes. In this way, she had gotten all the survivors on her side.

Boro was irritated when Hana Yu kept admiring Yura Ha, saying that with few words, she had be friended with the survivors outside there. It was because that the stronger Yura Ha, the troublesome it would be. There was no friends in the Hell Train, Boro said to Hana Yu.

"....This time, the real storm will come" Charlotte said in all sudden.

Noah understood her words clearly as he once tried to get to the Hell Train. He had faced with lots of regulars on his own and none of them were friendly.

But the reason Charlotte said those words because she knew that in the train, some of her friends were doomed to die. The thought of it made her heart sad while Noah, he didn't understand her sadness. Living and dying was something natural that everyone would have face some day, he understood this clearly. It was impossible for her to keep all her friends safe and sound in the train that was extremely dangerous.

"Are you still thinking on how to make all your friends safe?" He asked her.

Her adorable face was frowning in sadness and seriousness. She closed her eyes, "If I could save them, why should I let them die?"

Noah said nothing. He wasn't the type to care about others. He wasn't good in comforting others. Remaining quiet would be the best answer as he knew that whatever he say will only make her sad even more.

Noah noticed that there was a notification on her phone. Looking at Emily, they discovered that the tournament will be hold tomorrow at two p.m.

Before they could say a word about it, Charlotte received a message from the pocket.

┌──── •✧• ────┐

I will get there by tomorrow night. See you then.

- Khun-

└──── •✧• ────┘

'Tomorrow night?' Charlotte began to wonder why he arrived late.

┌──── •✧• ────┐

I'll wait.

└──── •✧• ────┘

After she replied with one word, she heard someone knocking the door.

"Charlotte, can you come out for awhile?" Celeste politely asked. "We are going to talk about the tournament."

"I'd say that we should have kicked the door and dragged her outside." Charlotte heard Altaira's voice. "Who knows what evil idea she is planning inside there."

"Don't be like that, she is your sister."

"I don't know her."

Noah smiled and looked at Charlotte, "It seemed like your brother is still annoyed."

"I just held his girlfriend's hand and he is annoyed already" Charlotte said and stood up. "But this is a good thing. I will have lots of ways to piss him off in the future."

Outside, they learnt that Boro had encountered a slayer candidate when he once climbed and boarded to the Hell Train.

The slayer candidate who he encountered killed everyone one by one slowly and made it all appear as if all the murders in the train wasn't his fault. He killed everyone there and Boro was one of the survivors with the four others while one of his friends died. For the sake of his friend, he wanted to know what item did the slayer candidate want.

Now that Bam heard all of these, he began to wonder what Rachel was planning.

After discussing about it, they left to their own rooms to get some rest.

"A slayer candidate, I wonder who he is" Noah said to Charlotte. While she was lying on the bed, he sat on the corner of it.

It wasn't the first time he barged into her room like this without anyone else noticing. Charlotte was sure that if both Altaira and Bam knew about this, Noah won't be able to live another day without losing an arm or a leg.

"You haven't met him yet?" Charlotte asked. "How long you've been trapped there?"

"Fifty years" Noah answered.

Charlotte raised one of her eyebrows and sat down, looking at Noah, "So you are an old man?"

A vein bulged on his head, "Say it again and I'll throw you out."

"This is my room" she argued.

"Try me, kid."

Charlotte scoffed and put both of her hands behind her head, lying down on the bed again.

"Anyway, you must have known something about the slayer candidate right?" Noah asked.

Charlotte changed her position and had her back facing Noah, pulling her blanket up. She answered, "Yeah."

"Then tell me!"

"Heaven's secret can't be revealed."

Noah frowned when he heard that and wanted to hit Charlotte, "What kind of answer is that? Come on, don't sleep yet. Tell me about it!"

"You will face it on your own later" Charlotte said. "Don't you know that people from the three realms hate spoilers?"

"As if I care about them" he said. He then stood up and said, "I'm going to check on Celeste."

After he said those words, Charlotte glanced at him only to find him walking pass the wall as if it was nothing.

Charlotte, "......"

Indeed, he was indeed a ghost. He knew how to make use of everything he had.

Next Morning

Train City

Third Floor: Restaurant.

└──────═━┈┈━═──────┘

In the restaurant, Hana Yu really ate the most among all of them.

"You eat a lot for a girl, huh?" Hanwool asked.

"G....girls usually eat this much! We are humans too!" Hana Yu defended herself.

Hanwool pointed to Celeste and asked, "She is a girl right? But she doesn't eat as much as you do."

"That's-"

"Hana is right" Altaira said and added more rice on Celeste's plate. "Girls should have eaten more so that they won't hungry. You aren't the one to do diet, why are you eating this less?"

"I'm not hungry" Celeste answered, frowned at the amount of rice he added to her plate.

"And why aren't you hungry?" Altaira asked her.

"It's..... I am just not hungry."

Charlotte looked at the pair of lovers. Her brother never treated her like that before, adding rice to her plate. It wasn't that she was jealous of Celeste for not getting the same treatment, but seeing how Altaira behaved like this was kind of unusual. And seeing Celeste's expression, she looked like as if she was hiding something.

It didn't take long for Altaira to guess it and said to her, "It seems like from now on, I can't let you hold the sweets. This isn't the first time you secretly eat them right? And now, you aren't hungry."

"You know that I am not hungry yet you feed me this much" she said.

"I don't care. If you don't finish it all, then you can forget about joining the tournament later."

Fortunately Noah wasn't around at this time. He was trapped in the train and can't eat anything. If this time he followed her and the others to eat breakfast, then he would only be tormenting himself by watching how the others enjoyed the dishes and desserts. Charlotte assumed that he was probably still at her room; sulking.

Whenever Noah watched both Altaira and Celeste together, he looked like he was going to angry to death. Back then in the Test Floor, he would always complain to her about her brother's behavior and urged her to separate them both. Now that eight years had passed and their relationship didn't weaken and became stronger and stronger, he was too tired to deal with them in his current form and decided to bear everything first. When he had gotten his body back, he will seriously settle this with Altaira. Thinking about this made Charlotte wonder whether it was the right thing to free Noah since if the two of them started fighting with each other, no one else could stop them. She was sure that if this happened, then the two of them will be badly hurt and it will also involve the others.

No, she can't let it happen. Those scenes could appear on her dream but not on the reality. She would find a way to prevent that from happening.

Now that Charlotte remembered about the tournament, all of them should have been enough to participate on it and none of them were weak. She glanced at Hwaryun who said nothing and simply enjoyed her breakfast.

Why did they need more teammates as they already had enough? As a guide, she could have seen that none of them will die right? Maybe she saw that as the part of Bam's fate and path. He was destined to be friends with them.

Boro had told them that it was a good thing to wake up early, as right now the regulars must be arguing and fighting with each other again. He said that there were regulars who blocked the elevator in order to reduce the number of the competitors. Even if those regulars will be beaten up, the amount of the time that it takes for the elevator to move around could drive someone mad. They will sure arrive late for the tournament.

At the residence, like what Boro said, there were indeed some regulars guarding the elevator, a big one and a small one. But in the middle of the noise, there was a loud 'bang'.

A boy with blue hair and eyes easily defeated one of the regulars who guarded the elevator without breaking a sweat. His hands were still kept on his pockets.

"Let's go and capture Casano Beniamino" the boy, Ran, said to his teammates.

Train City

Fourth Floor: Stadium

└──────═━┈┈━═──────┘

"The tournament for the Hell Train tickets will begin soon. All regulars, please come to the center of the stadium. All regulars participating in the tournament, please come to the center of the stadium."

"Hm...it's noisy here" Rak said and crossed his little arms. "That ticket or whatever it is must be important."

Altaira glanced at Charlotte who took off her black cap. The young lass who was dressed in black jacket and white t-shirt along with black joggers. In addition, she also wore a pair of simple white shoes.

Listening to what Rak said, Charlotte put both of her hands on the pockets and responded, "Of course. Without the ticket, you can't get in the train. And if you can't get in the train, the blue turtle would laugh at you."

Rak scoffed, "I could get to the train without needing that ticket."

Boro responded, "Pretty sure you can't."

"This is an announcement for all the regulars. To participate in this tournament, at least one member of the team must have a ticket. And the winning team will be awarded with boarding tickets for the Hell Train. There will be five members to each team. And for participants without team, they will be randomly selected and put into a team."

After a moment of pause, there was another announcement.

"Ring ring~ It is now two p.m. Based on the data of regulars here, we will create the match list."

A screen was shown so that everyone could see who their opponents would be.

Their team would be facing the famous idol, Yura Ha.

"This is the match list for each team which will fight for the boarding ticket."

"This....Yu...Yura Ha?! We are going to meet her at the first round! How lucky!" Hana Yu exclaimed in happiness and delight. "I will get to see her face! I can't believe I get to see a celebrity!"

Charlotte tried to not hit her own forehead with her fan after she heard Hana Yu's words. Altaira had already rolled his eyes and ignored Hana Yu.

"I don't like this situation" Boro said what Charlotte wanted to say. "She is from Ha Family....damn it."

Ha Family was one of the Ten Great Families with their members are known with the reputation of having the incredible strength. It was said to be a matriarchal family just like Yeon's family.
