Zahard Princesses were the young ladies chosen from the 10 Great Families. They have Zahard's blood running on their veins.
It was said that the king's blood or Zahard's blood was powerful that Poe Bidau Gustang suggested the king to choose the beautiful and strong ladies from the 10 Great Families to inject his blood on them. These Zahard Princesses had some rules that they had to obey, they weren't allowed to love someone else, they weren't allowed to go to the Floor of Death and they weren't allowed to go against Zahard.
They should fight for the 13 Months and to collect all of them.
Whoever collected all the 13 Months will be marrying Zahard and became his queen. Marrying Zahard means to have the power and glory so anyone would do all means to get that chance.
And speaking about the 2 princesses, the two of them were Endorsi and Anaak who were hostile against each other. Now that the Fisherman Class had a test where the regulars should be fighting with each other until there 8 survivors and that if they fell from the pillars that they were standing, they would be injured and disqualified because of lacking points, these two Zahard Princesses were the center since they were the most powerful one there.
Endorsi Zahard had short brown hair with a pair of yellow eyes. Like any other Zahard Princesses who were chosen, she was a beauty who was quite strong in combat. Meanwhile, Anaak, the green girl with unique brown eyes and the tail that made her called as a 'lizard', she has been watching Endorsi ever since the test started.
Celeste watched how the two princesses fighting against each other and pushed everyone down before they fell down on their own. She didn't know whether she should laugh or not since she and the others didn't have to do anything in order to pass the test. When the test had finished, she wanted to tell Charlotte and Altaira about it.

Charlotte really had to thank Laure.
Like what she expected, it was indeed a good thing that she helped Bam to look for Laure's pillow and now, whenever he had time, he would teach the two of them and help them to improve faster.
Hoh left first as he said that he has something to do and Charlotte snorted while glaring to him behind him.
"Charlotte" Bam called her name and gave her the skeptical look. He had tried to convince her that Hoh wasn't a bad person but she didn't listen. This time, he called her name not to lecture her, but to flick her forehead.
Charlotte was bewildered.
"Brother, you....since when you learn how to flick someone?" Rather than asking why she was flicked when she was helping him, she would rather know how on earth her brother learnt to flick her forehead.
Turned out, Bam told Khun and asked him whether he had an advice to help his problem. He had tried to convince Charlotte but it didn't work and then Khun advised him to flick her forehead whenever she did something wrong as hard as he can as some sort of punishment.

This made him annoyed. Should he give Bam an idea to discipline her? Usually, he would just say his four famous words whenever she did something wrong: "Don't do that again". But since Khun was kind enough to give Ban and advice, doesn't that mean whenever she made something wrong, she would have her forehead flicked? She disagreed with that.
But speaking about the devil, the devil suddenly appeared on her back and to prevent her from running away like the frightened rabbit, he put his hands on her shoulders. Charlotte knew that Khun must have heard her when she complained about him and also knew that he won't let her off. So, she shut her mouth and remained silent while he put his irritated friendly smile on. Charlotte could feel the anger that he was trying to swallow after her words.
Turned out, he was there since he had an idea about how to be friend with Endorsi. He didn't really care about Anaak since that lizard had attempted to steal the Black March from them so when Charlotte advised them to be friend with Anaak and to give Black March to her, he was surprised. Bam was also surprised.
"......have you lost your mind?" Khun asked.
She shook her head, "I think not."
"The first thing that she'll do when she sees you is to break your neck" Khun said again to her. "Do you really think that she would be friend with you?"
Charlotte just smiled awkwardly. Anaak has been hostile to her after she felt that Charlotte stole her Black March away from her. But Charlotte believed that she should be confident and fix this problem as she was the one who messed up the plotline first. But as she tried to convince Khun to believe in Anaak and to give the Black March to her, she felt that she was one step closer to be swallowed by Khun's magical bag, Manbarondenna.
Manbarondenna was a magical bag that could duplicate and also swallow people alive no matter how big the person. If she was swallowed by this bag, she could guarantee that Khun would let her starve inside that bag for some days.
Charlotte knew what Khun was worried about. He was worried that Anaak couldn't be trusted and that she would hurt them when she had both Green April and Black March. She wanted to convince him but it was just hard without the clear evidence that Anaak was on their side. She can't just possibly said that she had read them in the Manhwa and Anaak will be their friend based on the storyline right? She would rather hit her head on the wall rather than telling them that they were just the part of the characters that she read in Manhwa.
But without evidence, her words will just be empty words. At the end, she sighed and backed down. There were plenty of chances in the future and rushing it might not be a good choice, Charlotte thought.

"Anyway, didn't you say that you have an idea to be friend with Endorsi?" She changed the topic.
"Yeah" Khun said and pulled a chair to sit down. "But this is kind of risky. First, we have to......"
•••
How to be friend with a Zahard Princess who failed the test: bring food to her and then convince her that she was thin. Charlotte had learnt it all from Khun and she didn't know whether she should laugh or cry when it worked perfectly like what he thought.
"I don't expect that words could be this powerful...." Charlotte said to herself. She sat on the floor and against the wall while Khun was waiting for Bam and his good results outside Endorsi's room. He was leaning against the wall with his hands on his pockets.
"When you threatened Altaira that you are going to spread rumors about him and Celeste, don't you realize that?" Khun asked.
Charlotte shook her head, "To say that I was threatening him, it's more like bluffing. Celeste is nice to me, I don't want to hurt her."
'And also, I don't want to be skinned alive by that Noah' Charlotte thought. Fortunately he didn't know that Charlotte was planning to use his sister otherwise, Noah might have just killed her right on the spot.
She looked again at the door. They were just too long. She knew that things couldn't be rushed, but she can't help but to feel bored. She hit the floor while keep looking at the door, waiting for Bam to come out.
"Where has the floor offended you that you keep hitting it?" Khun asked when he noticed it.
"Bored" she just responded with one word. She put her hand on her knees again and lifted her head to Khun, "Can I go inside and see how's my brother doing?"
"It's not like your brother is in danger" Khun said. The princess was hurt and was in the risk of being disqualified, she won't be able to do anything to the person who wanted to help her. Therefore, he calmed for a bit. "Stop being childish and get up."
Instead of listening, Charlotte ignored him and pouted before looking at the door again and played with her brown hair. Khun just sighed.
Soon enough, Bam left Endorsi's room with a good news for them. Khun's plan worked like what he thought! With this, they have another friend on the list.
The next morning, Charlotte learnt that Shibisu had tried to use the same trick on Anaak but failed as Anaak threatened her to lower down the food. This made Charlotte chuckle. Different people had different reactions.
Noah has been watching them for a few days and asked Charlotte, "I'm not being jealous or something, but I'm sure that you know that betrayal is another name for this tower. Are you sure that the regulars you be friend with won't hurt you?"
Of course they won't. Charlotte knew that most of them were nice and loyal people just by reading the Manhwa. But when Noah asked her this question, a part of her wanted to believe them not because she had read the Manhwa, but because she had taken them as her real friends.
She replied, "They won't betray me."
"Are you sure about that?" Noah asked again.
"Besides, I don't have anything to be cheated on. I don't have power, authority or money. If they want to make use of me, then they should look for someone else right?" Charlotte asked.
"Right, you are very poor."
Charlotte, "........"
His words really had stabbed Charlotte.
Before, in her former life, she was the daughter of a wealthy family and now that she had transmigrated, she was left with nothing. The money that her family had can't even save her from death. After her first death, Charlotte now understood why people said that when they die, the one that will determine their next life was their sins and merits. And when that happens, even if she had a mountain of golds, if she was a bad person, then she would still be punished by Gods.
"Anyway, I will be looking for Celeste" Noah said. "You are fine on your own right?"
Charlotte laughed bitterly as she walked to her class. If she could skip class, then she would skip them all from beginning.
|Wave Controller Class|
Charlotte had almost made one bang while Bam, he had tried to make two bangs when one of them vanished.
"It took me some time to learn my first bang and people call me genius" Yuga said. "But for the two of you, it only takes few weeks to make one. Should I call you super genius? King of genius?"
"Just call us by our names" Charlotte said while sweat dropping.
"Very well then" he said and looked at the two of them. "Anyway, your talents are something that people in the tower will be jealous of. Remember that."
"Yes" Charlotte responded and then looked at Bam before she whispered, "Do you hear him? We should be more careful."
"You aren't talking about what I am thinking right?" He was ready to flick her forehead again.
"Then why don't you tell me what you are thinking so that I could answer your question?" Charlotte asked.
"And of course, I still have one more thing to tell to both of you" Yuga said after he coughed and startled them. "Please pay more attention to my lecture rather than whispering on the back, do you understand?"
The two of them laughed nervously before agreeing with what Yuga said to them.

Mistwalker Xyn and the Cult of Eldritch Evil
[Participant in the 2020 Royal Road Writathon Challenge] Having just graduated to adulthood, Xyn is salty about how his lackluster Awakening has resulted in his current derided status within his clan and tribe, particularly when compared to the successes of his litter-siblings. The revelation of the truth about his heritage sets in motion events leading to him traveling to human lands on a secret mission for his tribe. Cringeworthy moments and awkwardness will ensue as young Xyn (an anthropomorphic tiger-kin), raised in the sheltered life of a martial artist, navigates human society with a trusty sidekick or two picked up along the way and might just save his corner of the world while he's at it. Gore will be minimally present as needed to tell a fantasy martial arts tale. There won't be any sexual content, but mild/vague suggestive themes may occur occasionally due to the nature of Xyn's mission and his insecurities. Story should be teen appropriate.
