the moon so gentle

the clouds so snug

the sea roaring

the sky so dark

beautiful but terrifying

peaceful but threatening

a silent smile before the storm

walking along the beach

with no one beside me

I could fall asleep

and stay here forever

the moonlight falls

gently on my face

almost like

a mother's touch

to heal me

to forgive me

for what I've done

I wish

I could stay here

and forget this world

because there's nothing like
