For now, there may be a storm.

There may be a hurricane

brewing, a typhoon on the

rise, a tornado spiral-

ling into my life and cau-

sing destruction—but it will

not always be so. The storm

will die out and—as storms al-

ways do—leave behind remnants

of its ruination. But

ruins can be picked up and

cleared away, and buildings can

be built up again. All that

matters is that the storm has

passed. I hope terribly that

one day, the storm in my heart

just might die out too.
