The Earth is full of rubble and of lovely things that have been demolished and reduced to dust. Mountains collapse when the tectonic plates quake with the intent of ruination. Trees fall when they are struck by the electricity that courses through bolts of lightning. Gardens are always ineluctably filled with dead, dried-up flowers, eaten away by insects. Asteroids and falling stars themselves are fragments, originating from the formation of planets. When you are feeling broken, remember that the world, and the entire universe, are broken too. That never stopped them from being beautiful.
