"We should take you home now," She said while walking over to Chris and me, with Alahna.

"I'll see ya soon then?" He got up brushing the sand off him. I gave him a slight nod before he collected his stuff and walked back to the car park with his brothers.

"Let's go I'm exhausted!" She whines grabbing my hand to pull me up.

We didn't bother getting changed since we lived pretty close to the beach and we also didn't really care. The ride home was pretty quiet, We were all extremely tired so we just had some soft music on.

We took Alahna home first since she was whining about being away from her bed. Once we dropped her off Mia took me home. When we got there I just stared at the house, I didn't move for over 5 minutes I just looked at it.

"You ok?" I turned to look at her and gave her a soft smile while nodding. "Be safe" She shouted when I got out of the car and she drove off.

I ran up to my room closed the door and flopped onto my bed and I passed out, I was so tired from running around that the second my head touched the pillow I was out cold.

I woke up to the sound of screaming again, The only times I would wake up to screaming was when dad was home or Mike was drunk but apart from that I would wake up laughing.

"You didn't go to school yesterday!" He practically kicked my door open, It scared me, "We pay for you to go to school, So you need to fucking go, Mae!" He shouted at me again.

"I-I'm sorry-" I was cut off by dad walking in and throwing a bear bottle on the ground making it break, I jumped when the glass flung up and hit me. He started to walk towards me and I was even more shocked.

I was shocked, I knew that my dad had always had a drinking problem but I never thought that he would drink a home. Whenever he was drinking he would never come home- Hell he was never home, The only time he would come home was for money or some shit, But when he didn't get it he would have a hissy fit breaking some stuff and then he leaves.

"DAD, WHAT THE FUCK!?" He shouts pushing him away from me and he moved in front of me. "Get out" I was surprised he was so calm, He pointed to the door and dad gave me a glare before scoffing and walking out mumbling something but I couldn't quite hear it.

"Are you ok?" He turned around but I didn't look at him my eyes were glued to the door while he was looking at me with worry, "Mae!" He shouts and I look at him and give him a nod, "Get ready for school, Mia will be here soon" He says before walking out and closing the door.

I get up and I flinch when I stand on the glass, At this point, I didn't really care so I ignored it and went straight to my wardrobe and got a yellow champion hoodie and some black sweatpants, Once I got that I went to my bed where my shoes were and I put on some Black and white jordans.

I heard a honk coming from the front, I went to my window to see Mia and Alahna seating in the car yelling something at each other. I quickly got my bag and practically ran down the stairs ignoring the shouting of dad.

"Fucking final- Are you okay?" They both looked at me with shock since I had tears forming but I got in the car and wiped them away.

"I'm fine guys, let's just go," I said while looking back at the house. Mia started the car and pulled out of the driveway while Alahna put on some music.

We were driving for another 5 minutes before we got to school, We were still screaming with the windows down when Mia pulled into her spot, We were getting weird stares from people walking by but we didn't care.

"Let's not go in today" She suggested, Mia agreed but I didn't know if I should since the last time I didn't go to school dad nearly hit me, I was reluctant but I finally agreed. "Yay, We should go to the Sturniolos since they wanted to hang out" I looked at Alahna in shock.

"What?!" I was shocked since she didn't think to announce this earlier, "Why though?" I tilt my head a bit.

"We have something to do but we could always bring them along" She blurts out and I immediately know what she means, The fucking modelling I agreed to I completely forget it was today.

"Maybe you guys should just do it but I can watch" I suggest but Mia just burst out laughing with Alahna laughing after her. I crossed my arms and turned to look out the window with a pout.

"Let's go then," She says while she drives away from the school and drives to the agency. We still had music on while we were driving but I didn't sing to it only Alahna and Mia did.

When the song ends Mia pulls into the car park and we get out to see a bunch of paparazzi waiting for us, To say I was confused was an understatement. I got out of the car and was nearly blinded by the flashes of the cameras. I thought they were only there for Mia or Alahna since they were sorta famous but the paparazzi started yall from my name which made me even more confused.

"Why were you with Christopher Sturniolo?!" I stopped in my tracks when I heard that, I turned around and was about to answer when someone grabbed my wrist and pulled me inside.

"Ignore them, Mae" I just nodded my head, She let go and started walking to the front desk which I followed.

They started having a conversation with the receptionist while I stood there, I felt Out-of-place, I not only feel like an outsider, but others also appear to be a stranger to me. They don't even acknowledge me they go straight to Mia and Alahna.

"Go and get ready Mae!" She shouts while she was away with Alahna leaving me there all by myself.

I feel everybody's eyes on me and I hate it, I try and walk but I don't move. After 5 minutes I muster up the courage to follow where Mia and Alahna went, Once I get there I see them In matching outfits and there is an outfit for me but it doesn't match theirs.

To say that I was upset was another understatement, Both of my best friends were matching while yet again I looked out of place. I knew that this was a bad idea, But now I wanted to run out of the building because while Mia and Alahna were posing for pictures everyone just looked at me weirdly.

That was until they walked over to me and I had about 5 hands on me, Someone was pulling me onto a chair while others were trying to fix my hair and then others were putting makeup on me.

"Quick we need her pictures!" He shouts from where he was sitting, They all hurried up and then I was being pulled onto the set. Alahna and Mia were sitting next to him in their own chairs smiling at me.

I was posing for pictures left-right-and-centre, I felt exhausted and they were dragging me to different places. By the end of it the agency wanted me to sign a contract because they wanted me to be one of the models like Mia, I of course said yes.
