Gumtree Loneliness - Blurb

Felicia is a lonely 18 year old girl. She has no family or friends. All her life she never fitted in, because of her appearance, personality and interests. Frankly, Felicia's heart yearns for the stars, not an actual star but another world. In this world she sees herself accepted for who she is.

Every late evening, after supper, Felicia takes a stroll to her favourite seat under the biggest gumtree near the hostel she lives at. At this very spot, she reads, thinks and sometimes writes about different worlds. A new world. Not Earth.

On one night, Jaffa - the mysterious being watches Felicia. He is intrigued by her thoughts, as he is a type of being that can hear 'human thoughts'. From then onwards Jaffa comes to hear Felicia's thoughts on every occasion she's at the gumtree, which is mainly at the hour of 7pm. He is simply addicted to her thoughts. What will happen between the alien and the lonely girl?
