We reached the Kundrra Mansion. Aunty was standing there with an Aarti plate in her hands. She smiled and performed Pooja and then she placed a big platter with kumkum paste in it and asked me to step in it and then enter the house with red feet. I entered and then she hugged me very tightly. Then I put my hand marks on the wall.

After all the rituals were performed mom told me to go to study as dad wanted to talk to me.

I went there and my dad said, "Karan we would've faced humiliation, if Prakash had not come up with the marriage proposal. Now that you are married to her, I want you to understand that it was a sudden

decision. Give her time to adjust and try your level best to make this marriage work. But don't impose yourself on her, just take things at a slow pace."

I said, " Yes dad, don't worry I cut all the connections the moment I read that letter and as far as Tejasswi is concerned, I will take care of her and be nice to her, I understand all this."

Dad's expressions became softer and he smiled at me and said good night.

I went to my room. It was decorated with flowers and candles. Oh, this is so awkward. So I took my laptop and I went to my study room that was attached to my bedroom (kind of like a secret room).

TEJU'S POV:

After all the rituals, I was very tired.

Aunty took me to the guest room and told me to rest.

Paras came in with a wide smile. "Hi Bhabi! I have some t-shirt and track

pants for you want to change." he said

with a goofy smile.

I nodded my head and went to the

restroom to get changed. The shirt came to my mid-thigh and I had to fold the pants in half. I don't know who these were.

I came out and Paras instantly started

laughing at me. Aunty had a mild smile erupting at the corner of her lips. I glared at him playfully and he said "Sorry bhabi, you look so funny in this. You are so small & cute", still laughing and aunty left the room.

"Oh! stop it paras." I glared at him playfully.

"You like my brother. Don't you bhabhi?" Paras said.

"What? No! It's not like that, Paras. You are mistaken. It's not like that" I said sheepishly.

Though intrigued by my answer he didn't push me further as if he knows everything.

Then he gave me a house tour. He showed me everyone's room except one room upstairs that is straight across the swing. You are that's Karan's room.

After the home tour, we all sat to have dinner except Karan. The dinner was light and tasty.

Suneeta aunty gave me a red saree and helped with it and I did my hair. I

just applied some light makeup and nude lip gloss.

At 9pm I was left at the doorstep of the Karan's room.Do they actually think we are going to do some dirty stuff tonight? Impossible.

I could hear my heart beat and feel the somersaults my stomach was making.You made this decision and you have to face what's coming.

Gathering all your courage, I gently knocked on the door and waited for a reply. After a minute I pushed the door. It was not locked. I plugged my head inside and scanned the room. Karan is not there.

The room was decorated with rose flower garland and there were floating candle arrangements with rose petals in them. My heart was racing like anything. I was scared as I didn't know what we were going to talk about.
