Noticing that he still intended to make a fuss, Song Qinghan just delivered a smile while shaking his head.
Well, shouldn’t he be the one who was concerned about things being messed up? Even though he currently knew nothing about this Jiayi guy, he was still able to figure out that the femina man came here not for just a pure intention.
The one who tended to bully the weak but flatter the noble would never do something good in the end.
But even so, as long as this femina man wouldn’t be that stupid and annoying to harm his interest, he would definitely turn a blind eye.
The two had nothing to deal with this afternoon, so they went to report for file together negotiating about the affair of exchanging areas.
When allotting the areas, Jiayi purposely partitioned Wu Dahu’s tent into his responsible area. Noticing that Song Qinghan didn’t perceive anything strange, he turned his face and laughed secretly with complacency.
Of course he knew that Song Qinghan possessed a way more beautiful appearance than he had, so even Song Qinghan was a married femina man with a child, he had to be cautious on everything. Or otherwise, if the soldier he affected the most came to have an eye on Song Qinghan, that would totally be his biggest misfortune in his life!
Well, on the other side, Song Qinghan really had no idea where Wu Dahu’s tent located, so naturally he couldn’t tell what the difference was between the current re-arranged area and the previous one Jiayi orally announced. Furthermore, it wasn’t a necessity at all for him to enter Wu Dahu’s tent, it would be better than doing nothing as long as he was able to get closer to Wu Dahu and at least made sure that he was safe during the tense period.
After this kind of affair was finally perfectly solved, Song Qinghan made a meticulous consideration and then decided to visit the Imperial Doctors himself. He carried Little Shitou who was sleeping in his arms, and then hurried to walk to the direction leading to the tent groups where the Imperial Doctors stayed.
Smell of blood pervaded everywhere when Song Qinghan approached the tent groups, and he couldn’t help but frown tight.
Little Shitou seemed to have smelt such a pungent smell, he sniffed and then opened his eyes slowly, and then subconsciously buried his head deeper into Song Qinghan’s arms.
“Daddy, bad smell…”
His babbling finally attracted the attention from someone who was aside by Song Qinghan. His tightly frowning eyebrows released a bit when he caught a glimpse of Little Shitou. Yet he still delivered a harsh look to Song Qinghan when his sight fell on him, and then uttered unpleasantly, “Why do you bring the child here? Don’t you know that right there in front of us is somewhere used for saving injured soldiers?”

Song Qinghan felt quite awkward standing there as if he was standing between a rock and a hard place, and then without further hesitation he stuffed Little Shitou in his arms with mantle covered on his head, so as to isolate the pungent smell. And then he frowned either, answering, “Are there so many people got injured? I had heard from the resident in Yueban City that the serious cases would be sent back and get cured. How come this place is still filled with smell of blood like flooding everywhere?”
The man sneered abruptly as if to show his disdain over Song Qinghan’s ignorance, “Where do you think we can get such a great supplement to send all injured back?”
“Besides…” He took a sudden pause, glanced around meticulously and then fixed his gaze back on Song Qinghan, “What if some soldiers tend to be deserters using the injuries as an excuse?”, he said in a low voice.
It could be seen that Song Qinghan was rather flabbergasted. He then asked in disbelief, “So in avoiding the situation that several soldiers would use it as a bug, you choose to ignore the ones who got injured badly?”
Seeing that Song Qinghan was showing a shocked face, the man came to have a feeling that he was looked down upon by such words. And then he waved his hand impatiently, saying, “Don’t talk if you know nothing, alright? This is a command from the Lords, not ours, and what we should do is to be obedient and accomplish our mission. I have told you all I can tell, leave this place right now, or I will report to your team leader about your presence here today!”
Song Qinghan came to calm himself down a little bit while the man was trying to show his harsh expression as hard as he could, he moved his sight again to the front. But it was hard for him to see clearly what was inside in the tent groups. Well, it seemed that even though the official leaders intended to awe the soldiers by warning that no soldiers should be sent back, they still didn’t want to frighten the soldiers with such a bloody scene.
Thinking of that, he turned back decisively intending to visit here again the other day. For one thing, he wanted to find a best solution to keep Little Shitou safe, and for the other he had to get a reliable person who was able to take him inside there because he would never believe that such a place was somewhere for free access.

Now the problem is… Who is the most reliable one here?
He was wholly immersing in making a plan while walking, and he didn’t pay a close attention on probing the road. So when he was passing a street corner, he collided with someone who emerged abruptly from the other side. He caught a glimpse of the other party’s look when he bent his back to make an apology, but the next moment he suddenly felt something quite familiar as if he had once met with this guy.
The man who stood there was still showing a face of dissatisfaction after Song Qinghan made a sincere apology, he rubbed his chest while complaining, “Are you blind or something? What do you think those pitiful soldiers will be taken care of if my arms and legs are broken… Oh wait, it’s you!?”
Due to the fact that Song Qinghan did not know whether such a feeling of familiarity was good or bad, he intended to keep his walking after the apology. But beyond his expectation, he was dragged suddenly by the man after a few steps forward.
He turned around and noticed that the man was right looking at himself with eyes opened wide. And finally, memories flocked into his mind, he then responded subconsciously, “Are you Mouse?”
Shuluo released his hands, and then came to echo, “Oh! I never expected that you would still remember my name! You are such a talent in memorizing everything, aren’t you? Well, if you never show up again, I would think that you already died… I am quite floored that I can meet you here! By the way, what’s your intention being here? Don’t tell me you are getting rid of the ‘Chase and Kill’ by that auction…”
Seeing that the man was still being frivolous like he was previously when they were in the auction arena, Song Qinghan glanced around for a brief moment, and then walked to the corner while uttering, “That affair was solved long ago, the reason I came here is because my husband is here.”
“Solved?!”
Shuluo sounded while being rather flabbergasted, he turned to size Song Qinghan from head to toe, and then responded in a low voice, “So, you are a REAL miracle doctor?”
Even though Song Qinghan had never confessed to him about his exact competing price on that auction arena, he could now draw a conclusion himself for a rough possibility: Song Qinghan had made an alluring condition that he was able to cure the man who had a back problem.
As for that man’s identity, he did not bother to ask further. After all, it was such a taboo no matter for Song Qinghan or for the auction itself. But instead of knowing further about the auction stuff, he was now much more curious about Song Qinghan’s identity.
Noticing that Shuluo was staring at himself with an excitement on face, Song Qinghan coughed purposely, and then hurried to change the topic, “So why are you showing up here? I did not see you when all the logistic team members gathered previously…”
Hearing so, Shuluo got his eyebrows sunk all of a sudden, pitifully.
“The labor in the doctor team is far beyond sufficient, and I happened to encounter something unexpected, that’s why I am here. Well, it’s a luck for you not to witness the messy scene there with blood and flesh everywhere. I haven’t got a good sleep yet since I came here, nightmares are haunting me every single night!”
Song Qinghan was quite sober in mind now after being a short while of helpless, as if he had never expected that things would happen so smoothly meeting his demands.
He then pondered for a brief moment, and then came to ask gently, “Can you bring me in?”
Shuluo stood there, stunned. He opened his mouth slightly as if to say something, but later on, an expression of know-everything appeared on his face, he clapped his hands, saying, “Are you going to show your prowess, right? That should be a good news to us! Why don’t we go there now…”
Song Qinghan reached out to unveil the mantle on Little Shitou’s head and then showed him to Shuluo, while saying in a low voice, “I have to arrange everything for my child first. Since the adults have the capability to endure the pungent smell, no kid is going to like that.”
