Wei Chang Feng walked to the closet to get his gym clothes as if he hadn’t noticed Qi Le An’s gaze.

Qi Le An couldn’t help but look down on Wei Chang Feng’s bathrobe.

The bathrobe was only thigh-high and Wei Chang Feng’s legs were exposed. Wei Chang Feng’s legs were long with the bones in a straight line from thigh to slim ankle, so straight and slender.

“How’s your leg, Wei Sama?” Qi Le An asked.

Wei Chang Feng turned around and said, “The stiffness has basically disappeared. I feel alright. The doctor suggests that I rest for two more weeks though.”

Gary reminded Wei Chang Feng that he had already prepared the suit and tie for the premier for him, Wei Chang Feng nodded and thanked him. Then he went to the bathroom to get changed, it was gym time for him.

Qi Le An and Gary gazed at each other in awkward silence.

Finally, Gary broke the silence, “Have you finished your homework, An?”

Qi Le An, “…”

No, he had not.

He left school in such excitement that it didn’t even occur to him that he still had homework.

Qi Le An shook his head and kept thinking he had to burn midnight oil again when he went back to Hai City. Wei Chang Feng who was walking out of the bathroom in activewear now seemed to have noticed the awkwardness in the room. He asked, “What’s going on?”

Qi Le An quickly shook his head and changed the subject, “Where are you going, Wei Sama?”

Wei Chang Feng smiled and said, “Heading to the gym.”

“The gym?” Qi Le An squinted his eyes, he looked at Wei Chang Feng’s legs and asked, “Can you start to exercise now?”

Wei Chang Feng shrugged, “I can still train upper body strength.”

It was already ten p.m., Qi Le An was quite surprised to hear that, then he felt so humbled, ‘No wonder Wei Sama can handle the ridiculous hours on set, he is so strict with himself.’

However, Gary did not show a surprised expression. Obviously, he was used to Wei Chang Feng exercising at such a late hour. Qi Le An thought about it and said, “Wei Sama, wait for me! Can I join you?”

Wei Chang Feng smiled and nodded.

Qi Le An darted back to his room, and as soon as he entered the room, Chen Shan asked, “What takes you so long?”

Qi Le An took out a white T-shirt from his suitcase. He quickly took off his clothes and changed into them in such a flurry, “I just said hi to Wei Sama!”

“What are you doing now then?” Chen Shan couldn’t help but ask.

Qi Le An smiled and said, “Going to the gym, together with Wei Sama!”

Chen Shan, “…”

The temporary assistant didn’t know Qi Le An and Wei Chang Feng were this closes, he stared at Qi Le An with his eyes wide open. Chen Shan didn’t approve how the new assistant made this a big deal, Wei Chang Feng was just Wei Chang Feng, so he shot the new assistant a warning look.

The new assistant bit his lips and lowered his head, ‘Have I done something wrong? Why is this manager glaring at me?’

Qi Le An changed his clothes and asked Chen Shan, “Are you heading off now, shall we go downstairs together?”

Chen Shan nodded. He had already gone through all the do’s and don’ts with the new assistant in minute detail, plus he needed to rest well for his exam the next day.

Hearing that, the assistant let out a sigh of relief and walked to his room to review his notes.

Qi Le An knocked on Wei Chang Feng’s door.

Wei Chang Feng was ready too. Seeing that Qi Le An was just wearing a t-shirt, he returned to his room to get Qi Le An a jacket, “Here, put it on, it’s a bit chilly tonight.”

Qi Le An was wild with joy when Wei Chang Feng handed him the jacket!

Wei Chang Feng and Chen Shan greeted each other briefly before Chen Shan left the hotel.

Wei Chang Feng and Qi Le An were the only two at the gym, Qi Le An had never been to a hotel gym, he was surprised to see how fully equipped this place was.

“Do you wanna warm up a bit on the treadmill?” Wei Chang Feng asked.

Qi Le An nodded.

Wei Chang Feng then went to the Weight Bench that was not far away from the treadmill.

But Qi Le An soon regretted his choice. He couldn’t see his Wei Sama when he was running on the treadmill, the only reason he was excited about the gym was to look at his Wei Sama, he wasn’t actually interested in the workout.

Qi Le An was much taller than a year ago when they first met, he didn’t exactly have a muscular body shape, but he looked very fit.

Wei Chang Feng caught himself staring at Qi Le An unknowingly, his heart started to beat along with Qi Le An’s legs. He showed a smile when he saw Qi Le An’s shins, hairless and smooth shins.

Wei Chang Feng’s eyes dimmed all of a sudden.

He recalled that dream.

He tried to forget that dream but to no avail, he had even tried to keep a distance from Qi Le An. But when he saw Qi Le An’s message and received Qi Le An’s call, he knew he couldn’t do it, there was no point trying.

Wei Chang Feng found that he had such a soft spot for this strong yet vulnerable boy who was trying his best to fit in this world.

‘A soft spot? That’s all? There’s nothing else?’ Wei Chang Feng wondered.

Wei Chang Feng couldn’t figure it out, he had never had any romantic feelings for anyone, boys and girls, alike.

His life had actually been very simple, he was introduced to a famous director when he was a boy, he had been juggling school life and life on set since he was five years old He met Qin Xing when he was a teenager, who had the same childhood just like him, his only bosom friend in his life.

After Qin Xing’s accident, he became depressed and he couldn’t even leave his house. Wei Xin’an had to accompany him overseas for years to get him through that heartbreaking time.

Wei Chang Feng found it hard to communicate with his old friends when he was abroad, not to mention making new friends or fall in love with someone. Although his upbringing made him a perfect gentleman who always looked after everyone around him since he was young, he hadn’t really opened up to anyone since Qin Xing, it was almost impossible to let the guard down.

He couldn’t fathom why he couldn’t stop thinking about Qi Le An since their first encounter. It almost felt like they had known each other in their last life, he always felt so comfortable around the boy.

Wei Chang Feng sighed.

It was hard to meet someone that he felt he could trust, he decided to listen to his heart.

Half an hour passed quickly. Qi Le An was sweating and panting, he decided to call it a day. Wei Chang Feng handed him cold water with an encouraging smile.

“Well done, An, I’m sure you are gonna sleep like a baby tonight,” Wei Chang Feng smiled, “exercise is good for your sleep.”

Qi Le An took the water and gulped it down. Wei Chang Feng laughed and said, “Easy, easy, An. Gulping down like that is not going to quench your thirst.”

So Qi Le An started to take small sips.

The two went back to the hallway and said good night to each other at the door. After Qi Le An went back, he took a hot shower and threw himself in bed directly!

Qi Le An slept very well that night! He decided to add work out the exercise into his daily routine when he went back to Hai City.

He knew it was going to be hard in the beginning, school, homework, English courses, movie appreciation, and now workout? But his Wei Sama had set a perfect example for him.

Qi Le An didn’t wake up until ten o’clock the next morning, he was famished. He was about to call his new assistant when his doorbell rang.

Qi Le An jumped out of bed in a daze, it was Gary.

“Morning, An, Wei Ge asked me to get these cupcakes for you.” With that, Gary handed Qi Le An a bag.

Qi Le An quickly took the bag, he had recognized the logo immediately, it was Wei Chang Feng’s shop! Wei Chang Feng had taken him there when he visited B city for the first time!

“Where’s Wei Sama?” Qi Le An’s heart pounded on thinking about his Wei Sama.

“He’s downstairs with the crew members,” Gary replied.

Qi Le An smiled and said, “Thank you so much, Gary!”

Qi Le An beamed with smiles on thinking how much his Wei Sama cared about him, cupcakes from his shop, ‘did he make them by himself?’ “You are welcome, An.” With that, Gary went downstairs as well.

Qi Le An couldn’t wait to open the bag right after Gary left. The was a cup of coffee in the bag besides two cupcakes and a croissant.

‘It looks like Wei Sama has noticed I enjoyed the croissant when I had breakfast at his parents’ house the other day.’ Qi Le An’s heart was brimming over with happiness.

Qi Le An took a sip of the coffee in satisfaction, he felt like the happiest person in the world.

The premiere of Better Days was scheduled at two in the afternoon. Qi Le An got changed around twelve.

The suit and tie were prepared by Chen Shan. The custom-made suite made Qi Le An look even more slender and attractive. The tie had added a touch of sex appeal to him.

Qi Le An walked to the venue around 1, he was so thrilled to watch his first movie.

Many famous directors and big shots in the industry were invited. Sheng Chang’an, the president of China Entertainment, was of course invited as well.

However, Qi Le An was not ready to see the representative from Glory even though he knew the crew must have invited Glory. It was Wang, the Chief Inspector of the Film and Television Cooperation Department.

Wang had also brought a trainee from Glory, Chu Cheng Yuan.

Qi Le An’s mood was dampened as soon as he heard that name.

“An!” A cheerful call had interrupted Qi Le An’s thoughts. Qi Le An looked up and it was Tong in a long white gown walking towards him.

“Tong!” Qi Le An’s eyes sparkled on seeing a familiar face. “You look gorgeous, are you walking the red carpet later?”

A crew member chimed in, “Tong is the hostess today.”

“Wow!” Qi Le An’s eyes lit up and he asked, “Really? That’s great!”

Chen Jing Tong nodded with a smile. “Yes, really. ”

Qi Le An replied, “Awesome! You are the whole package, Tong!”

Chen Jing Tong grinned.

Tong was going to host the premiere with a renowned male host, she had even introduced Qi Le An to him at backstage. Qi Le An’s new assistant was so star-struck the whole time that he looked like he was in shock all the time.

Seeing that, Qi Le An missed his Chen Ge even more.

The venue was almost full at one-thirty, the crew members started to play trailers and funny bloopers on the screen.

Qi Le An kept looking for Wei Chang Feng backstage, finally, he saw Wei Chang Feng entering the venue from the side door when everyone was staring at the screen.
