"You didn't tell him?!" Nick exclaimed while I sat down on the bench next to him, putting a leg on either side so he could put his foot up.
I groan as I start lacing up his skates. "I freaked out, Nick! Everything was going great and I didn't want to mess it up. I can't just throw that at him after everything." I finish lacing up his left skate and he trades it out with his right one.
"I'm sure he will understand."
"That's not what I'm worried about, Nick. After talking to him last night, there is a chance we could be friends and I don't want to jeopardize that. And telling him would potentially make things go back to how they were when he got here so I don't think right now is the best time." I ranted, tying up skate and putting his foot back on the ground so I could get started on mine.
"But the longer you wait, the worse of a reaction you might get. If you tell him now, there would still be a chance to be friends; but if you tell him later, he might get mad and think you were purposely hiding it from him." Nick argued.
He had a point, but knowing Harry, he wouldn't get mad over something like this...would he?
"I don't know." I sighed. "In other news, David invited us over for a small hang out tonight."
"Count me in. I'll pick you and Riley up later. Oh, and ask if Harry and Zayn can come."
"Sir yes sir." I mumbled, taking a mental note to text David about invited Zayn and Harry. They have met before at a party freshman year of college, so I was confident he would let them come with us.
After our training session, I went home and showered before throwing on a pair of leggings and a brown knit sweater. It was still pretty cold outside, but at least it wasn't snowing anymore.
I got the very enthusiastic okay from David about inviting Zayn and Harry, and they agreed to the plans as well, all of us deciding to meet up at David's around the same time.
He wasn't lying when he said only a few people would be here. It was me, David and his girlfriend Vanessa, Harry, Nick, Zayn, and two of his old college roommates.
We were currently all sat in a circle in his living room playing spin the bottle truth or dare like a bunch of middle schoolers. Sam, one of the old roommates, spun the bottle and it landed on me. "Dare."
He pretended to think for a moment before telling me my dare. "Kiss your partner for ten seconds - with tongue."
I roll my eyes at his childish dare. "What are we, five?"
"I mean, we are playing truth or dare." Riley retorted.
I notice Harry tense up across from me, and I couldn't help but feel guilty. Why? I don't know. It's not like I had anything to feel guilty about.
"That's weak. How about seven minutes in heaven?" Nick quickly responds to the dare.
Sam nods, agreeing with Nick. "That's even better."
I send Nick a glare as he grabbed my hand and pulled me up, earning a few whistles behind us as we turn the corner and put ourselves in the coat closet.
"Don't worry. We don't have to do anything. I figured you didn't want to kiss me, especially in front of Harry." Nick spoke into the darkness.

I sigh in relief. "Thank you. I didn't want to make things weird with him."
"What are friends for." He chuckled. We stood there making light conversation, mostly about Louis disappearance, until our time was almost up. "We should at least ruffle our hair up a little to make it look like something happened or else the guys will shove us back in here." I felt his hands in my hair and he started shaking it around, making it a tangled mess. He retracted his hands after he built the nest on top of my head.
"Times up!" We hear a shout from outside the door so I open it slowly to find Sam standing outside of it with a smug look on his face.
"Had fun in there?" He asks cockily.
"Wouldn't you like to know?" I smirk as Nick and I walk past him and back to the living room.
I lean forward and spin the bottle once I sat back down. It slows down and eventually comes to a stop, landing on Riley. "Truth." She answered the unasked question.
I had no clue what I should even ask. I knew everything there was to know about her. "What is your body count?" I found myself asking.
"Four." She responds quickly. After a few times around, the bottle landed on me for the third time tonight. Jaden, the other old roommate, was the one who spun the bottle.
"Truth." I sit in anticipation, waiting for his question. He seemed to be the only one asking very intense and personal questions, which made the game interesting.
"Explain your first time."
I expected such a question from him since he had already asked it twice tonight to David and Zayn.
"Andrew Reynolds, on the night after his seventeenth birthday. His parents weren't home so we had sex in his room. Nothing interesting." I shrugged as I explained the dull story.
"Your first time was with Reynolds? Man, he would always brag to me and the other boys on the hockey team how he had sex with some hot ice skater but I didn't know it was you." David gaped.
"That asshole bragged about any girl who was stupid enough to sleep with him, including me." I scoffed.
"We were both stupid." Vanessa added in. I almost forgot her first time was with Andrew as well. He was sleeping with the both of us at the same time and that's basically how we became friends. I spin the bottle and ironically, it landed on her.
I gave her the weird dare of peeling a banana with only her feet because I was out of ideas at this point. She failed miserably and had to throw it away.
When she spun the old beer glass, it landed on Harry, and he picked truth. "Alright, what about you? How was your first time?" She asked. Everyone leaned forward, waiting to hear his answer.
"It was...good." His response was awkward and I could tell he was uncomfortable to answer it, considering his first time was with me.
"That's it? Come on, we need details. Kind of like how Maddie explained hers." She pushed.
Harry clears his throat and glances at me before looking down at his hands. "It was...uhm..."
Deciding to jump in, I open my mouth. "I don't think it's fair to throw this question in again. Ask something else." I say, making Vanessa look at me weirdly.
"Alright, Fine. Let me think." She thought out loud.

I turn to Harry, who mouthed 'thank you,' to which I just nod discreetly, paying my attention back to the game.

I woke up to the sound of knocking on my front door, knowing it had to be around five in the damn morning.
Groaning, I flip my covers off and walk to the door, suddenly feeling more awake when I see Harry standing on the other side after opening the door.
He smiled when he saw me and I shake my head in amusement.
"What the hell are you doing here at five in the morning?" I chuckled.
"Come watch the sunrise with me." He says excitedly, reaching over to grab my hand. "Please?"
In the dark, I could still see his adorable pout and he knew I wasn't going to say no.
I sigh dramatically and fight a smile. "Fine. I'll meet you downstairs." I step away from the door, quickly use the bathroom, and brush my teeth before throwing a hoodie on over my sports bra and meeting Harry downstairs in the parking garage.
He was leaning against his car and looking down at his phone. His face lit up when he saw me walking towards him.
"You better be buying me coffee." I joked, shoving my hands into the pockets of my hoodie. It was a little cold tonight.
"What kind of boyfriend would I be if I didn't?" He winked, opening my door for me and pressing a kiss to my cheek before I thanked him and got into the passenger's side.
Once he got in and started the car, he looked over at me with a smile. "Ready?"
I shrugged and covered up a yawn with my hand. "Yup."
As promised, he got me my coffee from Tim Hortons and continued driving to whatever destination he had in mind for watching the sunrise. No matter how many times I asked, he wouldn't tell me.
When he was driving down an empty back road, my caffeine had kicked in and I rolled down my window after putting a piece of gum in my mouth. I smirk when he looks at me and turns up the radio as Waves by Mr. Probz started playing. I removed my seatbelt and sat on the bottom of the window, holding onto the bar inside.
"Be careful, Mads!" Harry says from inside the car. I feel him grab one of my hands and keep a firm grasp on it while I just smiled widely, I thought my mouth would have ripped in half. My hair was forced back behind me by the wind as he continued to drive down the road.
When the song ended, I went back inside the car and safely secured myself with the seat belt. Harry glances at me, smiling widely and shaking his head.
"You're insane." He chuckled, stopping at a red light and turning right.
"I know." I responded, still grinning like an idiot. He pulled into an empty parking garage and drove to the very top, putting it in park and hopping out. Before I could open my door, he was already there.
"Thank you, kind sir." I say as he took my hand and helped me out. I pecked his cheek as he shut the door. I heard music playing and I realized it was coming from the car. "You left the car on."
"I know." He reached into the open window and turned the volume up.
When a familiar tune filled the air, Harry reached for my hand again and smiled cutely. "Dance with me."
I obey and place my hand in his as he gently pulled me against his chest. I wrapped one arm around his neck while his wrapped around my waist, our free hands joined together as we swayed slowly to the song.
"Her eyes, her eyes make the starts look like they're not shining..." Harry sang along with the music softly and I rested my head on his shoulder, listening to his soothing voice as I closed my eyes.
I heard birds start to chirp quietly and I open my eyes to see bright orange and red colors filling the sky, but the only view I thought was beautiful was the man in front of me.
Cheesy, I know.
He rests his forehead against mine and breaks our hands to use his arms to completely hug my waist.
"Maddie," He started. I hum in response to let him know I was listening. "I love you."
Time froze for what felt like forever, but it was only ten seconds of silence. We've never said those three words to each other sober before, and right now couldn't have been a more perfect time. He tensed up beneath me and I lifted my head off of his chest and looked up at him.
"Ti amo." I replied in Italian. A chuckle escaped my lips when a look of shock crossed his face. "Don't look so surprised. You said it first." I teased, leaning closer as our lips barely brushed each other.
"I don't know why, but hearing that in Italian is so much better." Harry grins. "Ti amo."
His timid behavior switched to a relaxed one and he grinned, closing the gap between our faces softly. I let out a relaxed sigh as our lips moved together slowly and perfectly, smiling against him when I felt his hands tighten their grip on me, fisting the back of my shirt as he pressed himself harder against me. Our kiss quickly escalated and soon my back was against the hood of the car.
I frown when he pulls away from our kiss, but he doesn't make a move to separate our bodies.
His dark eyes searched mine deeply as he breathed heavily. "I'm ready."
At first I had no clue what he was talking about. "Ready for what?" He cleared his throat and looked at me suggestively, and that is when I understood. He was ready to have sex. After we got interrupted by his mom last week, we never really talked about it again. But if he is ready, then he is ready. I wasn't going to force him. "Oh." I responded. "Are you sure?"
"Very." He dipped his head into my neck and began to roughly kiss every inch of my jaw, leaving my breathless. But I didn't know he wanted to have sex right now while we were in a parking lot at the ass crack of dawn.
"You mean right now?" I asked him curiously, trying my very best to ignore how amazing his mouth felt on my skin.
"Mhm." He hummed into my neck.
I held in a small laugh but I ended up snickering quietly and laughing a few seconds later, causing him to pull away with a pout. "Why is that funny?"
"I'm sorry. I'm not laughing at that. You ready to have sex isn't funny at all. It's just... we are in an empty parking lot at five in the morning. Don't you want to wait till we are home or something?" I explained, not laughing as much as before.
He lets out a relieved sigh before grasping the back of my knee and leaning us more back onto the car hood. "No. There is a perfectly good trunk in the car."
I couldn't help but laugh again. "Harry! You are not having your first time in a fucking car."
"Why not?" He whined.
"You're first time should be memorable. It should be with someone special." I tell him meaningfully.
"Having sex in a car with you seems pretty memorable to me."
I couldn't tell if he was joking or not, but I smacked his chest lightly and he let out a hearty, cute laugh. Once he stopped, he cupped my jaw and rested his forehead against mine again before speaking softly.
"You are very special, Maddie. I wouldn't want my first time to be with anyone else."
