《My best friends brother》Chapter 2

"Are you staying the night?" Aubrey asked as we were leaving the restaurant.
"Yeah" I answered. She nodded and we got back into the car. This time she sat up front and I sat in the back looking out the window. I looked up front and caught him looking back at me from the little mirror. Jaxon drove us back to the house and we got out. Aubrey and I walked ahead of Jaxon and I looked back at him. He was staring at my butt. I shook my head and looked forward again. We went inside the house and went right up to her room. I laid down on her bed and she laid down next to me.
"Wonder what schools going to be like tomorrow with Jaxon there" she said.
"Probably the same. Every girl wanting to be with him. Every guy will want to his friend again" I replied.
"Yeah that was always disgusting seeing girls hang on him most the time in the hallway. Or seeing the cheerleaders sitting on his lap in the lunchroom but then again it wasn't like that a few months before he went away. So it could be different" She responded.
"Doubt it" I said. I looked over at her and she was already falling asleep. I looked at the ceiling and took a deep breath closing my eyes as I let it out.
I woke up later that night having to go to the bathroom and of course I was thirsty. After going to the bathroom I went downstairs. I opened the fridge and grabbed a water bottle. I closed the door and turned around. I got pressed against the fridge and felt his mouth against mine. He pulled away and was smiling. He backed up smiling at me and then he turned around going upstairs. I shook my head wondering if I just imagined that. I walked back up the stairs and went back into Aubrey's room. I sat down on the bed and shook my head again. I took a drink of my water and put it on the night stand by her bed. I laid down trying to go back to sleep.

They next morning I used Aubrey's clothes. She has the same waist size as me but the chest. Not so much it fit but it was very snug. I came downstairs and Jaxson was looking at me. Aubrey was finishing her breakfast.
"Ready to go?" She asked. I nodded. I looked at Jaxon one more time. He winked at me. Aubrey grabbed my hand and pulled me out of the house. We walked down the sidewalk. The school was only a few blocks away. I pulled my phone out checking it. No messages or calls from the parents. Again. Third night in a row not coming home you'd think they'd call but nope. Don't know why I even bother checking it for them. I put my phone in the back pocket of the skinny jeans I was wearing.
We were hanging out by our lockers and the doors opened. Everyone looked. It was Jaxon. Girls mouths dropped. He was wearing a well fitted black shirt that showed off his muscles. Along with some dark blue jeans. He had his combat boots on too. I bit my lip and looked away. Okay it's true. I liked Jaxon and honestly we had a little secret. Aubrey would kill me if she found out about it. Before Jaxon left he kissed me. In the living room of his house before getting in the car and that wasn't all of it. We were kind of secretly dating behind her back. I knew if she found out we wouldn't be friends anymore.
When I looked back he was smiling at me. He walked over and looked at Aubrey.
"So the person who is suppose to show me my classes is our girl Lena" he said looking at me. I shrugged. I closed my locker.

"The president of the student council always shows the new people around" I said. I started walking away.
"You coming with or no?" I asked. He nodded and we walked to the office.
"When did you get on the council?" He asked.
"The last month before school ended. We did this election and surprisingly I won it. Didn't think I would've but here we are" I answered. We got his papers and walked out of the office. He put his hand on my waist stopping me and I looked at him.
"Are you going to pretend like last night didn't happen?" He asked. I looked at the ground.
"I think it's for the best. I don't want to hurt her" I answered. He tucked a piece of my hair behind my ear.
"Aubrey doesn't have to know" he replied. I looked at him.
"I can't lie to her again" I responded.
"Lena" He said. I moved from him.
"Your first class is right there" I said turning and walking away.
After school I walked to my house. I came in and my mom was sitting on a stool at the counter. She had her glasses on and on her work computer like she does everyday after she gets home.
"Lena?" She asked. I walked into the kitchen.
"Yeah mom" I said.
"How was school?" She asked still looking at her computer.
"Fine" I answered. She nodded. I turned around and went upstairs. I turned my radio on and went to my closet. I grabbed some shorts and a tank top. I went into the bathroom and got into the shower.
I walked out of the bathroom and Jaxon was on my bed.
"What are you doing here?" I asked. He stood up and walked over to me. He grabbed my face gently and kissed me. I kissed him back and then pushed him away. He pulled me back into a kiss. He started walking backwards. He sat down and pulled me onto his lap. He moved down to my neck.
"Jaxon" I said pushing him away. He put his forehead against my chest.
"Lena I need you" he replied moving to look at me.
"Things changed since you left" I responded.
"Please" he begged. I took a deep breath.
"I'm going to hell for this" I said. I pulled him into a kiss.
