I had a dream when I was 16 years old about a teenage girl that had to run away from her Puritan family because they wanted to try and hang her for witchcraft.

I honestly struggled finishing the first draft. I prefer to edit— as weird as that may sound! I love to work with something already created because there's way more to work with than coming up with a novel basically out of thin air.

My readers have expressed love and appreciation for The Two Foxes based on the mental health representation and the issues of war and diversity.

4

I enjoyed getting to know my characters and writing the nature scenes scattered throughout TTF. I always feel like I don't do the best with my nature scenes, but I always get the most compliments on describe nature, so I need to get over my self-doubt and skill with descriptions.

The Two Foxes is a stand-alone novel.

I want readers to understand that not every woman needs to be physically strong to be considered a strong female character, that your mental illnesses don't need to define you or take control over your life, and that war affects everyone.

7

Treat writing like it's your part-time job, and don't only write when you're "inspired"; you need discipline as well.

8

Yes, Sarah has quite a few similarities to me! I have a stutter and I also have anxiety.

9

I believe the honesty of my book will draw in new readers; they just need to get past the historical aspect. I understand it can be hard to do so because history classes are usually boring, but take a chance on historical fiction! The genre needs more readers, especially on Wattpad.

10

Yes, I do. My future project is set during Ancient Ireland and follows Neas, a teenager that is blessed by the Celtic goddess Danu, able to control the four elements. But Neas' life is turned upside-down when she has to marry a stranger for political alliances as war threatens her village— instead of her soulmate.
