I can't remember, it was over 2 years ago and my memory isn't all that good so I have forgotten. But it was probably just a daydream that I wanted to write before I forgot and it started to turn into an actual book.
Lots of things. Starting with coming up with ideas and ending with writing the ideas down the way I thought of it in my head. And I think that was the hardest part, I couldn't take the idea from my head and put it on the paper. I still haven't figured out how.
I think some of the interactions Kate had, I enjoyed a lot.
Well, besides all of the things I should fix (AKA all of my grammar mistakes) I get a lot of positive comments so I think people like it. At least, I really hope they do.
it is a stand alone novel and it's not finished yet so it could change, but I don't think it will. I think it will best be a stand alone.
That no matter the struggles, you will get through it and you deserve happiness. In my book, some things that occur aren't always the most realistic or common but that just shows that odd things happen and you can always get past them, and on the way make yourself a better person.
Mostly, just know that there will always be a person you think is better but there will also always be a person who thinks you are better than them. And no matter how bad you think your story is and how much better you think someone else's is, your story is amazing. And if you make it the best you can, it'll be even better than you think. Because while your story isn't for everyone, and it might take some time to find who it's for, it is for someone.

I think so, I'm stubborn and sassy and as affectionate as Kate. I really did base Kate off of me, and while I did make changes (like making her taller) I think she kind of reflects how I used to be. If I rewrote what I have already written now (and I currently don't write, my awesome co-writer does so be on the lookout for an interview I did that dives into more details about this. It is going to be in the Meet The Authors Edition #7 premiering on November 1st), I know I would give Kate some character development that is like the changes I have made as a person but for the most part, we do share many similarities.
I think the beginning is an interesting way for a character to introduce themselves and I think the way I wrote it gets people curious. Then Kate keeps them interested. With the way she does and says things, I believe that Kate does the drawing in of new readers. Either that or it could be my amazing cover (made by @EmbersFromInk) or my not very well written summary. Whatever it is, I'm glad I have it.
No, I do not. I have learned that writing isn't my thing so I don't think I will try again. But I have thought of some story ideas that I like so I might change my mind. There's a small chance I will write another book but there is a chance. Be on the look out ;)

FORTUNATELY, the wheel turns, and the day of that wedding, the city is attacked, and Joey is stolen away, in a manner which is entirely painful and appropriate.
