The first thing I came up to was the female protagonist, Alexa. She is the result of my own kind of therapy. I need to write about certain things in my life and the rest unfolded from there.

I chose to write every chapter with a double POV; I took it as a challenge, but sometimes it can frustrating. Time; is a real struggle in general and the fact that English is not my first language.

I've been getting such wonderful feedback. Some people find the double POV strange at first, but overall they end up giving the story a shot and I'm super happy with the feedback.

The character's background and how they grew from there. Some scenes were quite emotional but it gives me great satisfaction when I think people can feel those emotions through my words.

Yes. As I said, Alexa was what motivated the whole book, and my personal experience was what motivated me to write Alexa. I wanted not to tell my story, but to find an outlet to certain feelings, so instead of writing in the first person, I wrote about a girl who was feeling the same. That was my sparkle. Everything else came from there.

I don't know, but hopefully, people open the book and really feel the power behind the words. I think if people feel a connection they will join the author in the adventure.

Yes. I would like to edit my other book, Promise me, because it's totally unedited and, again, English is not my first language so... yeah. And I have some ideas for a new story. I have some general lines about it on paper already, but I'm still playing around with it. I have my energy focused on Chasing Stars, at the moment.
