Entangled is the epitome of an awesome dream turned book. Though I've written several books based on dreams, this dream was, by far, the most shocking dream I have ever had. It was like watching a movie from start to finish.
It felt like a mundane dream throughout, but then something happened at the end that had my subconscious jaw literally on the floor (Okay, so a subconscious jaw can't 'literally' be on the floor, but work with me here ;) ). I was beyond shocked, and when I woke up, I knew that I had a really fantastic story on my hands. I also thanked God, because I knew there was no way my mind came up with that dream. I felt he had given me a little present.

The struggle was, part of what made the dream so incredible was that I had no clue something incredible was coming. So I wanted to stay true to that set-up. I want the reader to truck along, believing they are reading a somewhat normal book (there are strange things throughout, but nothing like what happens in the final two chapters), and then to have their minds completely blown, as mine had been, because they can not believe how it all turns out.
I have passed this book through several beta readers' hands and the response has been fantastic. One sent me a full-page email, expressing how grateful they were to have the chance to read it as it was far better than any binge-watching they'd been doing as of late. "A highly entertaining read!" "Twisted!" and, "I did NOT see the ending coming!" have been some of the exact responses. The fun thing about the book is, I've had 16-year-olds read it all the way up to 85-year-olds, and each found it highly entertaining, so it is a book that men and women, old and young, have all found highly entertaining (a first for me as I usually write for a younger female audience.)

I absolutely loved, loved, loved writing this story. I loved the twisted, strange characters Easter and Earl. I loved delving into the dysfunctional relationship of their downstairs neighbors Chrissy and Matt. I love that there are no black and white, good and bad characters (aside from Matt. We can all agree he just needs to go! Maybe not the way he did. But he was just horrible). But mostly, the characters are multifaceted, and you can understand what drives them, even when they make choices that are obviously wrong. But it will forever be the ending of this story that had me so eager to write it, complete it, and give it my all. Just as it was in my dream, the ending of Entangled it is so twisted, completely unexpected, and fun *by fun read 'jaw-dropping, sick, and shocking' ;)*
It is a standalone novella. Although Entangled is complete at 90 pages, it packs a real punch. I don't like to play (write) by rules -- I don't like to stretch writing out to meet a specific word count. I write the story as it should be told and let the word/page count lie where it lies at the end of it all.

I would like them to be completely floored, to have their minds blown, and to just feel super entertained by the end of it all, as I was.
I do get ideas for other books while I'm in the middle of writing sometimes, and it's hard not to get pulled away. I have a separate google doc, where I write down those ideas to store away for another time. I also find it helps me to have an end goal always in sight for my WIP. I like to have an outline for my books and try to write a chapter by chapter summary outline for my books before I start the writing process. I know how I want the story to end, and I keep my eye on achieving that ultimate end goal. I think it's easy to not complete a story and just flit from one idea to the next if you don't have a somewhat solid idea of the beginning, middle, and end to your WIP.

Oh man, with how twisted the characters in Entangled are, I sure hope not. Haha! Unfortunately, Matt and Chrissy's unhealthy relationship was inspired by an actual couple that I know. It was hard to watch that type of relationship unfold in real life, and writing it was somewhat daunting because I know women do go through what Chrissy goes through; I've seen it firsthand.

At first, Entangled might seem like an average, run of the mill story in some respects. But the promise that there is something lurking beneath, something that will, in the end, shock you, possibly traumatize you (as I felt after my dream), and definitely leave you wondering what. just. happened!?
Yes! I actually have a four-book romance series (SAVING JANE) that I plan to get up on Wattpad soon. I have another romance/slow-burn thriller, ESCAPE, currently in progress on Wattpad, and I have one more book, a sci-fi (yes, the ideas all came from dreams lol), that I have the rough draft written and just need to edit that I can't wait to get put up on the site. Once those are all set and finished, I have several more books ideas in my trusty google doc folder that I'm super excited to sink my teeth into -- one being fanfic for Twilight; an extension of Jacob and Renesme's relationship now that she's getting older...see what I did there -- 'sink my teeth into'...Twilight...get it?? Okay, I'm officially a dork. lol

Twilight over Arcania
SynopsisA child dies in an alley, but it's not the end.A mysterious entity known as Voice saves the child. The child is reborn in a world named Arcania. A world where magic exists. With a second chance at life, what will the child do in this strange new world?Rebirth Arc (17 chapters - Complete)Liara is reborn in the world of Arcania as a baby. She must grow, and learn of this strange new world.Twilight Arc (Ongoing)Liara makes a place of herself in the world and learns of Arcania and what will happen if she does not intervene.Author's NoteWhat you can expect from this storyThis novel is my take on the resurrection theme. I wanted to write a resurrection story with every element I liked about the theme, but without the elements I disliked. This is the story of Liara. MC's second go at life in a world where magic is real.Arcania is not a nice place. It is my answer to the question "How would civilizations develop if powerful magic was real and widespread enough." I try hard to make a large consistent story in a large consistent world. There will be lots of characters and organizations built to various levels of depth. The story starts small and grows in size and scope.I try to avoid plot armor as much as I can. You can expect at least MC to make it alive quite far in the story. It's the MC's story after all.I spent time building the world before beginning with the writing itself. How continents are shaped, the evolutionary history of the species, the history of the world, the structure of the solar system, the rules of magic, etc... I have planned the whole overarching plot. I have a clear ending in mind. There will be lots of battles and action. From large scale magic battles between immensely powerful beings to small skirmishes. Expect fights to be bloody. In Arcania, magic is just another set of law of physics. It's a natural phenomenon with clear rules to it. Gods exists, they are absolute being that see humanity like a human would see an ant. They are not just really powerful individuals. They act rarely, and indirectly. What this story will not beThere will be no harem element and little to no romance or sex in this story. There will be some comedy and comic relief, but Arcania in general is not a nice place.Fights will be bloody, but I won't write gory descriptions.

Edge of the Storm
A thousand years after narrowly escaping extinction, humanity still fights for survival on the fringe of space. On the alien, hostile world of Deana, Taro is tasked with dealing a mortal blow to an enemy that has pursued the last dregs of the human species across light years. From the Wild Summer hyper-carrier, Taro must strike out at an enemy that seems like it would stop at absolutely nothing to ensure humanity's time in the universe draws to an end. The key to it all is Valerie, a human bred super-weapon, and the discovery she makes aboard the enemy craft Delirium. What to expect from Edge of the Storm: You will find here a slow burning story that is punctured by moments of high flying action, intense mecha battles, gory hand-to-hand combat, tough decisions and sacrifices. What you won't find are black and white morals, harems, cute girls, big boobs, or anything else that might bring me troves of readers. You have been warned. Update schedule: Saturdays (and maybe Wednesdays).

This dungeon core, one bound to an element known only by the strongest people within the world, starts his new life outside of the void within a secluded mountain range, far away from any kingdom. How will the world react to this new dungeon core and his extremely dangerous element? That is yet to be foretold. Book 1 is available on Amazon Kindle Unlimited. Book 2 is available on Amazon Kindle Unlimited. The rest is available on Royal Road. If you do not have the financial means to purchase the books, then you may DM me on discord through my discord channel for a pdf version of the books. This is the first book I ever started out of my four current ongoing stories. This story has been edited through nearly a dozen times since the majority of the reviews, so take that in mind if you read through the reviews. This is a LitRPG and cultivation-based novel where the two are interlinked and the characters have to reach a certain degree of cultivation and a certain level in order to break through into the next tier. I tend to make a lot of maps for this book. I hope that you all enjoy my novel, and feel free to comment on any issues or errors you may notice. My Discord Server Top Web Novel Link

Sengoku Demon Chronicles
Sengoku-era Japan was already batshit crazy. Now it’s got demons. ~~~ Japan 1541-2. Miho, a young village guy [with a female name], is on the trail of his mysterious lost love when he unwittingly saves the life of Akira, a cynical ashigaru [low-level samurai]. By doing so, he incurs the wrath of a box demon who is way too petty to just let it go. After that, it’s mostly downhill. ~~~ Includes: purple mist demons, portals, Yuki Onna, other demons, warlords, ashigaru, a try-hard mage, an eight-tailed fox and an endless litany of pathological liars. Historically, it’s about as accurate as most Hollywood productions. Hopefully, a little better. ~~~ Note: due to having fewer followers than a no-touch, no-look sex cult, I'm taking a break from this for August/September. Will be back in October to finish off Volume 1 and start off Volume 2.
